Pan Pizza on the Lone Star Grillz 20x42 Pellet Smoker

  • The Lone Star Grillz 20x42 Pellet smoker is a perfect oven for cooking a great pan pizza. Today I am gonna share a from-scratch dough recipe that is so easy you don't have an excuse for not giving it a try! Here is the recipe for the dough:
    300g bread flour (2 1/3 cups)
    7g kosher salt (2 teaspoons)
    2g instant yeast (1/2 teaspoon)
    210g water (1 cup minus 2 tablespoons - 7oz)
    6g olive oil (1 ½ teaspoons)
    All you have to do to make this dough is combine all the ingredients and mix it together until there is no dry flour left. Once you have that, cover the mixing bowl with plastic wrap and let it sit out on the counter for 18 to 24 hours. Two hours before you are ready to cook, start stretching the dough into a heavily-oiled 9x13 baking dish. The dough might fight you a little. If it doesn't wanna stretch, come back to it every 10 minutes until it stretches to the edge of the pan as shown in the video.
    Top the pizza with whatever you like and put it in a 450-475°F grill for approximately 30 minutes or until it's done... Awesome pizza!
