How to make a pair of compasses!

In this video I'm making a large compass from reclaimed hardwood. My way to do it is not is necessarily the best one but is works for me!

Great build. If I may allowed to suggest the illumination is from opposite side thus the clarity of you video had gone down. And seems to have been taken on very low pixels

What?! I never knew that "harppi" is a compass in english. I tought it was a harp. I was wondering how that thing can point to the north and south poles. :P :D
