so i've been a Sarah fan since I was a child but I never actually listened to anything she did past Afterglow. I fell off following her music but still listened to what I knew. So this is my first time hearing this song and I REALLY like this song. I know, I'm seven years too late lmao.
I learned an important lesson from this. Inside every monster is a star. And inside every star is a monster. Eventually, Sarah McLachlan will save us by being eaten by the monster so she can wear that monster like a housecoat. But beware! When she takes off that monster housecoat, she will need dental work because that is the price of fame.
For a fan that has been moved by her music and lyrics since the age of 17, attending one of her concerts, is truly magical. I was finally able to see her in Baltimore this year, and man....I cried like a bitch. I wish I was able to meet her, but she ran off real quick. Great memory, forever.
