We’ll be back to Sub soon!! There was definitely a lot to take in so be a little patient if we get some things wrong 😅. We eventually get there! But this is NOT the direction at all we thought this show was going in. It changes everything!
I think you guys did great! I like that you rewatch so your discussion is better. I think everyone had a hard time predicting where this show was going to go which is why it's so fun to watch people try to make sense of what they are seeing then have their mind blown away by what it actually is. lol
22:40, so at this point we have seen 8 of the nine titans: - Armor (Reiner) - Colossal (Armin, previously Bertholdt) - Female (Annie) - The titan that our Ymir had - Beast (Zeke, your speculations are right, and the Beast's name was also confirmed to be Zeke in s03e15) - The ducklike titan (not yet known who it is) - The titan that the Owl is in possesion of - The Founding titan (passed down in the royal family until Grisha stole it and then passed it down to Eren)
25:18 "Zeke is part royal blood, part eldian." All royal blood is also eldian. He's 50% royal blood and 100% eldian. 27:07 "They live on a little island." It's a HUGE island. just the area within the walls is bigger than texas. It's possible the map has the scale of the island wrong. I think the writer didn't calc the area within the walls and wound up putting it on an island that's actually smaller that the area in the walls. You'll see a bigger map later in the series and might figure out what island that is. Reiner is of the Eldian RACE and a warrior of the Marley NATION. Armin learned about the ocean from the old book, not from his parents. Most of the Eldian conspirators you'll recognize as a titan from s1. Yes, that was Santa titan that swallowed Eren. Here's one that was prominent as it caught and ate one of Eren's team. 16:19
Basically, you don't need to take notes for this show. Instead, just keep your eyes on the screen, watch and listen to everything. That's the right way to watch "Attack on Titan."
There's nothing wrong with taking notes. But for AoT it's better to do it after the episode or during rewatch... It's mighty important to keep eyes on the screen n gulp in every line...bcoz the story is a visual narrative also, it has come into play already, will come to for them in the future...
@@VOd15 This is the result of watching many reaction videos "objectively". Because the act of writing generally misses the images, conversations, and context. Of course, this is not mandatory, it's just a suggestion.
Depends.. for me, the right way is to pause every 5 seconds and read carefully; for others, it's to rewatch the episode like 5 times.. for some, it's to watch explanation videos on youtube.. the method doesn't matter as long as they enjoy it
@@Nauma3 Of course, everyone can enjoy AOT in their own way. However, pausing every 5 seconds is not recommended for a reaction video. I also recommend watching the episode several times, but when posting a reaction video, I would be happy if the version focuses on the screen as much as possible. Because as a reaction video, I want to enjoy the reaction purely, not take notes. Of course, notes will be very useful for confirmation, consideration, and discussion. However, I don't go to the movies and take notes. AOT is certainly long, with 94 episodes in total, but it's basically a 24-minute program. Given the nature of AOT, I don't think it's a good idea to look away. Again, my opinion is just one opinion, and the distributor has the right to decide how to watch it.
We early today, nice. A detail I love about this episode is that all the titans we saw today were the titans that killed Eren's squad all the way back in season1 episode 5, you already realized it about the "Santa titan" and Dina, but the rest of them were there too, nost noticeable being the titan that ate the Marleyan officer cuz it already appeared twice: once when it killed Mina Carolina (the black haired girl with the braids from Eren's squad) and the second time was in the supply HQ when they used the guns to blind them and then dropped from the cieling, that was the titan Sasha failed to kill and then apologized to. Anyways! This episode will forever remain one of my favorite episodes as one of the episodes that changed EVERYTHING
All the characters we have seen this far are Eldians. The only Marleyans you have seen are police that arrested Ymir in her backstory. And they threw her from that same wall as a pure titan. So all pure titans we have seen are just Eldian prisoners of Marley who they punished. Also the injection is a titan spinal fluid. So when they take spinal fluid of 3-4 meters, it probably creates similar titan. Also if you didn’t get it, Eldians only turn into titans. Marleyans even with injection won’t turn The king that fled was 108 years ago, it was probably great grandfather of Rod Reiss.
I liked that you rewatched and I suggest rewatching these episodes anyway as there is a lot to take in. They mentioned that the Marlyans recruited Eldians to be the titans to fight for them. So they are not descendants but specially picked warriors. I saw a theory that the way the intelligent titans need to have a goal in mind to transform, that when eldians are transformed into pure titans if they had a particular goal in mind, they might actually follow it and that's why Dina came to Eren's house for Grisha. And why the titan in Iles Notebook behaved strangely and why there may be abnormals in general. And a side joke that some were probably drunk and that's why they walk in those funny ways. lol. Just a theory though. Thanks for reacting.
As much as I love subbed ver it really doesn't matter which ver they choose y'all... It's not like everyone who watched in sub or dub caught every detail in their first watch 😂 let them breathe...
King reice’s father wasnt the king that fled. Somewhere it says “80 years ago the king erected 3 walls.” and his father was not that old. It was probably his grandfather or great grandfather. In present time, its 100 years ago, so this episode mainly takes place 20 years ago.
ymir fritz mentioned in this episode, the founder, is not the same ymir from the other seasons. In ymirs backstory, it shows that she was taken in to a cult and they forced her to pretend to be the reincarnation of ymir fritz.
You can take help from community if you don't understand this information dump , it's imp as well as interesting , the true beauty of aot has already started
They explained that they switched to the dub so they wouldn't miss important information in these few episodes. They explained that in the last video. Pay attention please.
YOOO IM HYPED YALL ARE DOING SOME OF IT DUBBED!! Theres a great video that compares the best speeches/moments in sub vs dub and its great. Sub is still amazing I know but dub has some wins. I wouldnt recommend checking that video out until all of aot is finished though

