Took my mind back to 1998 when my son and I walked the Kali Gandaki gorge, tracks, all the way, besides other treks that year. I was 64 and he was 30. We both are still plodding and climbing and enjoying life. Namaste. When we walked the Kali Gandki we had dust storms every afternoon... Best wishes. Superb filming and good actors....
Thanks for the awesome comments! Really glad it bought back some happy memories and it sounds like a great trip away with your son. Still climbing? Big respect there 🙌🏻
Thank you for bringing a lot of fond memories from my own trip to Nepal and Tibet in 2009. The bikes were old trusty Enfield Bullets and off-roading, and plenty of it was on landslides, roadworks and no-roads. But generally Bullets were coping mechanically better than your bikes however is seems that we were riding tad slower. Cheers from Australia.
Sounds like an awesome trip. I think that these particular bikes had been well used, and maybe not well maintained, but they still coped with whatever we threw at them! Glad you enjoyed it 👍🏻
@@OllieMoto Saying the Bullets coped better was probably a bit too positive statement. One of the bikes totally burned all of electricals on the first day (fortunately close to Kathmandu) The clutches were replaced on practically all bikes over the length of Nepal leg (1180 km) One person finished in hospital and had to be sent home. But that's adventure. I'm now 71 and retired and still ride but on tarmac only.

@@OllieMoto I actually live and work in Malaysia so I went there to interview workers in order to choose them and hire them for my factory. For that, I went to Kathmandu, Pochard and lahan which is 8kms away from the Indian border. the trips were mostly for work so it was a shame I didn't have more time to really visit the country. Took us like 9 hours to reach Lahan from Kathmandu due to the poor roads conditions but that was like 12 years ago....my last trip was 5 or 6 years ago and Kathmandu had changed a lot ! even danced salsa in a restaurant there, what a great memory
@@OllieMoto also, I had the best coffee and paying sandwich of my life there. a coffeeshop was roasting their own coffee beans 8nside the shop and the smell and taste were to die for !
Haha, that coffee story is awesome. Yeah it’s such a cool place - Nims told me how the roads seem to change every time he heads into Mustang. It’s making it more accessible as time goes on, which is both bad and good. Good to bring money to those regions and make things like medicine etc more easily available, bad as it might dilute the way of life (according to the locals I chatted to).
@@OllieMoto you are right, like any country who is developing, it brings good and bad things. while you're at it, check the English colonialism too and the atrocities they committed. I enjoyed this documentary but for god sake, for once stop white skin worshipping like they did some while all they did was exploit Asia, Africa and Americas wealth and amassed their vast East India Company fortune.
@@aaronlepcha4768 Us Nepalis don't really have the hangover you Indians (guessing you are a lepcha from sikkim) have with the brits. we didn't get to experience the whole master-servant colonial experience. Nepal has always been on friendly terms with britain since the anglo nepali war ended. it's got nothing to do with skin worshipping or whatever BS. on the contrary, it's India that has an unhealthy obsession with the white skin, mate.

Hey Ollie - I am going to be candid (and leaving a long comment). I am a biker myself and I don't watch a lot of these videos. I was actually searching for Himalayan bike related videos and ended up here. When you said your group took about 9 hours to do 211 Km on the first day - It felt like - this group is just a bunch of boys out there to take some pictures and go home. So I decided to skip this video. But in the next couple of frames I felt there is something special about it and now I just completed watching the full video - So, decided to leave a comment. THIS IS JUST AMAZING. It felt like I was riding as a part of your wonderful group and experiencing each and everything that you all did/have gone through (many other videos lack this connect with the viewer - precisely why I don't watch them). Man - You deserve more subscribers/viewers/likes. Keep doing this wonderful stuff. - Your new Subscriber. Cheers !
Ah man, thanks for the kind words! Ha, that 9 hours / 211km was purely because of the traffic - we didn’t want it to take that long! I always try to make the viewer experience the adventure like I did but, for this particular trip, I was super lucky to meet Nims who (as I say in the movie) gave me the true Nepali experience. He is an absolute legend. Everyone should have a Nims! 😂
@@OllieMoto Couldn't agree more . It was absolute fun watching Nims throughout the movie. He was amazing. I have had a similar experience when I went to Ladakh ride a couple of years ago. My bike broke down in the middle of the snow mountains of the Ladakh valley - A truck driver (Narong - but like to be called Raja Hindustani) helped me get to Leh town along with my bike and find an accommodation for that night. As you rightly said - what stands out almost in every ride is the people that you meet during the trip. It feels a lot of love and kindness is still left on this planet when you talk to them - wow. the best of Nostalgia :) - Btw, give a heads up, incase you plan for Leh, Ladakh anytime - Would love to come by and say hi to your group. Also, If possible, leave any social media handle of Nims here - so I could try and meet him when we go to Nepal next year - Cheers !

