Why is the volume always at a whisper?
If Phil Leotardo worked at a liquor store, he would ID check everyone under the age of 55
When everyone is “just a kid” they have no business being in a liquor store
I swear to god man I hired this guy to work in a supermarket years ago. When I was on break I came to buy a pack of cigarettes and he gave them to me, as I was about to pay he asked me if I had ID, i thought he was joking but naw he was genuinely that stupid. He then snatched the cigarettes out of my hand and said he couldnt serve me without ID. He used to do a lot of stupid shit but he was a by the book kind of guy so I couldnt even fire him, I ended up transferring him to another store.
@Mike--Oxmall yeah I remember 15 years ago bars in Chicago were so afraid of getting a ticket they'd card everyone even old people in wheelchairs and shit...same with tobacco products some places won't sell unless you provide a ID "to scan" I just walk out it's marketing b.s. to get your name and address.

@@maylabrown4584 His coach turned into uh pumpkin hehe
You took the whole punchline outta my comment post!!
Man, Butchie was such a sinister character. He was like the devil on Phil's shoulder, egging him on and enabling his worst tendencies while Albie tried to keep them in check. I think Tony knew as much in the hospital, he looks genuinely disturbed
Gotta hand it to Borko....he's keeping us in butter brickle with these uploads.
We wanted Vipers wine but we compromised

Yeah, but that's because Tony never really had the makings of a varsity friend
In the end he took a trip to Belize.
LMFAO 🤣
I like how when Phil's in a good mood, he's able to make sure he spares Johnny Sac the stress of getting his share of the cut
Phil was such a good kid he managed to become friends with Tony

No matter how reasonable these mobsters can be at times, they’ll always make a stupid decision later on to revert back everything that they had managed to accomplish so far.

Yeah he did. Richie had the same effect
He got them mansion lamps.
Same as Ritchie.
This was when Uncle Philly was honored to be joined by men
That hospital scene is phenomenal acting. If only Phil and Tony stayed mutual. They could’ve worked together but stupidity got in the way
Losing his brother really took Phil past the point of no return. His prison stint, Johnny Sack’s alocution, it all became too much for him.
He was in prison?

That last part where Tony says “alright chill out doc” LMAOOOOO
Phil is remarkably calm. He must have practiced yoga when he spent 20 years in da can.
This footage is incredibly rare but it doesn't contain what a lot of Sopranos scholars search for, which are the barely mentioned moments where it's revealed that Phill, in fact, did 20 years. 😂
That’s a myth , like Atlantis. Slander, if you ask me
Although not verbally mentioned in this scene, it’s heavily implied that Phil did 20 years in the can
@@odeleon24 Atlantis, isn't that cold medicine?
In another universe, Phil and Tony would be best of friends.
And bitter enemies with Johnny Sack
They did seem to get along very well, for a short while. Phil actually seemed reasonable until he lost Billy.
@@shriharihudli8596 Yes, and that it is huge turning point in the series...
@@shriharihudli8596he lost Billy in S5. In S6 he is acting boss and seems to mostly get along with Tony. I don't think he blamed Tony for Billy dying. Phil knows they do horrible things in their line of work and Angelo was very close to Tony B, and Tony B. acted alone.
@@StepUpMedia039Then Doc Santoro killed his protégé, Gerry Torciano, and he lost it all over again. Even then, he came close to making peace with Tony until Little Carmine brought up Billy's death and reverted everything

That’s a fckin score!
Dat animal Cineranter, I can't even watch his channel.
Don't do it to yourself Philly

Tony was naïve rooting for Phil over Doc. Doc might not have respect for anyone but it's better than a man who harbors a personal grudge against you rooted in grief and an unsatiated desire for revenge.
All Tony cared about was money. Two of his best rackets light over 10% each week? Doc is stealing whatever the fuck he wants knowing Tony won't, and can't, do shit about it.
"Uncle Philly my ass!" ~ A. House
I honeslty love how uncomfortable Butchie made Tony. I can't think of another character that ever produced that look from Tony. Even when he had the gun to his face at Coco's, it looked like it took more courage for Tony to point the gun at him than Butchie to show while being threatened.
“Easy on the years in a can sweetheart I already did 20”
Not a lot of scraps in Phil’s scrapbook, a ballet costume that’s his legacy.

"Starting to grow mushrooms out my ass" has so much more meaning in later seasons with Vito.
If you rewatch the series once Vito comes in the show the signs that he’s gay are all over
"I want this guy bleeding from his ass, Skip" Vito after Mustang Sally beat up his brother.

In the series finale Tony actually defended Phil in the meet with Butchie and says it wasnt all Phil's fault they went to war.