I got a question for the both of you.Would you be interested in doing a reaction series of yugioh in chronological order

His name was Zeke...
Is ThAt ReInEr????😱
That was wikd 😂
They were, of course, talking over the quadruped Titan calling the beast "Zeke " the first time, so the name means nothing.
The Ymir we know is not the Ymir from the old story. Eldian Ymir is from 2000 years ago

Correct, Karl Fritz (King 145 Eldian) is great grandfather of Reiss Family.
They changed their last name "Fritz" Into "Reiss" for safety reason.

Grice: then how do you know what the ancient text says
Grisha: source is I made it up
"That day" refers to the day we all had to go back and rewatch the episode.
You missed the duck looking Titan😜, even that is an intelligent Titan part of 9
Switching to dub for these episodes so that you "don't miss anything" is a tragedy. Who the fuck suggests to do that
even in dub they missed a lot of things imagine in sub
the only episode that acceptable to watch in dubbed bc the revealed for Owl was perfect. i prefer subs myself but this ep is an exception.

Who ever is telling these reactors who are new to anime to watch these episodes in dub is doing them dirty same thing happe ed with badd medicine
In this case both these channels obviously need it. Even in English they are lost.
@Ason19 their problem is thinking too much about taking notes

hahaha It's normal to be confused in this last episodes of season 3. I really like your reaction guys it's related to me when first time watching😂
Well, the next episode... 🤯
Such a good episode, you guys cooked also
😂😂well.. 17:00
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH 0:09
eldians and marlyians are two different races not families
Getting out of track, dude
Japanese please
They explained that they switched to the dub so they wouldn't miss important information in these few episodes. They explained that in the last video. Pay attention please.

nah dub is horrid
@roboket3524 the only part of the dub I can't stand is Erens Titan scream
@@Mister_Matthew I can’t stand every voice

@@Nocti3635 are you japanese. can you even tell what accents they have?
great reaction!
Was so ready to watch until I heard the dub. Cya
