Its crazy to think that i was 19 yrs old when the sims came out and i was obsessed. Fast fwd 25 yrs later at 44 i still love the game.

I think the Pirate Ship being the same but more expensive, is a play at the fact it's "Void Critter" themed one. So it's like something being Pokemon themed and costing more just cause it has Pikachu on it in our world LOL
And it’s less fun because when you can slap a popular brand name on it the builders can cut corners and it still sells. 😁
i actually love that hair for the toddlers, i wish we had it for older sims. it kind of reminds me of carrie bradshaw a little bit

As soon as I saw that sheath dress on LilSimsies stream, I immediately thought, That's a Deligracy dress. I can 💯 percent picture you in that dress.

So happy for these new items!! Base game objects are looking more and more normal 😅 But Deli they just need to run everything by you bc I completely agree!! Like do they not run this stuff by ANYONE before they finalize these new items?! No timber for the windows when they're on the doors and the window heights not matching the doors is just devastating! 😭

I loved seeing you on the Stream and it was so sweet that James joined you. You did such a good job. It reminded me of when you and James use to collab.. He would build and ask you to decorate the home... then he would pick on you while you decorated the home.
So excited they put my shoulder length curly/wavy hair into the game finally! I was just trying to update my Sim self and couldn't find my new shorter hairstyle, so that was really needed. I did used to wear all these bamboo tee shirts that were kinda silky and shiny, but that was literally 16 years ago 😆
There is also a bar, stools for the bar. A table and dining chairs. Plus there is a new coffee pot and stove.

Fyi all the clothing with the pink-beige default swatch are existing items that were retextured and recoloured as swimwear, added in a base game update back in May, along with some original swimwear.
I don’t like the hexagons within the hexagon. Either should’ve gave us another flooring or more swatches of the plain version. 15:40

Totally agree with you on the issues with the new windows (why no wood tones?) and the new doors (why do they have weird heights that doesn’t match windows or wall heights AND why doesn’t the sliding ones come in wood tones?). Besides those issues I love them and the new kitchen! 🩷
You're the first Sims creator I ever watched regularly. I was terrible at building so when you'd upload partially furnished homes I'd get so excited knowing I could put my taste on the rest. 💖
I still really wish we had a new accessory option for jackets and other items that go over the outfit. It would be soooo nice to have that option. But I'm loving these new items, especially the new hairstyles
HBD to the sims! I was 12 when it came out and still my fave game! I just so wish (on their birthday candles 🤣 🎂) they listen to your feedback! They are so bloody frustrating! And always do the most baffling things! Like why not have timber for all and matching doors and windows heights!? And the two almost identical floors? Rather have new sofa! And yet another fireplace 🤦🏼♀️ oh well least its free so can’t really moan lol pretty generous really and better than another kit!

I agree…I’ll probably never use the hexagons within the hexagon tile lol. And mating hexagon tiles for the wall would’ve been amazing ♥️.

I also would have liked the windows to have wood swatches, like the doors did! But, they are great windows with lovely swatches. And I like both tile types myself!

@11:54 Isn't that just a hilarious metaphor for the Sims 4 greed and quality tho. They'll give us a "new" thing that's just a different swatch than the old thing but it's 1 less fun and costs 100$ more. It's so on the nose 😂

Question: where do you get your inspiration from when you’re building a house in Sims? Do you get it from Google or do you just make it up as you go?

I’m really excited to get some classic skirts and dresses for the more modest sims who don’t want to show their stomach and cleavage. These would work in mid-century gameplay.
I've played the sims from 2020. I was on maternity leave.

There's also a new bar that matches the kitchen cabinets and a gallery set of pictures (3 I think) you might have missed.
I think the reason the cas clothes are so shiny is a throwback to sims 2 shiny tops
There is a full body outfit for masculine sims! It's a suit with lots of swatches. So much, that they split it into 3 items! It's the same item, just different swatches

I really wish they would add some feature to sort clothes and items and mark favourites. By now it takes ages to find, what one is looking for and there are so many items and clothes I NEVER use.

My assumption about the new windows is that they're vinyl windows, so wood wouldn't make sense. BUT I wish they did come in wood.
I think the windows were designed to look more like the newer vinyl window frames hence no wood color swatches
The random aloe vera has also been in my plants without having hiddenobjects on haha

Making a rug to put under a fireplace was such a stupid idea, idk what EA was thinking XDDD 1. We could just place floor tiles under it and it looks all the same, and 2. just like any rug, they catch fire. The "stone" rug from Get Together is the same way
