I’m with a man who talks about himself and doesn’t ask questions about me. At first I thought he was self-centered but it turns out he’s reserved. Now that I know him better I know he doesn’t share stuff about himself with just anyone. and more important he pays attention and remembers everything I say about myself but he leaves it up to me to volunteer what I want to share.
The same thing with my man. From very beginning I realized he was talking just about himself, and sometimes i even found hard to have some voice. Barely asked me any questions cuz he was expecting me to open up with what is i wanted to share. I have a difficult situation my Mom does the same thing and when I try to have an opinion or share my view or perspective she goes on continuing to speak about what she wants to say and it makes conversation into just a listening session I already spoke to her about this and even sometimes have to tell to wait a short moment so I could express myself but this seems as best as our conversations will get even though majority of the time the conversation is one sided and I'm the listening audience
