Funny seeing Mosley act surprised at the decision and then all of a sudden act like he knew he was going to win 😂😂
Facts..He knew he was outboxed lol he was hit with clean punches twice as much🤣
Mosley did not win this fight. The judges are blind.
@@shivahuggins1276 I did. Plus, I'm heavily biased towards Sugar Shane. I'm a bigger fan of Sugar than Oscar. Oscar pulled it off in my opinion.
@@tarstarkuszI wasnt scoring compeltely but feels like Shane Mosley won, he landed harder cleaner shots to the head which wobbled Delahoya more (well at least moreso than he was shook from) when both were opting for body shots, and delahoya was backing up whole 2nd half of fight,
first half of the fight, Oscar won the rounds barely by point scoring match between both of them since both were opting for speed and feints, simply by landing more with jabs. Except one or two of the early rounds Shane won. So Shane had more rounds, in the end it feels.
He acted that way due to his corners/teams reaction
I remember that fight very well. Everyone was shocked by the decision.
Oscar won this one his shots were cleaner and accurate 🎯
The good old boxing days 🥊🥊🥊
Real boxing not show
That was a close one. I think De La Hoya won.
Plus Sugar Shane was on roids
I scored it a draw, probably the closest boxing match i've seen. Almost every round could've gone both ways.
I give rounds 1, 4, 6, 9, 10, 11 to Mosley.
Correct de la hoya was the true winner.
Now this is the fine art of boxing, few, if any, have the skills Shane & Oscar had.
You certainly do not 😂
Oscar won the 2nd fight not by alot but he did fought way smarter landed alot more power shots
Agreed. 💯
Another blatant robbery in vegas lol. Shane wouldn't let his hands go and just circling them in his hips as if punching but not😩 he was the underdog in this one as his career is going down so they have to give him the win and fight another money fight as well🤓💵
Shame we never got Mosley vs Trinidad.
Amazing that fight never happened.
Mosley would've whooped him .
@@cinemascenes2010 maybe

Some people forget that Mosley was an all time great light weight.
8 title defenses that all were KO and stoppages.
He would have been a tough out for any lightweight.
Oscar looked much better in this fight than the 1st one
He was. Floyd took over his training.
I still say Oscar won this fight. Lost their first fight but definitely won this rematch
Oscar backed up the whole second fight, and Shane landed harder hits at that time. When did Shane backup after getting hit hard?? Oscar may or may not been hurt by the later hard shots, but backing up for awhile looks bad when hit by a clean shot.
Oscar won the first half barely, but lost a round, so the fight goes to Shane, unless theres proof otherwise???
Real talk Oscar got robbed the second fight I had dela hoya 8to4 the first clearly he lost 8to4 also...but this one here Oscar clearly won.
Joe Cortez missed at least 2 blatant low blows from Moseley in nearly every round.
40:31
Mosely reaction said it all.
He was not expecting to win.
Ha how many of Oscar low blows did Joe miss , not to mention the punches to Shane's back .Us another hater of black boxers
@@donalddouglas7643🧢 I think Shane won… but his reaction is still hilarious

7-4-1 for Oscar "The Golden Boy" De La Hoya over "Sugar" Shane Mosley
DLH: 1, 2, 5, 6, 7, 8, 11
Mosley: 3, 4, 9, 12
Even: 10
Rounds 1, 5, 9, 11, and 12 could have gone either way. The tenth round barely saw any action and both had their moments.
The official judges gave Mosley either round 1 or 2, but they then proceeded to give De La Hoya rounds 3 and/or 4. Oscar was looking good with multiple jabs, boxing on the outside and plainly frustrating Shane. That all slowed down thereafter. Two of the judges gave Mosley rounds 5-6, then gave Oscar rounds 7-8. Whatever the case, the Golden Boy was up 5-3 at the end of 8 rounds on all scorecards.
What killed De La Hoya was rounds 9-12. He got no rounds--NOT ONE!--from any of the judges. This really stings since the 10th round saw barely any action (Mosley did good stuff early and De La Hoya late) and the pride of East L.A. came back strong to close out round 11, even knocking out Shane's mouthpiece and putting on a show. My thinking is that the judges were so overly impressed by round 9, when Oscar was clearly hurt by Shane, that they gave too much credit to Sugar's power in rounds 10-12.
Was this a robbery? I cannot say it was. A close fight can go either way and in this case it just didn't go Oscar's way. I will say, though, that the judging seemed really off in how the judges scored certain rounds for either guy that don't make sense.
I like both of them, but I still think De La Hoya won that fight
Unanimous decision barely got cut kick the announcers outta boxing 🥊
I always liked Moseley but I think Oscar won this fight by at least 3 rounds
Vegas at its best not wanting to lose money on the betting
I remember this one...what a battle! But Oscar took it.
Mosley didn't even believe it.. Just look at his reaction. DLH got robbed in this fight and the Trinidad fight.
Mosley landed harder shots he won this fight super close oscar was fading second h alf from body work
@louisgibson5795 wasn't Mosley juicing though? So you can't really say he won any fights
the industry gifted Oscar so many times John John Molina, Ike Quartey and Felix Sturm

Mosley tested positive after the fight. The fight should've been changed to a no contest, but for some reason it never was.
Not true. Shane never tested positive for steroids. He admitted to taking EPO later on, claiming he thought it was clean, but never actually tested positive.
@@520LUNNY no. He did. Max Kellerman, Jim Lampley, and others confirmed that he did test positive.
@@anthonycampos8057 why didn’t they make it a no contest?
@@dma1176 I have no idea. Remember, Fernando Vargas tested positive for steroids after his fight with De La Hoya as well.

