For the swirl design it might be better to put the mold on a lazy susan so you can spin the mold and keep your pour cup at a constant position. Anyway it’s just a thought.
One thing I love using in my resin is Easter grass. I get the actual paper grass, and it doesn't melt. It doesn't bleed. I have no problems with it. It looks awesome.
I’m sure you have heard of Daniel Cooper. He discovered that a very tiny drop of clear Elmer’s glue will, prevent the glitter from sinking. These are super pretty! First time I have watched you. Thank you!
6:36 the swirl one reminds me of a flower field on a cloudy day, where the blues/purples are the sky, and the rest the green of the grass with yellow, red and orange flowers in it. Not what you went for, but I really like it.
All your experiments were successes, imo. The one with more purple would make a beautiful sun catcher in a window, just drill a hole near an edge to hang it from a ribbon. I do like the one with a lip on the edge; it would make a great coaster for larger mugs & the edge would catch any moisture dripping off the glass. Good job!
OMG i couldn't follow what you were talking, that purple holographic glitter was MESMERIZING! I almost drooled on my keyboard. I LOVE purple and i LOVE holographic, that was just TOO MUCH for my brain to process ♥♥♥
Personally, I think the swirl turned out this way because you poured it first, and the resin was still very 'watery', giving it more opportunity/time to move around and create that 'messy' look. (Though I personally like it- it looks like a glitter explosion lol) I think the 'lines' worked out so well because the resin was beginning to firm up. Try it reverse next time- pouring the swirl last. It might yield different results!
I've messed around with epsom salt as a filler into the resin. you can mix a massive amount of epsom salt and get an almost concrete like substance and even sprinkle more salt on top of the mold to give it a super textured look.
@JBKonsCreations It gets really cold and snowy up in Canada, and you guys use a lot of road salt in the winter, right? It has to be pretty cheap to be able to sprinkle it on roads and walkways. Try that and see what happens.
So very cool. Just found your page and was very intrigued. I do love the 2 striped ones. Really nice. I have more glitter than Michael's, so sm heading for the resin. Thx
We don't use them a lot but we love using the divider cups, although we haven't used one of the 4 or 5 colors slotted one. Got a bunch of new molds in today so we will see
No, the second coaster had large swaths of colors because you moved your pour in a circle. the top side of the rainbow (red and yellow) and the bottom part (blue and purple) Kept getting layered over and over with the way you moved your hand, they stacked up and dominated each side of the circle you laid it down in. Your measurements were fine IMO. Try moving the mold in a circle (put it on a lazy suzan) and laying the rainbow in a single layer spiral pour instead of on top of itself in a heap.
I hope you took the 'leftovers' from the pour and put them into something maybe with a gap between to make kind of a rainbow effect...I think that would be really pretty too. Blessings.
Love the outcome of those pieces!! Wondering though, when you were tilting the pieces to show us the shine etc, were we seeing pinhole like defects (sorry, can't think of better word)?
Wow. Very cool. I'm definitely going to try something similar. Haven't seen anyone else do just glitter resin pour. Wonder if you can do a matching tray?
Gorgeous! Q: how do you clean the dried resin from that cup? I try over and over with silicone cups but always end up with tons of hardened resin stuck all over the inside. Even with tape it I can't get it all (tried turning it upside down etc.) Thanks so much if you answer this! 😊
I mostly just use tape but there are some occasions where theres just too many little bits so I use left over resin and get it to cure over it and pull it off that way.
The purple & blue was bc your hand swirled Only the mixed side, hovering over the blue side with Only that Same side. 😉 you can see it in your video. That coaster might look very cool with a organic line separating the two areas. 🤔🙂
New to your channel. This is a great video, you’re very informative. Definitely like your style, cheers. I’ve done a dirty pour butterfly 🦋! She turned out pretty good.
Yess it can be. These are just test pieces so I dont fully make sure the bubbles are gone but when I make pieces to sell I usually will pour a really thin clear layer of resin first or run a toothpick along to edges to get rid of them.

Sounds like good idea!!
That's just what I was thinking!
I was going to suggest that. Glad you said it. Also if she waves it could give it a tie dye effect

For cleaning up glitter or other dry messes I use car detailing putty/gel stuff. Works great and can be used again and again.
I just picked some cleaning gel up yesterday!
I love glitter too! Your coasters came out GNARLY! Keep it up!
They are beautiful!!!
I just love how they turned out. They are really beautiful.
Thank-you :)

A gold metallic pen edging would be really pretty too. These are pure eye candy!!
Ooohh yesss. I love adding a gold edge but I didn't think to this time.😅
So pretty!

Little girl who loved Lisa Frank, doesn't care. These are all amazing
That first one is definitely my favourite of the three. It's gorgeous.

@@JBKonsCreations I'm glad you had a great time!! 🤗😍
I love the colours and the lines are awesome
I love the last one best. And I actually liked the less "crisp" lines on the back of the first one.
They really came out very pretty.
I love glitter too, the 1st one is my favourite.
The 2nd coaster looks like a galaxy with night and day it's beautiful ❤❤❤

Very pretty I LOVE chunky glitter!!!

