Well that proves that the gun man was still alive and walking around. It collaborates with the note that police were talking with someone inside of the house. They were unarmed and so they waited for armed police to handle it. It proves that the gun man ( my crazy daughter has my gun, first police log ), was still alive. She also could have taken the silencer off and threw it somewhere, in order to shoot herself. The cousins found it then stuck it in the gun cabinet that reportedly had nothing in it prior!

@bonnielee7134 How does that prove anything? The only person that supposedly talked to the dad was his son. Nobody else talked to anyone in the house because they were already dead. And the only person who’d need a silencer is someone trying to get away with shooting people, but everyone is trying to portray her as a crazy person who just snapped, so which is it? Oh, I know. Neither. She was nothing but a convenient scapegoat.

From the beginning of this video before I ever knew his conviction was in doubt I thought to myself “if this is the evidence they are putting forward I don’t see it at all!” What little evidence actually exists in this case due to the bumbling keystone cops supports the conclusion that the poor mentally ill young woman killed her family! In short, once again they have framed and convicted an innocent man!!!!! I would say “unbelievable” but it’s totally believable that the cops are idiots!!

Nonsense, he put the gun on the table or so he says. She didn't shoot herself or the gun wouldn't have been found in her hand. That's not how self inflicted gunshots work. That gun was placed there. By the other person there. By the same person who said they had the gun earler. Jeremy. He admitted to being there. He was with his father that morning. He ate at the family home. He said he put the gun on the table. The silencer had her blood on it but was in the cabinet. She couldn't have shot herself and then put the silencer away. The gun wouldn't have been in her hand either. He told on himself.

There's a huge difference between INNOCENT and NOT GUILTY!
IF Sheila & Jeremy were the ONLY ones to inherit and Sheila is dead, then WHY in the world were the other family members swop onto the scene to SECURE the house? For WHO??? Not to mention, around the suspected time of the crime, THEY were the closest PEOPLE around and they were the ones who conveniently "found" incriminating evidence.
The other important problem, is the girlfriend NEVER discounted Jeremy's alibi UNTIL she thought she was being jilted!!! Hell hath no furry like a woman scorned!!!
And lastly, but more importantly, the police HAD to make Jeremy look THE WORST in order to distance themselves from COMPLETELY SCREWING UP THE EVIDENCE with the way they BOTCHED THE ENTIRE CRIME SCENE!!
In my opinion, I'm not saying, Jeremy is innocent, but how this case was handled...is and of itself is MORE than enough REASONABLE DOUBT for a

20 minutes in and I’m stunned at the complete incompetence of the investigation. How did this even go to trial?? There is no way that evidence was not compromised, the family members are completely suspect, and it’s clear the girlfriend was not being truthful and was clearly enjoying her fame. There was absolutely no chain of custody for the silencer that the family had for TWO DAYS before turning it in. How many people handled it? The evidence is so weak, the police should be ashamed at their actions and their incompetence. There is absolutely no way this would be brought to trial today! It would be laughed out of court and the officers fired. This is beyond a joke.
Ok, I’ve finished. This new evidence on its own should mean a new trial immediately. That silencer wouldn’t even be allowed in court today. (And who says Shiela didn’t take the silencer off herself? Although I don’t believe one was used!) The sheer incompetence and weak evidence of this case are stunning. The fact that the courts are allowing this to continue when the trial itself was completely corrupt is disturbing.
The family members are completely suspect. They said Jeremy killed for the inheritance but the family members had just as much motive. And they profited heavily from their ‘found’ evidence. That is completely suspect. The fact that the police allowed them to search the house, the fact that they ‘found’ the silencer and kept it for two days. The fact that the ‘blood’ on the silencer could have come from one of the extended family members is a huge red flag but the police dropped the ball.
He should be released pending a new trial.
That police officer should be ashamed to look in the mirror. His colleagues who also investigated should be ashamed to look in the mirror. They bungled the investigation, lied, destroyed evidence, relied on unreliable witnesses, comprised the crime scene, and ignored evidence. He’s trying so hard to convince us and himself that he’s right but you can see he’s uncomfortable and knows he’s wrong. He needs to be a man and do the right thing.
All investigating officers were completely incompetent and should have to answer for how badly they screwed up the investigation. How do they live with themselves and go home to their families knowing they railroaded someone, they messed up their jobs and someone has been in jail for years because of what they did. They played with someone’s life. Sickening.
The corruption of this world terrifies me. Police, courts, people. Somewhere integrity, justice and accountability have fallen to the wayside.

I would like to know when did the courts start denying evidence in a case? That is deliberately within evidence that can clear a person who charged in a case. When did the court judge allow DA's start lying in court? Also the DA's, Lawyers, and cops who are corrupt and tamper with evidence, should be charged and removed immediately from their duties. So suspension, FIRED!!! Why don't we have a system where the judge listening to all tape recordings involved in the case from the attorneys' and District Attorney's before any trials begin. Today, there is too much corruption in our legal system, world wide. Accountability of honor, honesty and fairness must be a requirement.

