- Netanyahu’s right-wing government is starving the Palestinian people.
On top of its indiscriminate bombardment, Israel is imposing onerous restrictions to block the delivery of essential humanitarian aid.
The U.S. must use all of its leverage to end this horrific war.
This all happens with our tax money ( American taxpayers money). We need to wake up and stand up to our corrupt politicians who only answer to their masters. We Americans have a responsibility here, we’re directly responsible for the suffering of these innocent children.
Israel isn't attacking children. Hamas is using children as human shield, the children they teach to hate and kill Jews.

I disagree. We WOULD be responsible if our leaders respected and represented us, which they fail to do. By and large, they represent, and respond, to big money instead. And nothing makes money like the war machine, and the weapons we sell. Thank god for Bernie and the few who do good.

Do you know we killed 300,000 civilians in Iraq/Afghanistan war? So Its okay for us to kill civilians, but not for Israel? Maybe if Hamas would have allowed people to leave, there wouldn't be as many casualties... Maybe if they weren't using them as human shields, there wouldn't be as many.. Israel believes that out of the numbers (25k) released by Hamas, at least 15k are Hamas fighters included in those numbers... SO it seems to me that Israel is trying its hardest to keep the civilian casualties to a minimum.

Other corrections, the UN says only ONE PERCENT of needed aid is getting through to Gaza, not 25%. Israel is controlling the Egyptian border crossing and is rejecting any truck that contains even ONE ITEM they deem unacceptable. Then the whole truck must be repacked and try again. Often food is spoiling at the border before it can even make it to the people who are starving.
This is deliberate as the lust for land and oil over rides humanitarian concerns of Isreal.

They nearly overthrew the Jordanian gov in the 1970s, made trouble in Lebanon in the 1980s when Lebanon was a beautiful country, and of course Egypt is mindful. I don't blame it. It could, however, let them into Sinai temporarily as a transit zone so they can exit to other countries, but I guess it's too scared that they'll never leave. Egypt even refused to take their womenfolk and kids,, even their wounded. And that given that they were its rightful citizens in the past.

I'm with you. What's happening is utterly treacherous. And this may breed an entirely new strain of Middle Eastern terror by the young Palestinians. These children will be ripe for induction due to the severe pain they are enduring. They have lost their educational plans making them valuable to terrorists. We have only to look at the result of U.S. involvement in the Middle East since the war in Kuwait and up to the supposed "War on Terror" by the Bush Administration.
The aid is for stability in the region (i.e. the US military outpost of Israel), not the decimation of the palestinian people. That is on Netanyahu and the zionists.

What decides whether something is or isn't genocide is the genocide convention. Some aspects of it may be fulfilled in this instance, the rhetoric of some Israeli leaders might support such a charge, that *has* to be investigated. To disregard that there are signs that it may be occurring (such as a population being targeted as a whole or what I mentioned above) is reckless and wrong.
It is also widely accepted by history scholars now that the targeting of civilian areas in WW2 and subsequent wars had the opposite effect from the desired breaking of morale and that it was likely in the end entirely unimportant to defeating the enemy. Not to mention that allied leaders were not half-openly calling for the erasure of all Germans and Germany.

Wrong not 1200. A fair portion of those citizens were indiscriminately killed by the IDF. Not to say the attack wasn't an issue in that. However it is fact that since then the IDF has killed more of their own citizens. There's another issue that doesn't seem to be addressed, and it's in the form of a question. How many of those killed were Israeli settlers who stole Palestinian homes by the force of the IDF and Israeli police? Terrorist? I guess those that fought in their colonization of America were terrorist, and then again as others committed genocide on the American indigenous peoples as they branched out westerly. The indiscrimate use of the word terrorist when talking about oppressed people fighting back is distasteful and a disservice to human dignity.
Even without the question of how many were killed by IDF on October 7, Bernie’s claim of “1200 innocent people” killed is not a claim supported even by mainstream media. It’s generally not disputed that among those 1200 were active military members and legitimate targets, not innocent civilians.
