I put mini twists in the beginning of September and I had the grand idea to keep them in for growth and then I found your videos, will do the 6 month challenge ☺️
Since I love your channel, hair, and humor I would like to kindly enter the chat to advocate against using a tangle teezer. Yes, it works for a lot of naturals, but it hasn’t for me and I have tried the ultimate and everything in between. The bristles are too close together, in my opinion and yes I was “doing it right”. I think the Felicia leatherwood brush and the pattern wide tooth comb are great options with finger detangling being the best FOR length retention, especially since you mentioned in another video that the detangling tool was the main culprit for you (and a lot of other people but they just don’t know it yet). I’m in no way claiming that I know what works best for everyone, but I wanted to provide some other options. The verdict is still out for the Unbrush bc I have it coming in the mail. -kindly signed, someone with thick and dense tight curls/type 4.
I am not 4c BUT some people I know who are 4b/4c use the ultimate tangle teezer to detangle and shed way less hair. You don't have to use it if you don't want to BUT it is something to look into. P.S. My hair is 3c 4a and I LOVE my ultimate tangle teezer. I really do enjoy your vids. Again like I said before you don't have to try it if you don't want to though.
Things are going well for me! I plan on taking my mini braids out November to refresh my hair as it will be going on 3 months since I last washed it lol. But I'm so glad you're back! Anime makes me snort laugh too! LOL!
Twinsies in the worst way 🤣💕 I love that it’s going well for you! I’m so sorry I wasn’t able to make the group what I’d hoped, but I’m happy some of you guys managed to still find use in it. Thank you ♥️
U have the most beautiful hair I can’t see the thinning at the ends but of course it’s your hair so you’d know. You are so stunning I know you’re living in Japan and the beauty standard is super different there so I hope you font forget how gorgeous u are based on what’s around you.
🥺🥺🥺 thank you so much for this radiant comment ♥️♥️♥️ I’m not gonna lie, I do be forgetting 😭😭😭 Thank you so much for the reminder to resist the omnipresent pressure to conform. You’ve made my day; thank you for being a beautiful soul 🥹🫶🏾✨
I have been wanting to keep my hair in mini twist for longer than a month but with moisturizing, scalp massages basically manipulation my hair looks raggedy after week one so I don’t know how to protective style my hair. My hair is 3c 4a and I’m thinking that has a lot to do with it. Help. Suggestions. Anyone?
Omdsss we have similar hair texturessss and I think I’ve come to terms with the fact that our hair is NOT 4c and it requires a different regimen!! My hair can’t even do twists 😭😭🤚they loosen themselves! But I want to do a 3 month cornrow challenge soon Just to be sureee
We probably need to start watching UA-cam videos of people with our similar hair types and we most likely cannot keep our hair in protective styles for long ,we probably have to wash ours maybe once every week or two weeks…girlll WE HAVE ALOTT TO LEARN !!
@@razz-assproductions5113 I’m thinking of trying mini braids cause twists don’t last I can’t even do the twist while I wash my hair routine because it comes loose in the water. I think the only styles that will last in our hair is added hair. Human hair though
Only for times like this! I believe I mentioned in previous videos that’s it’s important to detangle thoroughly before starting a long term protective style like this. Hope that clears everything up 🫶🏾
🥺🥺 so precious. Anime is Japanese animation! It’s super popular with especially young people these days, but was extremely uncool to like 20 years ago when I was little 🥲 A few of the most popular ones today are Naruto, Demon Slayer, and Spy Family!
Hahahaha okay miss Carter...it's the catwalk for mee😂❤
Thanks love 🫶🏾🤣💖

LOL go head Ms. Carter. You look gorgeous and yes, please do a review on the Head & Shoulders shampoo and thank you!!!!☺
denman has a paddle brush (d38 power paddle) that works wonders for detangling surprisingly
Really?? I’ll have to check it out. Thanks for the heads up! 💕

Thanks so much for the suggestion! I wasn't even aware that the Tangle Teezer had evolved to an Ultimate form 🤣 I'll check it out 🌸
As a 4b/4c girl, YES to the tangle teezer@@cocoainkyoto
please to detangle thoroughly use a tangle teezer, its a game changer. demin brush is for styling not detangling.
She actually talked about it in one of her old videos that she doesn’t use a tangle teeter cause it breaks her hair
It’s the how I surpassed bra strap length video

I guessed demon slayer from the sound bite 😎 and I felt that struggle from being so tired after doing your hair for hours 😭
Omg YASSSSSSS a fellow anime sis 🥹🥹💖💖 we are the same 😭♥️
Yay to the anime the sound clip didn't help me guess 😭.. for this 6months are you retwisting to freshen up ?
It's ok love, thanks for trying 😂♥ Yes! Although not very well 😅
Are you going to be washing your hair in twists? If so, how often?
Yes! The goal was once a month but I ended up only washing half that amount 😅 Def do not recommend 💀

@@razz-assproductions5113 tell me bout it
@@razz-assproductions5113 it seems like everyone is 4c. That texture holds styles soooo good. Kinda jelly.
I never brush, comb or detangle my hair without it being completely saturated with moisturizer or conditioner
Nice! That’s a great habit for healthy and happy hair 🥰
Flash that hair girl flash it, flash it 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Thank you sis 😂💁🏾♀️
Love your hair- do you ever straighten your hair?
Thank you so much ♥️ I typically do once a year and I love it so much 😭
I would never or let anyone put a comb in my hair i dont care how big it is. A brush yes 😊.
