minor scratch = there's a massive dent/panel tear that they have to pull out , fill in and respray round the clock to get it out the door. it honestly sounds suss. NEVER trust dealerships. take your dad with you to pick up the new van, get him or a buddy of his to go over it with a fine tooth comb. dealers are always out to screw u over.
You still haven't got a key cut for emergency access or a combination lock box hidden under the van ?
I didn’t get anything for the key for the van yet only because I only have this van for such a short period now that getting anything to add to the van seems like a waste of effort but I do have plans for the new van for sure! And yes, my dad is actually going with me to my next van appointment so 🫢 🤞🏼… He’s a truck driver & buys these vans for a living so I’m glad to have his viewpoint though to be honest I’m pretty stubborn & like feeling independent but I’m trying to let that go for this 😅😂 I also have an appointment with a mechanic for the next one as well so hopefully it will go much better!

Absolutely!! She is so funny, she actually made most of the funny edits herself & taught me how to go on TikTok and make them too haha She made it a requirement for being in the video that she could make funny edits 😂
And yes! So much to go in the new van! I’m thinking of going for an undermount AC from @cruisencomfortusa though so hopefully that saves room for more cool toys 😅🤞🏼

Dude, what's up with that dealership building??? Crazy plastic sheeting inside, plywood over the front window entrance, random boxes everywhere. Tons of vehicles parked out front. I agree, totally suspect.
Them also being that guarded for the status of a test drive vehicle repair doesn't bode well for their honestly and transpareny. Imagine having to deal with that behavior if you ever need to warranty or repair the vihicle you bought from them.
Trust your instincts, Tory! We'll see if you ended up buying from them or not. This is suspense will be tough!

I only considered going back because the guys work number is my lucky number & because they sounded like they felt so bad I might have convinced them to lower the price a lot 😅 But then I realized that it might not actually be “just a scratch” and they are possibly covering something major so we didn’t go back. But yeah, they absolutely did not!

Unless that van had been damaged and you knew it, don't trust them. There is a strong possibility its in worse condition than you think. make sure you check it out thoroughly before signing anything. Just remember the car dealer is paid to be your friend and the more convinced you're friends the worse for you. You will overlook stuff that is important to have checked out. People don't sell working vehicles without a valid reason. More often than not it's due to mileage but mileage also mean wear and tear on transmissions and engine components that are costly to fix. And please don't fall for the one little grandma owner who drove it to town once a week story. It's a lie and yes I have been told it myself buying my first car.

The irony of these vanners is not lost on me. They all seem to be " looking over their shoulder" for one thing or another. Esp females, which is understandable. A big gob, maybe a growling dog, they wo'nt think about it. They be wankers.

Have you watched Ame in a Van? She lost the keys to her steering wheel club & had to get someone to come out & cut it off with a grinder. Sparks were flying everywhere. Guy gouged her steering wheel & burnt the seat too. Then 20 minutes later she found the keys. Lol.

It's a bit of a drive, but there's a Cracker Barrel in Clinton, and a Walmart further West in Phillipsburg. You might have better luck in the western part of the state.

I'm gonna be moving out of my parent's place soon, and literally the first thing I'm doing as a woman living alone is getting a dog. Something intimidating enough to deter creeps. I've already met a GSD at one of the local shelters that I'm going to visit for a few weeks and see if he'll be the right dog for me 💛🐺

I tried so hard to fix the sound because people mention it but it always sounds fine on my end during editing 😅 But today I put it on the TV for my sister to watch before I posted it & I realized I think it’s my phone I’m editing on because for the first time I heard it myself & was like “wwwHAAaaaAaTTTttt” 😅😅🫣 So atleast that’s a good step towards fixing the problem 😅

@@ToryDelury hmm, do you use a good pair of headphones? That could help. Also, back when I did YT like 15 years ago, my editing software had a thing that showed the decibels, and if it was too loud, it would appear as going into the red. I know its difficult while living in a van, but id try to listen on multiple diff sources while editing, maybe u can connect to your van's speakers! Audio is tricky, especially if its not something youre used to working with.
