    Where’s part 2 mate? Very interesting upgrade that a lot of Tiger 1050 owners would appreciate. Anyway thank you for your time & effort.

      Sorry for lack of part 2 I filmed it but the data got corrupted but it worked fine ,it spun over faster thru the bigger cables and charged perfect.i sold it a couple of months later.but I have a1050 speed tripple so see if I have same issues with that

      @chrispack3131 it was a great bike just a bit too tall / top heavy especially 2 up the sport would have been better for me

    I have a hot start issue on the 2013 tiger 800..replaced starter, battery and solenoid,tested rectifier and its good.Voltage is going to the battery too,but after driving for a while and then stopping the engine it wont restart it just slowly turns about 2 times,but after about 20 mins it fires up no problem..its a bleedin head wrecker,feel like crushing the damn thing.

      If you going to keep the bike I would do the heavier gauge wire upgrade and upgrade the stator coil for the money it's peace of mind.

      @@peteramberley9952 thats just the thing,the stator reads all the proper volts when tested whilst running engine..i cant think of anything else that could be causing the problem..bought it online from Doncastor 3 y ago and didn't even put 200 miles on it but it did have 40k km when i bought the shit.

      Yes it was fine after .the cables obviously helped and it was charging.#happy days

      @@peteramberley9952 thanks for confirming as I have a similar problem on my 2009 Tiger 1050. Interestingly i get the same issue when jump starting from a car battery. Also has a new battery... will try replacing the regulator next.

      @leew8164 you have to becarefull jumping it or starting it on a low voltage as it damages the starter sprag clutch