I’ve seen it done before! Ive always wanted to try but epsom salts here in Canada are pretty expensive. 😕

The second one is my fav
Omg you're a glitter genius, girl! So dang pretty! Love!!
loved the results... i feel they all won due to how they do show individuality of the colors and it didn't muddy up!!! thanks for sharing
Those coaster colors are amazing!!!
I love the swirly one so much.
Shared. The glitter is gorgeous
I think it looks really good. Kinda like outer space.
Enjoyed this video so much. Good work
So very cool. Just found your page and was very intrigued. I do love the 2 striped ones. Really nice. I have more glitter than Michael's, so sm heading for the resin. Thx
haha same!! I could probably open my own glitter shop.😂
Love the hexagon one!
❤ very excellent! ❤ I love this so much, I want all of these. ❤
These are Fabulous! I had no idea you could use so much glitter in resin and have it dry so completely!👏🏻👍💥
This is the first time I’ve seen your work. I like that first one it reminds me of the rings of Saturn and I will subscribe and give you a thumbs up.
Oh I love them !! The ones with the lines of colored glitter are AMAZING ! The swirl coaster is pretty too. Holographic glitter is awesome ❤
It's really fascinating how the biggest glitter floated up to the top so neat and flat!
i think they all look great! the pattern doesn't always have to be even
Gorgeous! I love these!
They all turned out very nice and pretty. Even the swirl one, that didn’t swirl, lol. Someone would still love it, tfs.
I love all three!
Love it!
Pride coasters! Yay! I love them!
I liked the last 2 way more than the first one
I am so glad I found you because I am about to make some Mandalas and those are absolutely beautiful.
We don't use them a lot but we love using the divider cups, although we haven't used one of the 4 or 5 colors slotted one. Got a bunch of new molds in today so we will see

love the results

Ooo thanks for the feedback! Ill have to get my hands on a lazy susan…🤔👍🏻
I wonder what that would look like on a piece of furniture ????? !! Or a box... On a wall, A toilet seat, A chair, A large tray etc. Etc. etc. !😍😍
I am very happy you did this experime nt and founnd this resul thanks❤
I hope you took the 'leftovers' from the pour and put them into something maybe with a gap between to make kind of a rainbow effect...I think that would be really pretty too. Blessings.
Hi 👋🏻 I’ve just come across your channel 😊 I love these coasters, what a gorgeous dirty pour ❤ Can’t wait to watch more of your tutorials x
The best video I have ever seen ((Behind the Scenes of MoonAstra Art Production)..........
I like the one with the swirly one
like that came out pretty
💜💜💜💜absolutely gorgeous
I think they are beautful
With all that glitter, they would be real pretty sun catchers
❤❤ never tried it before
I see a Superman S in the hexagon. Very nice.
Oooo I'll have to see if I see that. 😮
So amazing.
you need to somehow spin the mold while your pouring it out to do a spin effect or you get one color to one side like that
Yeah, like in pour paintings.
Love the outcome of those pieces!! Wondering though, when you were tilting the pieces to show us the shine etc, were we seeing pinhole like defects (sorry, can't think of better word)?
I love this so much. And that 5 way pourer is really cool. Great job.
Wow. Very cool. I'm definitely going to try something similar. Haven't seen anyone else do just glitter resin pour. Wonder if you can do a matching tray?
Beautiful, how did you get the resin out of the divided cup?
If you do a swirly one again you could buy a turntable, might help to get the glitter more even
I think they are all awesome….😊
Thank-you :D
@@JBKonsCreations your welcome …I am a newbie and just love the look of them as well as the ease ! Can’t wait to play thank you !!
Just to ask do you ever worry that the resin is still liquid?
There beautiful
What if you had a lazy susan and spun the mold as you poured into it? tysm for making videos they are so satisfying to watch!
Pretty ❤
BEAUTIFUL 🎉❤🎉❤
I came here thinking you were pour painting... NOW I WANT TO RESIN!!! :D Very cool!
Resin is a lot of fun just make sure to do research on it for resin safety! :)
@@JBKonsCreations absolutely!!!

@@JBKonsCreations Genius! Thanks for replying.
You can put the mold on a lazy Susan and spin as you pour
Someone call Simply Nailogical!!! She will love this!!
So beautiful
You have a hidden Mickey with your last coaster ☺️☺️☺️
ooo I need to go back and take a look!
Glow in the dark
Lovely 🌹

That coaster might look very cool with a organic line separating the two areas. 🤔🙂
Put them together and it looks like a Mickey Mouse 😊
I loved it and I will definitely use this method, thanx!
Thanks for sharing this
I'm very new to resin. I bought a set of molds for coasters and a holder. How much resin do I need to prepare for the five coasters and the holder?
New to your channel. This is a great video, you’re very informative. Definitely like your style, cheers. I’ve done a dirty pour butterfly 🦋! She turned out pretty good.
Thankyou and welcome.❤️
I love those glitter coasters the one where you went around in circles I think you need to turn the mold not your hand😊
You might be right. It works pretty good for pigmented resin but maybe not the glitter since its chunky…🤔
You can always add a drop of clear school glue to your resin to make glitter float
Try putting the coaster on a lazy Susan and pour in while turning.
I see you get bubbles in the lip of the hexagon mold. What do you do about them. I find they are really sharp if you rub along the edge.
Yess it can be. These are just test pieces so I dont fully make sure the bubbles are gone but when I make pieces to sell I usually will pour a really thin clear layer of resin first or run a toothpick along to edges to get rid of them.
