IMHO "Hole In My Heart" is Rick Springfield's best song ever. The guitar riff is brief but one of the best of Rick's music genre. I swear lightning came out of Rick's fingers when he first wrote and recorded said riff, and every time he plays it. Rick Springfield is my favorite singer/performer/entertainer of all time. Not only because of his looks, though that's a given, he possesses pure raw talent. Rick Springfield is God's gift to the world that just keeps on giving.
U know u make a good point and the thing about Rick and other "special"artists like him is, he came to America just a young guy and didn't have superstardom for 10 more years but never gave up. All those ups n downs would send most anyone packing but not him, he kept going and look what finally happened for him, Superstardom. Special dude there.
