I know I would love to live as a bird as well, to be completely free and able to go wherever you want. No wall can contain you. (This is also why we see the cage and Eren breaking out of it as an important theme in the final ED).

It is by far the greatest piece of fiction I've ever watched. Whether it's anime, live adaptation or any other series. It has the greatest plot twists and all. My forever favourite.

@@_para.dox_ I mean AOT takes a similar nosedive once the rumbling begins with how bad the writing gets. Suddenly all the Marleyans just realize racism is bad, the horrendous final fight without any strategic element where somehow not a single character dies, and just how terrible Eren's writing gets at the end with him barely having a reason he decided to commit genocide with his plan making no sense in the first place since he literally lets the Marleyan soldiers who hate Paradis live but kills countless millions of innocent people. AOT falls off just as hard as GOT does it just doesn't do it as early because Game of Thrones sucks seasons 5-8 while AOT doesn't until the last few episodes which while make it better feels even more jarring. the ending of AOT feels like they decided they wanted Eren to try and kill the rest of the world but couldn't think of a single reason he would actually do that or why he would only kill the majority of the world so they just pretended like it made sense all along
It's great, but I got Avatar last Airbender over it for the simple fact that it's so damn well put together. I was getting so damn confused in season 3 for AOT. But that epic fights towards the end saved it for me. DBZ is my favorite anime, but AOT is definitely amazing a top 3 fiction

about the "eyes" thing that you mentioned, through season 1-3 AOT was produced by WIT Studios, then season 4 till the finale was produced by mappa with a completely different staff, so maybe thats why you noticed a difference :)
Btw i recomend you to watch all the seasons in the bluray version, SPECIALLY season 4, in 2020 with covid going on Shueisha only gave 8 months for mappa to animate 16 episodes in S4P1, so they strugled a lot and only were able to fix things in the bluray version, so its gonna be a way better experience for you.
The Blu Ray is necessary for season 1 too since in the tv release some episodes were not even finished, missing entire cuts of animation that were then added in the Blu Ray. However for season 2 and 3 there are barely any changes for some reason. Like there is a guy who does videos on the blu ray changes and the season 1 one is 1 hour and 30 minutes long while the season 2 and 3 ones are barely 10 minutes each.
Honestly I think mappa did an amazing job adapting the art, barely notice a difference between 1-3 and 4

There's literally nothing that tops Attack on Titan. I know a lot of people think the story went downhill in the Final Season and some didnt like the ending. But regardless the show as a whole is actually insane...

Its not talked much but this anime is a representation of ww2. It has talked about racism, war and how humans never will stop frighting against eachother.

AOT is PEAK like PEAK PEAK u should watch it i have watched around like mabey 10 animes so far and this one is the best one i have ever seen. The story itself is sooooo good and the mucik and the intense battles. Its is rlly peak it rlly is.

Man i would recommend you do the endings too but don't look at any of the visuals or else just do the endings after completing the show whichever fits you
So the only real openings that are in the show are the first 7. The 8th "opening" included is an official amv for the ending song of the second to last episode. The last one is an official opening made for the final chapters, however it's youtube exclusive. You can tell that the person who uploaded the video is probably not a big aot fan, as they even spelled the name of the show wrong.
That anime is worth it, although many criticize it. It's not that it's the best in the world, but it's well done. There are things that, like everyone else, I didn't like, but when I remember it in those openings, I can say that it was epic to see it, although the first season starts very slowly.
