The defense has been excellent and with the emergence of young guys last year (Aveion Terrel, Khalil Barnes, Peter Woods, and TJ Parker to name a few), the defense looks poised to continue being a top 15 unit (if not potentially better). If everything clicks, this team could be 11-1 or 12-0 (but that’s a BIG IF). Great video though! Definitely have enjoyed hearing about the other teams in the league (except FSU and NC State… can’t stand them).

Getting Clemson at home is huge against us and I like our matchup with them. Cade Klubnik is prone to picks and we happen to have two physical man corners with very good ball skills.
Clearly did little to no research on UVa. Team was eaten alive by the injury bug on both lines early in the season, plus lost starting qb for half the year. Lost key starters to the portal two years in a row. Lost 4 games by three or less and another by a late touchdown. If they figure out how to win the close games and stay healthy they could be anywhere from 5 -7 to 7 - 5. I would say they have a punchers chance in more games this year than last. This will be the first year to really see what direction their Coach Elliot has the team moving. Remember Elliot was Clemson's O.C. and since leaving their offense hasn't been as good, plus he may have influenced Dabo and his decisions on the portal.

It's hard to evaluate VT. Their 2023 statistics are misleading in my opinion. They had one of the easiest schedules in 2023 and it's easy again in 2024. They could reach the ACC championship game based on their schedule, but they may only be the 5th or 6th best team in the ACC.
While true it’s worth noting they had several key injuries and had to completely change their offensive scheme mid season when they went ahead with drones, they’re definitely a wild card but they shoud still be in contention
Va tech is not coming in 2nd in the ACC. Definitely think they go better than 7-5 but not 10-2, or 11-1. There’s just no way. It’ll be Clemson and Miami in the championship game

It's hard to evaluate VT. Their 2023 statistics are misleading in my opinion. They had one of the easiest schedules in 2023 and it's easy again in 2024. They could reach the ACC championship game based on their schedule, but they may only be the 5th or 6th best team in the ACC.
While true it’s worth noting they had several key injuries and had to completely change their offensive scheme mid season when they went ahead with drones, they’re definitely a wild card but they shoud still be in contention
Va tech is not coming in 2nd in the ACC. Definitely think they go better than 7-5 but not 10-2, or 11-1. There’s just no way. It’ll be Clemson and Miami in the championship game

@@kinglocs83 we can both agree that they will be a good team this season. What we can’t agree on is the being 2nd in the ACC. Clemson has the most blue bloods in the ACC and 2 5 star receivers coming in. Miami has the most talent in the ACC and Florida states coach proved what he can do with a transfer portal last season.

If you do your game History Homework on VT, you will eventually find that VT ALWAYS Struggles (at home or on the road) against ANY of those in state/local Rivals (who are ‘Group of Five’ & below… didn’t matter HOW Good VT was Predicted to be) in ‘ODU’, ‘JMU’, ‘Liberty University’ & ‘Richmond University’. Ask VT Fans, they’ll tell ya.

@@Poseidon0077 ODU beat a VT in 2018 which was NOT one of VTs "Best Seasons" .. That was also the same game our QB broke his leg. Ending with only 6 wins and fans ready for Fuente to be gone.
2020 was the other time ODU beat VT.. New and first time HC, new QB, new staff ending with 3 wins.
As for now the record is 3-2 VT in the lead. There's a reason why everyone is high on VT this season. True, we MIGHT fall to a weaker school, but it won't be ODU.

To say Stanford hasn’t been any good for the past ten years is blatantly false. They averaged ten wins from 2015-2018. Though that was a drop off from 2010-2014, when they had four out of five seasons with at least eleven wins, and perennial top ten appearances, you have completely misrepresented how long they’ve been in the current nosedive, which has lasted only the past four years.
