Ahhh this is awesome..... Fergie was an amazing singer, most definitely did his bit on isolation album.... really cant understand why his Toto career was short lived.... better stage presents than the other guys..... rip Fergie

When recording this album he had big issues with stage fright live and in the studio. I saw a comment where the guy said that sometimes Fergie would get so scared that his skin would go into a rash.
Fergie -awesome -his performance on Le Roux So Fired Up album is off the scale -as are the songs! No wonder they drafted him in soon after! I was so upset it lasted for one album -but what an album! Isolation and the follow up with joseph williams (his first, Fahrenheit , remain the most solid Toto albums -their melodic AOR phase -

Trying to hide the poor vocals with tons of decibels still won't make it sound right. This is not like let's say Gillan's different but excellent current day's vocals; or Joseph Williams performance on XIV. This here on the other hand is the "We were once great, we aren't anymore but we need the cash" show.
RIP such a legend, made the isolation album so unique and different from rest of Toto discography.
