Yes Linda so very true!!!!! Waylon was 4 real the original best Country outlaw of our time. What a badass, a true inspiration that was 4 real and wasn't afraid to show cuz thts how Waylon Jennings rolled. His voice and him being one of the best guitar pickers of our time will always be in our hearts and minds because thse songs he wrote, recorded and sang were about what he lived that connected him and relate with his fans. His very hot looks, his voice and him picking his guitar we will always remember. We sure miss Waylon!!!!!
I named my daughter Amanda after hearing Waylon's song which was 30 years ago. My boyfriend and I just broke up and I returned to Waylon's songs to help me get through it and I love his music even more today. Thanks to UA-cam, I can hear a lot that I didn't before! RIP Waylon, you will live forever!
Hello 👋 Joanne. How are you doing? Hope you're fine. I'm Zack Hudson and am from Denver Colorado. Where are you from? You seem like a real country girl
Yeah, clearly not a virtuoso, but criminally underrated as a guitarist. His style was to deliberately stay in the background. Like he's just Waylon's guitar player, there to make the real stars - Waylon and the song he's singing# - look good.
This reminds me of my youth. My mom and stepdad used to listen to Waylon on the 8-track in our Lincoln Continental Mark 5. Those were good times. Waylon is gone 20 years already. His music is very much alive.
1976, I heard Waylon for the first time because I was just a teenager out in the country and my sister came home in her VW beetle and it had an eight track tape, Waylon Live, and I pushed it in, and I was astonished and a fan forever more. Hardly a day goes by I don’t listen to a lot of Waylon and pretty much only Waylon, Here in the year 2023.
I am mostly a Rock fan but I Love this crazy man .I just love him his music .This world lost one of its best Rymer and singer of songs . It doesn't hurt he was the best looking SOB to come out of The country scene I only regret I was to young to see him.
He sure was w/out a doubt. Seen him on david letterman years ago. Letterman asked him "what do you call your music"? Waylon replied "Waylon's music" Never be anothet one like him. Miss ya Waylon
How Awesome is this. I saw the Highwaymen in 92 when I was 21 Waylon left a big impression on me that won’t ever go away. Absolute Legend Waylon Jennings well never see his like again✌️
Today Burt Reynolds passed away,I"ll never forget in "Smokey and the Bandit",when he asked Sally Fields,"do you know who Waylon Jennings is"? It was a little test for her to see if the 2 of them would be compatable.
Man Waylon was the epitome of cool! I really enjoy this stuff such a great voice! I love my Classic Rock and Hard Rock but there's just something about this old Whiskey Drinking but Kickin country western!R.I.P Waylon!
I love it, what a presence on the stage. Must have been high as hell to stumble on the lyrics and then completely forget what song he was doing, but them sounds, Damn!!! This was real..
I walk around with three or four hundred songs in my head. That's true of any singer. He just forgot the damn words. It always happens again, and it's always a surprise.
Same thing I thought! 😂 Still killed it, after literally killing it! What a performer! Guys like old Waylon are still out there. Just not gonna hear them on the radio! Gotta keep yer ear to the ground to find them, but they’re out there!
I have loved Wayllon since I discovered him in the late 70s! He's the man, miss you Wayllon! One day I will meet you in Paradise!!! Dixie Lee Hendricks

This is one performer I regret so very much that I never had the opportunity to see him in concert he was one of a kind it a true warrior and country music
The coolness level of this is off the charts! what a trip this song and a legit boss this guy. I see now where the character from red dead redemption comes from, it's Waylon Jennings! Lead the way mr Waylon!
Waylon, my music hero. Outlaw music was not the same without Waylon. We miss you Waylon. I sing and play guitar and ALWAYS include several Waylon songs in my list. THE LEDGEND WIKK NEVER DIE.

This video is so AWESOME!! Thanks for downloading it for all of us to enjoy. I'm not a Country music follower, however, Waylon is my one exception! I'm fortunate enough to still have two parents from the Great Depression who prided themselves on old-school country music. I still remember the long road trips, Waylon, Cash, and Hank Sr playing on the radio. If we crossed a section of highway where we lost signal, he'd sing the tunes. "Remember, Boy," he'd say, "these men had it hard. Listen to the words." He had a voice that could blow the roof off any building.
This is what I miss about my childhood. Dad would always play the country songs on the radio...Waylon was always on. Willie and Hank, and sometimes even Dolly. I was born too late for Stringbean, but I love his music just the same. Thanks for posting this. I appreciate it.
Waylon was the greatest all other artists were just trying for second place!!! Damn he made that guitar picking look so easy. Thanks for posting this video.
This is awesome! I love classic country. I'd say Waylon is my fave. My first record was a 45 of Good Ol Boys...from the Dukes of Hazzard when I was like 5...Long live Waylon!
What a brilliant sound Waylon got from that Fender Telecaster .
This is the longest I’ve ever heard Waylon jam.
I love it! He forgot the lyrics and turned it into a jam session 😂
This is one outlaw we all sadly miss😢

Dr Toboggan your grandpa had an awesome sense of humour
Dr. toboggan, I don’t know if your story is true but I liked it! I hope it’s true.

Hello 👋 Joanne. How are you doing? Hope you're fine. I'm Zack Hudson and am from Denver Colorado. Where are you from? You seem like a real country girl
Waylon Jennings was a Master of the Telecaster. His voice had incredible depth and resonance.
And he knew how to get that sound out of it. I just love his sound. My fingers hurt just watching him pick.
So true
That is truly the voice of Waylon Jennings
Yeah, clearly not a virtuoso, but criminally underrated as a guitarist. His style was to deliberately stay in the background. Like he's just Waylon's guitar player, there to make the real stars - Waylon and the song he's singing# - look good.
Hank Williams as Merle Hagg

My biggest regret in life is being born in 1990. You old folks might be old, but you were alive for this! :D
I was born in 1990 as well but this is all I listen to. Waylon is my all time favorite. Wish I could go back to these days and be there in person
Im a 1990 baby also and to me this is music, and I agree they were living it up back then, wish I could've met and seen "The Man" in concert.
The fuck is wrong with 1990? 😂
I was born in 71 and u have no idea how fun it was man.😳
Was born in 1951 LOL and y'all... I made a Tshirt once (don't have it anymore) said "I may be OLD, but I got to see all the GOOD bands" ...
His songs will live past all of us! True outlaw legend
Fantastic to have the live version!!! Loved me some Waylon!!
Will never be another like Him, Willie, Cash, Emmy, or Kris!❤❤ #Legends

My God we had a good one in Ole Waylon!
