Bikes were great, especially for my dad being a complete novice. They did struggle at altitude until I modified the carburettors.
Wat kind of modification u have done replacing the main the jet size?
I purchased the Hero Impulse in 2012 and this video was a major reason for my decision. No regrets since then 😊 Enjoying all videos by Adam since then

That was beyond beautiful...India is amazing. Frustrating, aggravating, extreme-reaction provoking, but it leaves part of her in you when you leave. I love that you're skilled enough to ride those roads but man you got close to those edges. How'd your dad hold up? That's a memory you'll always have with him. Life is precious and short. LIVE IT.

This is a sublime 7 minutes of video. Superbly shot and edited. And what a fantastic demonstration of the fact that you don't need a fancy or expensive bike to have a great adventure. In fact, there's a lot to be said for using the simplest, light'n'low machine available when it comes to doing stuff like this! More power to your elbow and congratulations to your old man for surviving one hell of a baptism of fire!
To some people who think that the Goat committed suicide: Those Himalayan Goats can run on some pretty steep inclines. They normally dont fall off the cliffs. They are very good climbers and de-climbers. ;)

Wasn't sure of Adam's prior dirt/enduro riding but obviously he's well-skilled, which gives great confidence to tackle such sketchy trails. Glad to see they're on small cc dirt bikes. Makes total sense for that adventure. Great scenery and clips!
Take note, you dont need a monster of a motorcyle to make an adventure
yeah , personally I would go 125 cc max ! c90adventures did some amazing stuff too
its all rock and solid rock , mud is a different thing for this bike .

I saw the full movie. You are awesome Adam. I own the bike that you rode. How is it? By it's price? I'm just amazed the way to did your travel like you said "living from the land". They are some riders who ride on 1200 cc adv's only on highways living in a five star hotels during nights and call them selves adventure riders. This is true adventure..venturing the unknown lands, making new friends along.. Truly awesome..
Impulse seems to be a great bike, just needs some higher CC versions like 200, 250 & 400.

The Hero Impulse is possibly the best bike in India, I did 8,500km on one in India and Nepal this year with a passenger, it never missed a beat, although we were not quite as brave as these people.

It is India's largest bike manufacturer who have made a name making low cost primarily sub 150cc commuter bikes. Till very recently, they were operating in a joint venture with Honda and sell about 500,000 bikes a month! But most of thier low tech technology is borrowed including this hero impulse which a copy of some honda 250cc off roader.

This is a Hero Impulse 150cc bike. Name in the title is not there to say that he's a hero but its the name of the bike. It's an Indian motorbike that has about 10kW.
