teak oil in a spray bottle? I need tricks like that. thanks for posting. I have a level from my Great grandfather I have been holding on to for years. I was thinking about restoration but had no clue how to get started. This has helped me more than you can ever imagine. Thank you for your help.
great job! maybe you can add the names and feature of the chemicals used in the video. that will be very nice for watchers in order to learn the restoration process.
Put a drop of vinegar on those screw heads, and then put a little wad of toilet paper them, also soaked in vinegar. Put some cling wrap around them and let them sit overnight. They should come right out.
You need to make the under side of the level absolutely flat, because that is what it is calibrated against. It is nice if it looks good, but that part has to BE good. And make sure the vials are reading level.
Brilliance in excess.
I haven't have an educated laughter like that for quite a long time.
Keep up the good work brother.
It is admirable.
