Also “Video games cause violence”
"video games are a waste of time"
Wall hacking irl.

Not if you never get off the couch
What Chastain did, was a HISTORIC Nascar move.
I agree he pullled a mlg clutch move
Not even hardly. This is a historic MOTORSPORTS move. This has already resonated, baffled, and shocked everyone from ALL different racing categories. What you just witnessed is one of the greatest moments to ever happen in ALL of motorsports history, period. No one will ever be able, or possibly even TRY to replicate this
@@sammy13ificationable can confirm, was not a nascar fan before this
Im not even a nascar fan but this is just insane! Awesome way of using the brake pedal on the right
Historic and will never happen again, as NASCAR banned the move.
Chastain is too far back to pass anybody.
Ross: hold my beer.
Haha
what a move, wow
The rest of the field will be attempting this move from now on.
@Chozey what sport?
I've been watching auto racing for 24 years. What Chastain did was without question the ballsiest move I've ever seen. That'll be talked about in NASCAR for decades to come.
"It was a videogame move!"
Damn right it was 😂
Either the doom music or warthog run started playing in Ross's car and it suddenly channeled the energy of every NASCAR 2004 player in the world at once.
NASCAR 2005 minor correction. Possibly a miss type by you.
I believe it was eurobeat that started playing
I personally think he got to the guitar solo of Free Bird
Yo fr!! It's exactly how I played Nascar 04 as a kid.
God I wish someone would edit them over
In 1979 I got hooked on NASCAR because Dale Earnhardt made it interesting. If Ross continues to drive like this, I may start watching again.
the crap part is NASCAR banned the move. I can see it being stupid dangerous on a super speedway, but short track it would seem the danger of minimized.
@@defineboredom that's a shame.
It's understandable, I think. They don't *want* people crashing. There was a pretty good risk of that here, and imagine if multiple people tried it.
@@defineboredomactually more dangerous at a short track like this because there’s no speed difference for the turns and straightaways at big tracks but there’s a big one at Martinsville and there are fans by the fence at Martinsville as well as a gate that could go open
Guys plz, this is not racing, why would it be legal?
this moment is going to be in every highlight for the next half century for 50 years for what ross chastain did, it was almost like god gave him a super power.
surprised it took this long for someone to finally do this
This move is right up there with one of the most memorable moments in NASCAR history, the 'Pass in the Grass' during the All-Star Race on May 17, 1987 at Charlotte Motor Speedway involving Dale Earnhardt and Bill Elliott.
Can't agree more
as long as there is a racing competition, whatever it is, this will always be remembered as one of the greatest move in any race period.
To far back to pass anyone! Famous last words !😂
@Chozey golf?... I feel like nascar is only boring if you don’t know what to watch for.
This guy must've been playing daytona arcade games his whole childhood. Finally, his moment has come.
I'm calling this the "Chastain Maneuver". WOW!!!
"The Chastain Wall Slide"
its called "WallRide"
HAIL MELON
Theres an o an manoeuvre (english is fucked)
Ross Chastan is a legend. To this day. Especially doing the impossible.
Best line by Junior...how bad do you want it? That's how bad. Classic.
That might be one of the greatest moves I’ve ever seen in nascar. Or any racing sport
I'm a Chastain fan now!... that was AWESOME!
Yep, I've always been a fan of Ross but he's now my second favourite behind Alex Bowman
@@Chozey motor racing is a sport
That had to be the craziest move I have ever seen
and without taking anyone out unlike Newman 2014
I think it truly is. Big brain Chastain
There's a rule against it now because of this
CHASTAIN IS MY NEW CURRENT FAVORITE NASCAR DRIVER NOW, FROM THAT!!!
That was truly a next gen move.
2022 was an amazing season...
1:13. . .he has no one to pass, he's to far from everybody. . . That escalated quickly
I’ve been watching NASCAR since 1979, and I have never seen anybody do that! Dale Earnhardt is turning in his grave, laughing his ass off!😂❤
Dale would be proud!
1 billion IQ move
Dale sr would be proud of this man
Dale probably would have put him in a Dale Earnhardt Incorporated car
Give Ross Chastain a Nobel Peace Prize in physics
😂
A what lmao
Dang and he won in Phoenix this year!!
HOLY MOTHER!!!!!!🙌🙌🙌
ROSS FOR NASCAR PRESIDENT!!!! 🤣🤣
Every driver is now in disbelief!!!🤣🤣🤣
I am absolutely fascinated by this once in a lifetime moment
That’s what we call in the industry a *pro gamer move*
"Get so close the guardrail that you are barely touching, like a kiss, a smooch, like youre kissing your sister-"
I was here this will be remembered for decades I would do this in a video game but as a joke this is irl
This is greatest racing moment I ever saw in my life!
Have you ever?
I was watching when he did that, and it took a minute to register what I had just seen. I really thought the video feed was messed up. My top 3 dramatic moments, in no order, was that, Carl Edwards running on foot to the finish line, and when Dale Jr got out of his car and ran to check on Steve Park at Watkins Glen after they crashed.
