do you guys recommend drop through or top mont for downhill, i was thinking about getting a santa cruz bomb drop or a drop down, drop through board. mostly for speed and a little slididng
Do you do certain reviews on decks? If so can you do a review of the Rayne Brightside? Haha I see it in the back ground and have been interested in it for a while
Quick irrelevant question - do you think I'll get wheel bite with the Five Mile Scarecrow w/ 70mm butterballs and bear 852s??? (pretty loose trucks) thanks
Thank you for this video! It answered a lot of questions. I’m currently looking at the Globe Byron Bay Coconut longboard. It’s 43” but it has nice shock absorbers and it’s a sturdy board. Would this work for medium downhilling? I’m just trying to get a lot of speed on any hill I find and this one is nice. I also have an Arbor Flagship Series currently and I know that one is not very stiff
I have the switch 40 Landyachtz drop down, is that still good for downhill? I feel very comfortable on them. should I just get a new board for downhill in? I'm not in to freestyle riding.
+Justin Rose you will be good and not loose stabilty. the dojo is stiff and has a long enough wheelbase to go very fast. if you get wobbles it's not the Boards fault.
If I want to try downhill like 80km/h, it is necessary to have precision trucks? And would you recommend me a james kelly arbor, omen barfight or a jet tomahawk rocker 35.5?
Curious about buying the sector 9 downhill division hijack for sole downhill/freeride. Would you guys recommend it or think I should get something else?
general question to the universe: I am wanting to get into downhill longboarding. my shoe preference is low top. but for the hills, do I need a higher top? is this a preference thing or more of a necessity? High tops seem so uncomfortable. thoughts?
My personal preference is to wear high tops for the added ankle support and a little bit more protection just in the occasion that you fall, but it doesn't really matter all that much.
+Tactics Boardshop maybe a smaller company like pantheon might try it out, 'cause I don't know if a bigger company like Landatchz or Rayne will try it out. Also about the lower degree baseplate, you would probably be able to do a lower degree in the back as well as the drop through, kind of like the Evo, but not as intense of a drop
I've never been a longboarder my self, always a street skater. but I'm such a gear nerd that these videos are actually quite interesting.

+Tactics Boardshop i have a question. can a loaded vanguard 38 inch flex 5 longboard go downhill and can it slide?
top mount preferably if you are trying to actually pick up some speed on a stable board. Drop through more for freeriding
Thank you! Looking towards more riding this year. Riding a Landyachtz tugboat now. Wanna get a free ride board too. Thanks again
what are the pros and cons of a drop down longboard?

What's a board with a diractiinal shape like the bomber but around 40 in
have you heard the quest super cruiser can you ride it on a downhill can you make review about it??

This is HELLA late, but checkout the Eastside Relic
Never go downhill on a pintail...
Why ?
+Yousaf Malik because they are really bad and have to much flex. You could do mellow hills just don't go more then 25mph
+Jack Ross I dont think so, I began downhill skateboarding with a pintail and everything was ok
+Jack Ross oh so I've been lucky, actually I started longskating on a very steepy hill with a pintail and without helmet 😂 keep it up Jack !
Jp David why?😳
Can someone reccomend one of these that still has a tail to kickturn?
So I have a globe drop deck top mount board. Is that good for downhill or...
I have that same board!
sector 9 bomber, blood orange ultra coarse grip, sector 75a 75mm 9ball wheels, bones swiss bearings, and atlas 48 degree trucks
Dylan Crowl dich the atlas trucks for rouges

Can u guys do a loaded overland review
?
Just bought a Original Skateboards 36 DK. Phenomenal shape

Any thoughts on the Paradise Wave fade? I know it's a beginner board but will it work for down hill?
totally awesome vids bro, does anybody else like flat decks?

do you guys have any stickers to go on the bottom of a longboard?
Is Cruiser good for downhill?
For freeride top mount or drop through?
Top mount!
Cheets
Cheers***
what does it mean to have your board stiff?
Haw can i buy bord like this ?
Is the landyachtz drop hammer a good downhill board?
Would I be alright going fast on the Dojo freeride board?
+Justin Rose you can go fast but you will lose stability and get speed wobbles if u dont slide its better to buy urself a real downhill longboard
Why would I lose stability
i think beacuse the deck isnt made for downhill but maybe u wont lose stability if you have downhill trucks and wheels
+Justin Rose you will be good and not loose stabilty. the dojo is stiff and has a long enough wheelbase to go very fast. if you get wobbles it's not the Boards fault.
I actually picked myself up a Mini Daisy today, thanks for the help though!

I'm a beginner what type is easier? Downhill, cruiser or freeride
ok thanks. I was just watching one of your other videos
For me drop down deck is the best for downhill that I've every used
Same here
Board at 0:42?
impossible to tell :(
+antsolja damn, looks sick
Rory Mag maybe an Original Arbiter or Rayne of sorts. Also could be a downhill division
landyachtz switch, landyacht switchblade,Landyacht switchblade HT.....Which one is good for sliding and downhill learning
Arif Ikhwan Of your leaning how to slide and want to get into downhill the Switch 35 or 40 is definitely the way to go
omg my first board was from this company that's so cool because I thought I had some peace of shit board lol.
I wanted a longer deck for a more stable ride
this was helpful 👍🏻
What if.... The front of the board is drop through, but the back is a top mount....
+Tactics Boardshop maybe a smaller company like pantheon might try it out, 'cause I don't know if a bigger company like Landatchz or Rayne will try it out. Nice editing
If downhill decks are for downhill why people dont use downhill decks
Sick
Thanks this vid was very helpful
479 Jacobi Port
1100 Ezequiel Loop
Andreanne Drives
best board i have ever bought
what board?
Gostei do eskete
I'm good I'll stick with drop throughs. Fuck speed wobbles.
if you have the right bushings then wobbles wont be a problem anyway
get a top mount and speed wobbles often come from a higher degree truck