It must be a fantastic Adventure crossing this wild part of the world, riding a Royal Enfield Hymalayan ! Thanks for this awesome video , I really enjoyed watching it 👍
Such a great motobike adventure movie loved it. The entire team was awesome and most awesone thing was the bond between you and Nims.

Great Job..I had so much Fun watching your whole video..Nice Adventure..Keep safe and God Bless
Being a Nepali, I never knew I am living in such a beautiful country..
Thank you for taking me everywhere..💕💕
You are very welcome.
Hi Ollie, fantastic video, great country 👍👍👍
really I have no words to describe this video its awesome I really enjoy watching this video. love you guys
Fantastic video! Loved the fact that it wasn't something you'd find on a TV show, but rather something real. You included the banter, the local people and culture, and even the problems along the way, which made it far more immersive. I'm betting you made Nirmal's year with this trip and he is definitely someone I'd look up for a guide if I ever manage to make it over there as I hope to do. Headed to check out the rest of your videos now :)
Yes it was a great trip jason. 🙏
Ah man, such cool comments, thanks. Yeah for me travelling is all about all the other stuff that happens and the people you meet. The riding is just an added bonus! Definitely hit Nims up - the boy is a legend 🙌🏻

@@OllieMoto Thank you. Indeed i enjoyed a lot. You are welcome.
Mr. Ollie. ✊✊✊. We rarely see this kind of motovlogging/ documentary with amazing storyline/contents. Feel proud you and your team visited Nepal.
Great, great video!!! was lucky enough to go to Nepal 3 times and what a beautiful country with even more beautiful people. thank you for such a great video and documenting your amazing trip !
Awesome! What did you get up to when you were there?
I love the relax feel there, how nice the locals are, how vibrant the colours are and the various smells you get to experience there. Have you planned to go back there at some point? come and visit us in Kuala lumpur if you have time and WHENEVER we will be back to a more normal life ahahahaha
This video was in my suggestions from so long, actually regret not watching it before.
You guys literally gave touring option on bucket list with almost all the details. Superb video!
Keep up the good work. Keep off road touring alive👍
Plan more such tours......❤️ Love from India🙏🏻
Get out there and do it! 😁
Much enjoyed your film I flipping love Nepal been there a few times and it never fails to be amazing
First hour + YT video I’ve ever watched. Just perfect! I’m doing this same ride next month and your video answered many questions.
You will surely enjoy 🙏
Glad it helped 🤘🏻 How did the trip go?
You're not the ordinary riders guys... the real bike for the real terrain... Thanks for sharing... Complete with wrap up and Cranberries time!
Hands down one of the best travel movies I have ever seen . I just couldn't take my eyes off the screen.
Kudos to the entire team and everyone involved in the process.
Please do make plans for Indian trip.
I’m already looking at trips to India now! Thanks for watching bro 👍🏻