In my opinion, number one, why did it take hours for the police to arrive when what was reported to them was a potential murder? Number two, why did they change their reports completely? The reports were completely opposite from each other. This one I can answer, they had no one to blame but a dead mentally ill woman. They can't get their 15 minutes of fame now can they? It's no secret that those that supposedly solve the crimes that get the most media coverage, gets promoted. It's no secret that those cops that get the most media get promoted with the DA gets re-elected or places like Innocence Project and Innocence International wouldn't exist. These organizations exist for a damn good reason. With advances in technology many have been exonerated. Without these.fantastic organizations such miscarriages of justice would never have been possible. It's no secret worldwide that many so called police have done everything they could to take an innocent people have spent over 30+ years in jail for crimes they didn't commit. Then there's the overly aggressive DA who will withhold evidence not only from the jury but more importantly from the defense. Which means that the whole judicial system is corrupt right from the police who investigate the crimes right up to the judge. Everyone knows that makes decisions that 90% of the time goes against the defense. As far as I'm concerned there is no way for anyone to get a fair trial anywhere in any country. Btw was this so called human blood ever tested for the DNA? I rest my case. Any and all of this would be grounds for a not guilty verdict in my opinion.

that phone call from the father to police cinches the deal..!!!
HE said it was the daughter..!!!
I'm also suspicious of that cousin who 'found' the silencer. exactly how much did SHE stand to gain with the son's conviction..?
however, I do think the son was overdoing it at the funeral. maybe he sensed that he was the prime suspect...
and by the way - the puffed-up cop who comments in the video,
of course won't even entertain the idea that the police got it wrong.
    BUT.
he also goes on about the son being the only one with a motive. and THAT simply isn't true.
    look who DID inherit..!!!
and of course, there's the daughter.
    one more thing -
the grey hair found on the silencer. was it human..? if so, did it have a root still attached..? even without its root, mitochondrial DNA could be found with which to trace who the hair had come from.
all this is ABSOLUTELY grounds for a new trial.
AND the girlfriend's statement should be deemed inadmissible, as there's no corroborating evidence.

What if Jeremy made the call from the house pretending to be the father? Then left and came back afterwards? The phone call had me convinced he was innocent at first, but there is still a lot that doesn't make sense, like wasn't anyone in a panic position, or trying to flee, etc, so I wonder if the call was part of it...
I wish the investigation was done properly and evidence preserved. What a mess! Need to rewatch

    • @Vazik05
      @Vazik05 День тому

@@HoboSimiancould also have been one of the other family members that made the call. The problem is evidence was mishandled, collected by people that had motive as well and weren't law enforcement, and everyone involved had motive. Shouldn't have even gone to trial, and the police were either extremely incompetent, or the family and ex gf were taking advantage of the situation to set Jeremy up. No one should have even been allowed back in that house until the case/trial was over for further evidence collection. The whole thing was a farce.

I do not think the “new” evidence in this film holds up. It is out of the question that petite Sheila would have been able to shoot herself with this long rifle.
Mainly speculations with very little substance as far as I can see. But it’s always interesting to look at a vase again, admitted - but it does not necessarily mean the recent look is right.

    • @thepolitewierdo
      @thepolitewierdo 5 днів тому

The silencer should never have been allowed in as evidence because it was completely compromised. The phone call its self should demand a new trial. And the family members who ‘found’ the silencer were the ones who profited. That in its self is suspect. The police screwed up the investigation from the beginning, there was never a chance for real justice.

Why did it not occur to detectives the possibility that Sheila may have realized that the silencer was prohibiting her from pulling the trigger on herself, so she was the one who took it off and put it back in the cabinet? If they were hearing noises in the house shortly after the murders, could that have been what they were hearing? Could that also explain why there were no scratches on the gun cabinet, but there were later? Could Sheila have scratched the cabinet after the police took their photos and moved on from that room? And could that also explain why there were different reports about the number of bodies on each floor? Could Sheila have moved while she was still alive? Far-fetched stuff maybe, but still plausible.

Really suspect that the family members who ‘found’ the silencer and kept it for two days inherited everything. There is no way that silencer would make it into court today because it was so compromised. Even if he was guilty that evidence would not stand up in court today. (Also a schizophrenic who wrote about wanting to kill her children is just as capable of going through with it.)

Either A. The ex did it, went back after the fact to put the silencer in, jimmy the window and scratch the mantlepiece. The family found these things separately and reported them and shouldn't have been allowed as evidence, or circumstantial at best. B. The family members did it, offered money to the ex for her story incriminating Jeremy, and added the other things after the fact. Or C. The police missed ALL potential evidence completely and it was Jeremy. Even if C is correct he still shouldn't have been convicted because none of that evidence should have been admissible after the fact since it was "found" later by people other than the police. B is possible, but getting that many people's story straight is quite difficult. I think A is most likely and the simplest explanation. I suppose there's also option D. The sister really did do it, but without the silencer. Then the ex and/or family made sure blood was inside the silencer before turning it in or before placing it in the cabinet, scratching the mantle and placing the knife/scratching window when they realized the opportunity. Regardless the entire case should have been thrown out. The "evidence" was he said/she said testimony and things found after the initial investigation by other people with motive.

The gun having paint and the mantel having a scratch doesn't show WHO was holding the gun when it scratched the mantel. That is NOT, evidence for the defense. The blood that was her on the silencer and the fact it was in the cabinet means that no one else could have done it. He admitted to being there. He admitted to staying for lunch. He admitted to having the gun. There is no question that he is in fact guilty.

Jeremy could have written the note. He could have also put the silencer back after getting custody of the house. That doesn't prove his innocence either. Her blood was on the silencer. There is no question about that. The silencer was on the gun because her blood spatter was in the silencer. Her length of her arm is irrelevant. As is the scratch is completely irrelevant. What is relevant is her blood spatter in the silencer and it not being on the gun after. That's it. He did it. The scratch is completely irrelevant and has nothing to do with the case. It doesn't in anyway negate the fact of guilt.
