This was a morning night in South Florida so I decided to watch some you tube. Usually I’m into watch saltwater out of Fort Lauderdale or the Keys and freshwater out of Okeechobee but for some reason this came on after a bluegill video in Okeechobee. I’m so happy it did too. What a genius idea your stepfather has with the method of catching catfish. Now I lived in Illinois and grew up running bank poles or trot lines on the Rock River. I agree 1000% on how he’s saving the fish population and seeing the eggs in the bucket is proof in the pudding. I just wanted to take a moment to tell him he should run a USA Patton on the idea. It would at least be worth a shot to see what he could do and then take the idea to the Shark Tank. Well done!! Good luck in your retirement cause I think you have a winner here. 👍👏🏻🙌
Great video man. That side of the Lake is like a Bob Ross painting it’s just perfect; definitely recognized most of those spots. Your last video rabbit hunting really brought me back. Reminded me of the days hunting on the Boutte lease with my dad and Teddy.
Love my 450. I have never had a minutes trouble out of mine, once I got the gas port large enough. I had to go up a size on the port. Now she cycles perfectly.
What an amazing man who took you out the process is as amazing. Your video making skills are amazing as well God Blessed us all with this this I’ll be watching many more. I am guessing about your Pa’s age 60. Lived most of it in Alaska our harvest is not nearly as enjoyable. MAN I LOVE THIS. I can only hope you all Love Jesus as I do if so let it known. God Bless you both and Thank you.
This age people think education is from school mostly what one will gain in the school is remembering things not learning as you go making processes better This man your Dad is Genius with an impeccable work ethic. Not many left like this.
Never saw it and I’m from up north and I know it’s not done in Pennsylvania. But I sure ate at the all you can eat catfish places in Florida and Tennessee and Georgia. If you told me about this I’d think you were nuts. Looks like fun I’d give it a shot.
Aww dude tonight I watch your fishing skills but when you said pumpkin and corn... I had to tell you my Mee Ma said thus receipt to me said it's an old Indian dish with sugar
It's been my experience that with catfishthebest tastes come from about 11(12 inc fish taste better than the big one's and it because the bigger fish tastes like mud
I use to do this as a kid with no knowledge I'm our little home pond with my mother's old flower pots..... I'm 41 now I had to be 7 or 8 years old doing this just off of natural common sense.... cool to watch tho
@@fallingtidetv I think I answered my own question. "Game fish may be taken only by pole and line (which includes rod and reel), except as otherwise provided in this guide." Love your videos but it frustrating I’m subscribed with the notification bell on this is the 1st video in months that I get. I just unsubscribed & resubscribed, hopefully I get your future videos. We have a camp on the Vacharie side. The catfish are biting. My neighbor is out there every day. My husband’s not been feeling well so it’s a no go right now. Hopefully he’ll feel better soon
Yes man that's doing it to it in the south I'm 67 yrs old and never seen it done dat way y'all keep it up God bless y'all thanks

Never seen this done. Great way to catch and manage the fishery. I enjoyed it. TY for sharing.
What a cool video, the knowledge this man has is endless. Hopefully the next generation will be taught and carry on.

The saying about catching a fish on your first cast is true, may as well head on back to the house 😂. Hopefully it's big enough to make a samich 🙋♂️

Just make sure it’s legal in your state.

I’ve catfish b4 but never like your stepdad does that is amazing.
I never seen anyone else do this. That’s cool idea
Love it
When you catch the fish what stops you from losing the eggs when you pour the fish in the net
Most of them stay stuck to the inside the bucket
The man who catches fish is very funny
Nah he ain't showing us too much, you gotta put the time in. I saw Stale Kracker doing this with old propane canisters.
It's been my experience that with catfishthebest tastes come from about 11(12 inc fish taste better than the big one's and it because the bigger fish tastes like mud
Nope I have not seen it like that before I just subscribed
I never had seen that before
That line looks like whittled coffee cans
Genius
I seen it before here in Mississippi
Kooling❤

they do this all over the United States. I’ve seen people do it in the lakes in Missouri and I’ll save them do it in ponds in the northern territories
Its like a Noodleing Trot Line . It may be thousands of ways to catch them , but they not doing it like this.
Yeah i was wondering where's the footage of The consumption 😊
THIS IS LIKE TROT LINE FISHING THET I DO IN A RIVER FROM BANK TO BANK WITH WEITS I JUST DO NOT HAVE CAN ORE JUGE FLOETS.
Greetings coming from Indonesia, my friend, healthy greetings to continue to strike senior
Does he sell the fish live or have to filet them?
He filets them
Heard him call that an eel cat. They look like what we call channel cat is it possibly the same thing or not?
Yeah same thing
Yes same thing it is called a ell cat by lots of people in La. My grandfather called them eel cat.
I have never seen it done that way
One thing to mention. Pretty sure your mainline has to be cotton to be legal in Louisiana
In Louisiana it now has to be 8' on each end. Don't hold me to the 8' but I believe that is correct. And this just became law the last couple years.
Who else does this ? Its like Noodling assembly line.
A Catfish who What did he say.😮
You should know that if you are caught with those R R spikes you can get a heavy fine . Robin Frazier liberty texas usa
I don’t care lol
I heard you say this is illegal in Texas but I can't find where it says you can't.
I’d definitely call them

No I have not
Do you need a commercial fishing license ??
Do you donate any of your catch to Feed the Hungry?
No
@@fallingtidetv Why?
@doughuntjr207 If I knew of someone that was starving that I could feed with my catch I’d gladly feed them, I just haven’t come across anyone yet.

I’ll look into it!