Best thing I’ve ever seen
That's honestly one of the greatest things in Nascar history.
It took Justin Marks a solid 10 seconds to mentally process what just happend
I swear I thought wall riding was illegal 🤣
“THEY GAVE ME FIVE GEARS, AND I USED FIVE GEARS”
Also this was probably the fastest a car has ever gone In Martinsville
1:13 okay Jeff 😂
Never watched nascar in my life but he’s earned my respect
Literally one of those moves thats supposed to only work in video games....like.....how the hell did that wall not collapse, how did that car not ride up the wall.....mind blowing move
NASCAR cars may not be as performing as F1 ones, but they're sturdy enough to allow manoeuvres that would be 100% lethal in a F1 car.
Nascar has much higher average lap speeds than F1.
Yup thats a 20 second penalty for ocon
I did this in Need For Speed III: Hot Pursuit - 25 years ago
Imagine Alan Bestwick calling this. Instead, we get stuck with Rick Allen…
JR had some good comments on it.
Looks like there will be a new racing line at Martinsville. 2 to go everyone will be doing this. Brilliant move though.
Massive balls of steel, and immense talent, pulling that move.
A year later and I'm still seeing It. .
That was a 1000 IQ move Ross Chastain did right there!
It was a “nothing to lose” gamble. It happened to work. He deserves credit for guts and coolness under pressure. But this is not the work of genius that you are making it out to be.
Looks like he was playing a lot of Gran Turismo 4 before becoming a Nascar driver
Lots see this and think whatever not knowing how fast and precise you have to be to drive NASCAR let alone attempt this crazy move
The initial D move 😱
Night Kids lol
“How bad do you want it? That bad.” What a fucking move
"I'm can't believe what I'm watching Bob" dude pulled a carl Edwards but actually made it work
LAST LAP WINNER CHRISTOPHER BELL 🔔

“A seventh generation watermelon farmer…” is the best racing quote of all time.
Slingshot....engaged
feels like he was playing Gran Turismo irl
NFS:Underground
Wow I’ve never seen anything crazier
Respect 💪
I know a guy years ago back in the '80s did this dirt track racing that's a old dirt track car trick
good god I still love this, and Chastain won me over just for that. if he never wins another race, I'll still be a fan. just unbelievably ballsy move.
Did he set a track record doing that? I think they said he did. Modifeds and Sprint cars have run there which are faster than Stock Cars on a half mile, though maybe this was faster than them.
Yes he did. By like .05 over a modified
Technically the fastest lap is an 18.6 by Greg sacks. However, it is a track record for cup cars by about .045 or something like that. I believe the last one was an 18.9 something
@@zerabidotter1755 oh I saw somewhere that it was faster than that, like full track record
May not be the hero we need, but he sure as hell is the one we deserve, now go win this Championship.🍉🍉🍉
Chastain raced how I used to race on Nascar Thunder 2003. I never thought I'd live to see that come to life. 😮
So awesome lol
The fun of it all is that it really works! Who would have thought that videogame move would work really well in real life... The first one to try it, without knowing what would happen. Just going for all or nothing!
Epic move.
Dud that’s insane!!!!!! 🤯🤯🤯😀
That's a NASCAR 2005: Chase for the Cup type of move
Jesus and His angels were in that move. Chastain is the man of faith. Amen!
My boy went try hard in real life 😂
LETS GO CHASTAIN
Keslowski . . . Who hit me!?!?
This is NUTS!...
That's right there with anything Dale Earnhardt did back in the day
they should make small wheels on the side of the car especially for wallrides
every day, every highly competitive sport, every play. " how bad do you want it ?" - Dale Earnhardt Jr.
I’m remembering how unexpectedly good bricoe was, nearly made the champ 4
That was insane that is a move that every troll player does on heat 5 let’s goooooo chastain I hope he wins the championship
Can’t believe wtf I saw lmao
Clearly, this man has played Mario Kart
Best move ever
Christopher bell win playoff
What the heeeeeellll!
Ross "The Boss" Chastain!
such an amazing move that they had to ban it
denny hamlin moved a bit when chastan went at him because he was surprised bro
Wow Ross
First time a pilot destroyed a car and all the mechanics are happy
Cars are replaceable, that glory only happens once.
My 63year old ass just saw the pass of a lifetime. That is the highest IQ move I have ever seen.
_"The tiebreaker goes to Chastain."_
That's impressive that he outperformed Denny stat-wise considering Trackhouse isn't as good of a team as Gibbs.
Ross chastain baby
Me at 12 years old playing Gran Turismo 10 minutes in
Also me at 14 years old 800 hours in
Ross is the 🐐
Lol me in GTA
Rubbing's racing...walls included 😃
Christopher Bells wins his 4th career Cup series race.
This is Bell's first career Cup series win at Martinsville Speedway.
This is the 57th time the #20 has won in the Cup series.
Anime move right there
