Thank you very much! We will increase all prices slightly from May due to higher material and energy prices. Just a heads up. It is by far my favourite axe I've ever used.
Difficult decision making between Wayfarer, Journeyman and Karelia. I see I would like to have all of them. Ordered Karelia as my first Woodsmans Finest axe. Looking forward to it.
Max, I own one of your Journeyman axes, and I have to say the development, devotion to detailed excellence, and use of the finest materials makes it my first choice for a travelling axe. And I have a few (including ones by Svante Djarve, Gransfors Bruk, & Wood Tools amongst others). I cannot recommend these tools too highly.
Wow... I'm really taken by this kind feedback. This is exactely what I tried to achieve. Wouldn't be possible without the guys understanding my vision though and making these axes to the exact specs. Thank you so much for the support!
Thank you for this axe ,got it,love it!!! Also can you please advice me on something else as well. I would like to know your opinion on the svante djarv little viking axe Thanks again Joe
Thank you so much. The little viking is nice. Great looking axe. Not my cup of tea when it comes to balance, haft shape and ability to carve with but for other purposes probably very nice. I designed my axes different for a good reason.
Hey! The best and heaviest you can afford if you take it seriously. I am biased as I designed the JourneyMan, Wayfarer and Karelia based on what I like most and didn't find on the market. If I had to use one axe for the rest of my life it would be my Journeyman axe. Link to my tool line in the comments. Cheers
I primarily plan to do a lot of dry wood spoons. Would you recommend this one over the light version? Also, I do not see any carving knives available? Thanks for all the help.
@@woodsmansfinest3814 Haha yea sorry about that, impatient American here, I work 6-7 days a week so I forget sometimes. Thanks for the reply! I appreciate it

Your axe work is spiritual to watch. Wow, accurate, measured, practiced, safe. Amazing job.
Thank you so much!
This looks great, after a ton of research I went with the Robin Wood carving Axe
Big/heavy axe for days and a night, you have prooved that point
What a wonderful Tool, amazing work max. So intuitive to work and yet so precise.
What a fantastic blade! I use a heavier axe as well, I find myself accelerating a lot less. Great video!
Cheers for the feedback!
Lovely shape to the axe head!
I have the GFB Swedish Carving axe. This looks a lot like it.
Great axe. This is in every way a different axe except for having a head and a haft. That's like comparing apples and pears.
I plan to get one of these in the next couple of months.
Thank you very much!
