People who tell reactors to watch these episodes in dub are basically calling you stupid. There is no need to switch to dub for these. The fandom had one bad experience with an idiot reactor(s) and then assumes everyone else will have the same problems. It’s an insult by low expectations.

Post-episode discussion. Amusing how many of their speculations can be answered with, "Yes, but No." 4:25 "Hardening is something they learned." No. For reiner, that's his special ability. For Annie, spoiler For Eren, he swallowed the "armor" serum. Beast can't do hardening, neither can colossal or Ymir's titan. Haven't seen the quadruped enough to have an opinion based on the anime.
Beast can also do hardening. He started doing it a few episodes back when Levi stomped him. check it out if you don't believe me. meaning Beast must have taken the 'armour' serum also... Also, Reiner has a line of dialogue, 'we can't let someone who mastered hardening in 2 months...' Meaning, it's known for them to experiment n learn other titan features through serum n training. Reiner doesn't need to learn, coz that's his main feature, yes.

yeah it's not like the dub is bad. it feels off because we're so used to the excellent japanese dub but the english dub has the best voice actors in the business, doing a pretty solid job
Generally I disagree. If a channel does sub reactions and then switch to dub for two episodes ... that's reason for complaint for me. However, this channel has done dub before AND they've given a heads up, so I think that even if you don't like it you have to accept it. That being said, I'm not going to watch these reactions still. And of course I'm a bit sad they didn't stick to sub.

While I agree that it's stupid to complain about their choice to react to the dub here, I think the last part of your comment was unnecessary 1. "Just go watch other reaction channels" is such a non-argument because each channel and reaction series is different. Content creators aren't just interchangeable cutouts, they're real people who all have unique thoughts and theories and ways of enjoying the things they engage with. If someone is enjoying a specific channel because of their reactions, then it's stupid to just tell them to go watch something else, since they'd get a different experience, and it can especially be difficult or at least annoying to even find another good one if they've already watched through most of the popular ones like I have. The entire point of reaction content, and also a lot of other types of popular content on UA-cam for that matter, is that you're watching to see the personality of the person on-screen. Otherwise, what would be the point of watching someone reacting at all? I could just rewatch the show myself at that point. Of course, I'm not saying that each one is gonna provide some brand new, life-changing experience, but some are definitely more enjoyable than others and it's reasonable for someone to prefer one over the other. 2. No, not "every other reaction channel watches it in sub". Ignoring the fact that there are obviously channels who have straight up watched the entire show dubbed, I have specifically seen some channels who do this exact same thing, where they decide to watch only this episode in the dub. It makes sense for some people to do this too if the idea that fans often suggest to do this is accurate. Maybe it isn't the majority, but it's still common enough to mean that your statement is wrong.
In the dub, Mikasa says “there’s writing on the back” when talking about the picture, but in the original, she says “that’s Dr. Jeager’s handwriting”. Not only making it clear that the man in the picture is Grisha, but it’s also a small display of Mikasa’s closeness to Grisha, since she recognized his handwriting. There was literally no reason whatsoever to change the dialogue. This is one of the many reasons why dub is trash
The next season is more complex than this, but please watch it all on the sub because a lot of scream and rawr things happen, so watch in sub is so much experience but you can rewatch it on dub.
Im sure you wont but dont listen to the sub weebs lmao, there are 500 sub reactions on youtube and only a handful of dub. Its absolutely criminally slept on. Not sure how an english speaker could hear levis voice and possibly say this is bad 🤣 just wish you wouldve swapped a few episodes ago with levi vs the beast in 3x17 in dub, the echos and reverb done on the voices make the fight 10x better than the OG! Unfortunate youll be swapping back but its understandable

アルミンの声が全然キャラクターに合っていませんね。小柄で高い声で幼い印象というコンプレックスと知性の高さというギャップがアルミンの特徴なのに、それが台無し。ハンジさんの狂人性も全く表現されていない。そしてアルミンに事実を告げるリヴァイ兵長の語りが優しすぎる！リヴァイ兵長のぶっきらぼうな喋り方ゆえの心中の苦しみが表現されていない😢
