Grew up fishing grand isle in the 70s 80s at a family camp. Camp is gone but memories aren’t! Trout off the second sand bar and crab off the first!

I live up in Shreveport, and my buddy and I have been wanting to go do some redfishing. These guys look like the real deal! Might be booking a trip for the fall when the weather gets a little cooler. Great video!

Did charter capt give the okay to keep an illegal red at the 10:48 min mark?
No this was filmed a few days before the size minimum went from 16 to 18 inches. Before the trip we said since the size limit is changing we might as well only keep 18 inches or better, that’s why we said “if I want to keep it”.
Over fishing come on fellas. 😢
Catching 10 different species of fish and only keeping a limit of one of those species is not overfishing
