In internal storage, there's an essential and an all filter option. Click all and android will pop up

I found the perfect solution.
1.Turn off your phone
2. Wait for 30secs
3. Press and hold the volume up key and the bixby key and then also press and hold the power key. (So now you're pressing three keys simultaneously)
4. When the screen shows the Android logo, let go.
5. You'll see a menu, press the volume down key to go to cache partition and then press the power key and then select yes and power key.
6. Then go down to app repair and press the power key.
You're phone will restart and optimize the apps. Now check your storage.
Summary:
1. Clear cache partition
2. Repair apps

Also, the myfiles doesnt appear for android, which blows..
Finally found a solution to this problem (Samsung Galaxy tab) It worked for me so it might work for you too. First you have to open the reboot menu. To do that:
Step 1 - turn off your device
Step 2 - hold the power button and volume up button together till the Samsung logo comes on screen.
Then after the reboot menu is open, choose "wipe cache partition" (Use the volume buttons and power button to choose the options) and then "repair apps". Don't worry this doesn't delete any of your files. Let me know if this works!

what if "other files" are located somewhere else , which i still can't find even if the whole internal storage files are selected for their storage capacity and shows a number which is not relevant to the big number.

For those who don't have the " Trash " option here's an another way to do it , But it will take a LONG time ;)
1/ open " My files "
2/ Click on " Internal storage "
3/ Click on the 3 dots above and then click on " Settings "
4/ Click on " Show hidden system files "
After you do all of that you gotta go to every single folder for each app/program and delete the unwanted files, For example if you open "PicsArt" you will find 3-6 folders and each folder will have other folders on it so you gonna delete all the unwanted files from these folders
+ Just delete the unnecessary files/folders do not delete the important files like " Pictures + Videos "

I have found my "recycle bin" instead of "trash".. I cleared the bin and 8gb storage has reduced.. but still there is the "other" thing.. can you please say what to do with that?

but i already did all the things you said even before i reached your video, my 'others' storage still take 70GB over 128 GB. does this means it comes from apps then?
It comes from files you already deleted

@enrico - I have tried that but in my Data file it shows nothing. My phone is practically 90% full, I even went add sent a lot of apps to my SD included photos and videos....hasn't helped. Please let me know what I might be missing. I have taken a snapshot of my Android/Data file if you wanna see.

In my case was the whatsapp files... look into the folders of the sent videos (i freed an extra 17GB) inside the main one of whatsapp itself, so even when you remove the automatic downloads a lot of files will still be stored somehow on the device itself! check your definitions and adjust as i just did if you have the same issue. (if you use messaging apps on the same way, the problem/solution could be exactly the same) i just freed in total 61GB of data of my S20 phone.
I tried to simply move them to my SD card as i have 256GB instead of deleting, but i failed to do so. Im sure if you try harder than i did, you can do it,

Went to all the files you showed and there was barely anything for me to delete. Yet I still have so much space used up in the "other" storage that I STILL CANT FIND to delete and clear! I upgraded for a phone with MORE memory than the previous but I basically still have the SAME MEMORY as the previous because of this stupid "other" storage stealing all of my memory and not giving me the option to view and delete them! It's a brand new phone with barely ANY apps AT ALL yet somehow more than half of my memory is being used up by this ridiculous "other" storage! The "other" storage is such a total scam for android buyers making then think they're getting more memory with the new upgrade when in fact they arent!

I have nothing in my trash but my other is still 21gb
So, I'm getting my s22 plus today. Moving from the s20 Ultra. I have already copied all photos and videos to my One Drive via connection from phone to computer. I deleted all of those once I was certain all files copied with no errors. That freed up a good bit of space but STILL had alot of "Other" files taking up space. Before seeing this video, I went through everything manually and deleted trash files along with cache on each and every app. I have also deleted the trash bin. My phone is STILL using up 80 GB out of 125 GB. Urrrggg. And 50 GB is "Other" but yet I can NOT find those files. I even went to settings and told it to show me hidden files. NOTHING!!!
I am trying to get this straightened out before I do my phone transfer. I'm nervous moving to a phone with no SD and I don't want to take Un needed files over to the new phone so that they can eat up my storage. Urrrgg. If I pick and choose what to transfer vs doing a complete transfer, will that help? I'm concerned that alot of this is "BLOATWARE" and if so, shame on the cell services and Samsung for installing all that crap. Urrrgg....what do you guys suggest?

I've been having the same issue trying to free up some space on my Galaxy S20 ultra. The solation I found worked for me and I'm not sure it may work for you but here's what I did.
I literally connected my S20 ultra to my PC and deleted all the files on s20 internal memory.
Originally before doing this, the phone memory was at its full capacity of 128gigb.
After connecting my phone to my computer, I was able to clean up the files bring it down to 108 gigabytes which caused me to have more available space.
I also used an app called “AppMgr III” and have all my apps from internal moved to SD card.
so around 76 apps were moved to my sd card.

Oh alright I found it now actually, what basically you need to do is enable show hidden files, then come to Android>com.sec.android.gallery3d (it is where I found the trash folder hidden)

I simply went into my gallery settings and disabled the trash saver from there , it was set to keep the deleted files for 30 days, once I turned that off, it freed up space instantly.

I found a way on my Samsung A20. I had to do a factory reset to clear the others folder which had 9gb in it. After I restored from Samsung back up I transferred all my apps to my micro SD card to free up space on internal memory. Then I turned OFF auto updates on play store. I think the auto updates makes temp files that build up and are impossible to delete unless you do a factory reset. So far it's been 2 months and my others folder is still empty and out of 32 gb internal memory I'm holding at 62% used....I selectively update only apps as needed then transfer to the sd card
