You always set us straight, Soi Pothole + gents clubs will do nicely for anyone wanting to enjoy a month or more in the area. Sure, one can enjoy the pricier places, as long as they've got the talent available. It's all sorting out, now if we can get flight prices back to reality the end of the year into next should be full speed ahead.
Great Vlog Daz! Yes, Pothole and 6 are the spots. And apparently Tree town is the new Coconut bar. I enjoy a drink or 2 in Kink, Windmill, and Ladylove but would never BF from there. Amon's will be a great hang out place. You continue to be one of the best sources of Pattaya info around, keep it up brother!
Stayed in Pothole for 6 weeks earlier this year, enjoyed every minute of it, cant wait to get back in October, thanks Daz
Stayed on Pothole last month. Maggie’s, dive, Amon, visited them all. Great times and low prices. Highly recommend Dive bar, the ladies were super and a lot of fun.
So with all these great little bars and with ST rooms available upstairs and the talent going for 1000 baht, it appears that Pothole is a bit more modest, though revamped version of Soi 6. Nice wrap up on the overall pricing on drinks and fun for that soi. No doubt, with each passing week and month as more tourists arrive with the fazing out of Covid requirements, the popularity of Pothole has to be on the increase. Thanks for taking the time to share these developments.
Great videos, wish you would've posted more of this content a few weeks ago, the video you did of the agogo prices around Pattaya made me almost rethink my trip entirely. I've pushed it back a few months but still going for sure. Thank you for the information and your work.
Excellent Video Darren, with all the talk of rip off prices etc its great that you let your viewers know that there are plenty of fairly priced options around . Bars, restaurants, hotels and the girls have offer value to make up for the higher air line costs that are hurting tourists. PS . good to finally meet you on Friday!

👍🏻👍🏻’s up! I went into Honey 2 Body Massage on 2nd road and here are the following prices: Red 2,200 Blue 2,700 M 3,300 V 3,900 S 4,600. All the talent was respectfully old / scratch & dent. Very disappointing 😢
Another spot on video Daz, i still think 150 (£3.50) LD is far too much for a shot of water or cola downed in 5 secs! These girls are all about revenue through LD's as oppose to BF, clearly more easier and encouraged by bar owners!! I just dont think it will ever return back to the glory dayz, sad.
PS wait for next peak season - Dec 2022 prices all over will sky rocket to oblivion, when all restrictions are lifted and global mongerz return in their zillions with wods of pent up cash, and ready to ring that bell, garanteed!! 🤣😂🤣

good to see wanwan is back, he used to have the bar at the top of the poon next to the tomboy bar. Was quite popular. i think he's still got the same furniture.
Excellent video Darren, we enjoyed that. Soi Chaiyapoon (Pothole) is my local area in Pattaya as I have a condo just over the opposite side of third road. I used to like going into Maggie Mays for a pint of Guinness but am banned for there since it became a gents club 5555. I like the Triangle Bar and like others on here, I liked to perch up there and watch the goings on across the road in Amon. Defaqto was another little hangout, I also wanted to check out the Assienda but it was not open during our last trip in early February. We did go to the dive bar, I like the dude running it but it was very smokey inside. I don't BF any more so don't even really know what the prices are but food (especially Thai food) and drink is still very reasonable in Pattaya. I really miss the old SMiT, that was my favorite area.

Saved my holiday in September Daz, Ive been following a few of these on FB but didnt know the prices so great thank you. Dive bar looks amazing and the line-up is as good as anywhere on LK or WS. Only staying in Lengkee so perfect for me LOL

Hi Darren, Last time i was in Soi Pothole was about 3 years ago, and they wanted 1200bht for a bar fine, 800 after 12, so no business was done.
Don't know if all the bars was doing it, but put me off a bit, must re-visit.
Any more low budget nice condos coming up?

sigh--I've watched so many of your videos, Daz, I feel like I could probably find my way around there alone much more quickly than if I hadn't--and I've never been to Pattaya. As I constantly intone, I doubt I'll ever get to that lovely little seaside paradise as I doubt my wife would consider it a destination, but we'll for sure visit Thailand again in the next several months--cheers.

Thanks for that Daz. I must admit the only bar I ever drank in on Pothole was the Triangle bar, 2 for 1 pricing, and a good place to perv on the massage girls across the road. However, with all these new bars opening and at decent prices, I can see myself crawling up and down there. Keep up the good work, I always look forward to your videos.

@@wbev_thai1666 I suppose you could say 2 for a slightly overpriced one, but nevertheless not a bad deal at all. Just imo could do with varying the music selection a little. Having said that it probably suits the 2 week visitor demographic

Yes there was for a time three places doing this 2 for 1, namely Billabong, Climax and Triangle all roughly in the same area. Trouble is once you got familiar with the same nightly repetitive entertainment at these places I was often ready to move on as I finishing the first drink so would ask for it not opened so I could take with instead.
About september before things get back to normal as far as crowds go
That's my favourite soi in pattaya. I've stayed at the English Rose, eaten everyday at the seaside. And St at loads of bars. Every thing you need in one soi. More going on there than the whole of London. Man it's boring and so overpriced in london.ps I recommend the Thai restaurant at the end on the right, very good food and cheap 👌

150 lady drinks is very high when they were 100bt 4 yrs ago and 80bt 7 yrs ago.

Do you have a map or a list of street names with their corresponding nicknames? So far I've been able to cross reference the street names people say with what bars are on the street, but there are still quite a few that I don't know. Thanks, and great videos!

look for Karaoke Bars , with multi-coloured lights outside . That's where Thais go . You can go there too , rate is higher than farang establishments .

Hi Daz,thank you for an informative videos. Kudos 👌👌. Talking about higher prices, historically it cannot continue to stay high for long due to the inflation worldwide. In my opinion, the supply is always higher than the demand in Thailand. Hence, it is a matter of time only. During the high season pre Covid era in 2019, it was already relatively quiet due to lack of enough falang but the supply was somewhat plentiful at a reasonable cost which equated much lower than what we seeing today. I guess things will stabilize soon for the better.

Another to the point vlog 👌. The only place that seems to buck the pricing on the Soi is High Rollers, but I am not sure what they are trying to be anyway. Will certainly be an all action area anyway for just about everything, especially with the 2 new clubs opening a spit away on Buakhao. Almost all your requirements within a stones throw.