Great job man.... Keep it up🤘🤟🤘🤟
Great vid man.. I can say with 100% surity that this is the best Himalaya mountains focused biking video I have ever seen because I didn't skip a second of it. Congrats on creating the best video of the genre..
Thanks man! 👏🏻
As Nepalese I always feel we have some sort of deep relationship with whole UK ❤️❤️🇳🇵🇬🇧
Off course they do! 😂😂😂 check out your history books!
while you're at it, check the English colonialism too and the atrocities they committed. I enjoyed this documentary but for god sake, for once stop white skin worshipping like they did some while all they did was exploit Asia, Africa and Americas wealth and amassed their vast East India Company fortune.
I am not talking about the war time. After war British recruit the gorkhas and till now we have healthy relationship
@@pusparajpaneru4363 whatever we love british I love you bruh, Is don’t me sad we are still same before an now. We are ready to fight 3th.
Beautifully compiled. Amazing documentary. Didn't feel like skipping any clip. Keep riding and keep exploring...
Thanks man! Really glad you enjoyed it. Such an amazing country to go on an adventure in.
you guys are enjoying the life so much and I'm so jealous ... wow this is an amazing experience.
Amazing Video, thank you! After my Visit in India last year and Myanmar in 2019 i'm currently planning a Motocycle Trip trough India and Nepal - thanks 4 your Impressions. I really enjoyed the whole Film, didn't skip a second!
Sounds like you have an awesome trip ahead! 👏🏻
What a fun to see you lovely people meeting lovely people.
Great fun to watch!
Thanks mate
Really glad you enjoyed it 👍🏻
Big fan Ollie enjoyed every single moment.
Thanks.
Man I have to say this is such an amazing video. I just finished watching it on my tv and I almost feel like I've been on the trip myself. Amazing filming, perfect choice of music and very good editing. I hope one day I will do a trip like this. Greetings from an Italian friend 🤜
Buongiorno! Really glad you liked it. Grazie per aver guardato! 😁 🇮🇹
love you man, from nepal, visit again
Awesome video and great adventure. That is how you make memories.
Amazing video overall.🤘
Being away from home, I could really feel the fun you guys had. Could feel how you guys gradually got adapted, and made it like you owned it.
Some real close calls on the road. 39:10 - I was like whoa whoo whooaaa - Damn!! Hope Ronnie, Seats and Ben had a quick injury recovery (I was literally talking out loud to slow down in some visuals :P, but I guess that's the fun part of hitting offroad)
The video left some imprints - like you feel when you watch a fantastic movie. Enjoyed every bit of it. Thanks for the compliment regarding greeting with a smile. Nice of you to notice.
🙏🏼♥️
Thanks so much for the awesome review. We had an incredible time in Nepal. Can’t wait to go back! 🤟🏻🇳🇵

Great adventure... thanks for visiting my country
Ollie What a great video of memory and adventure in my motherland. Thanks for sharing and remember for Nepal "Once is not enough". For your and others, the next Nepali Adventure, there are also places like Jumla, Humla, Dolpa, and western territories that also deserve a visit. Great job everyone on your team!
There’s so much to see. I’m hoping to get back there soon!
Ollie, thank you guys so much for bringing this piece of art of the adventure you guys had!
I end up here accidentally, I was looking for videos about the RE Himalayan that I'm looking to buy and, I found this amazing video.
Very professional editing, I felt I was watching something on Netflix or any of those adventure channels!! I enjoyed the songs, especially the local ones!
You should think of organizing expeditions like this and make money from it. I'd want to join it!
I'm glad all of the riders completed the whole journey in one piece haha.
Nepal people seem VERY welcoming, a big thanks for their friendly interaction in these videos.
Again, thank you so much for bringing this!
Please keep going with the quality of video and awesome adventures.
Greats from Brazil
Thanks so much for the awesome review! 😁 It’s great when you spend so much time making a video and people enjoy it. Nepal is definitely a country that you should visit, and I will 100% be going back. Guys great job !! Hope U people come again .🇳🇵🇳🇵🇳🇵🇳🇵❤️❤️❤️❤️
the best nepal bike trip's video ever. love it. done the same trip on 2018 .
Oh wow. I ended up watching full vedio. I liked the vedio. Specially the way you narrate through out the vedio 👍
Great vlog.. super edit.. wouldn’t mind watching it on Netflix! It’d in fact make a great content.. Planned to browse for a minute and ended up watching the whole video!!
A few people have said that now, very chuffed 😁 Thanks for watching 👍🏻
Yes me too
I didnt notice how quickly an hour went by without skipping a bit
love from nepal❤🇳🇵
Take me next time! Beautiful. ❤️♥️✌🏻✌🏻
I watched the full video..and there is one thing I wanna say..
The End Was pretty Emotional.
Love you guys...Hope you will come back once again to our beautiful country Nepal🇳🇵🇳🇵🇳🇵
It was an awesome trip.
Awesome adventure trip captured in a great looking video. I am here in the UK watching this video and missing home. But I felt like a part of the team. Cheers.