Two of the most liked fighters of their time.
one of the Fiercest Fights I have seen !!!
Two legends
Back in the days when top fighters in their prime actually sorted it out in the ring .whats going on now in boxing is laughable.
Garcia and Tank just sorted it out in the ring and I'm fairly certain they're both still in their primes. What are you on about?
GREAT FIGHT!
Oscar was robbed! He should be 1-0 (1 NC) against Mosley. Mosley had to cheat the first time.
Second fight he came up dirty, not the first one which he CLEARLY WON
Oscars landing almost every punch they are on Mosley jock strap
Shane looked quite surprised after that decision. One of several “enhancement” users that Delahoya had to fight in his career. Imho, Oscar won this fight, Trinidad snd even Mayweather. But Oscar did at least get his one gift against Pernell. Imho, Whitaker beat Oscar. It’s always amazes me how judging, whether it be boxing, mma, etc, never seems to correct itself . In the least. Lol
Frist love from Nepal 🇳🇵
World class stuff right here.
poor Oscar got robbed in this fight along with the Trinidad fight
Oscar didn't get robbed he got fucked up..👊👊
Let me guess he got robbed by Floyd to
Yes he beat Mayweather! Óscar is way better boxer ! De la Hoya is the best .
@@josiahwise5095 definitely got robbed by Trinidad and Mosley.
Trinidad fight oscar ran all night long like a chicken
I gave it 115-113 to Oscar
De la hoya was robbed
EPO injections really helped Mosley have the stamina and strength to get through this grueling fight. A big reason why he won.
bruh... Does anyone else how flawed mosley generally is? The dude has like a slappy jab, wild punches, little to no defese. And yet... They kept on bragging how "FAST" he is...
When was this fight?
@@bobhennig6597 2004 i think mayn
Thank you
@@PoombaiNews 2003
He WAS super fast! Look at his record and the fights! But as you go up in competition, styles make fights...you have a team around you for a reason!!! Analyze the strength and weaknesses.....he was faster than Vernon, Oscar, Cotto, Winky, Canelo....but THE game plan is what makes the difference! Offset speed with timing...
I think Oscar edged it out.I will never understand Why Oscar didn't turn south paw at some point in this fight.Or use the right hand left hook combo.Shane has always been able to take a good punch and Oscar didn't have enuff in that rt hand to hurt him.Oscar has always had power in that left hand but never really was able to set it up in this fight.
This was a top 3 sweet science showing from De La Hoya in his career aside from the Whitaker and Chavez fights, and yet it's a tragedy that he didn't win this fight.
Well the fight was Delahoyas I think they robed him
@@salvadorrubalcava5572 they gave him a robe? That was nice of them.
Close fight I thought Oscar clearly won! Even Shane was surprised by decision.
Shane was reacting to his corners/teams reaction, joining in on their fun
Excellent fight by all standards!! Both are warriors…
Congratulations Oscar! You should have been given the decision.
My card
Mosley 112 De la hoya 116
Hey Top Rank!! This is not Mosley-De la Hoya I !!!👊🏼💥 This is Mosley-De la Hoya II !!!! So, please add the #2 Roman numeral that your guy doing the typing missed🤦🏻♂️, so you don't misguide accidentally the casual audience traffic here in UA-cam😉
I had DLH 8-11. Mosley started going off at the end. Had the most clean shots overall but couldn’t rally enough to control the fight and Hoya came back with his own shots whenever Mosley tried to gain momentum. Hoya controlled the pace most of the fight but kinda slowed down towards the end. I think if there were more rounds Shane knocks him out but in the 12 rounds Hoya beat him. Knowing Mosley was in roids, definitely Hoya won. For sure deserved a trilogy
@25:01 "niether of these guys has a reputation of being a dirty fighter". Meanwhile, Mosley was juiced up on EPO during the fight haha
Then came Ronald Winky Wright after this fight.
One thing about almost all the boxers from this era, none of them backed down from anyone else. They all took the fight no matter how much danger may have been in the decision to fight someone else. The only person from this era that picked and choosed The easiest path forward was Mayweather. Mosley, De la Hoya, Forrest, Quartay, Trinidad... Everyone stood face to face with their potential maker every time and didn't think twice about it
The first fight was Oscar's first clear, legitimate defeat. ODLH beat Tito 8 to 4 and won the rematch against Sugar Shane by a hair, but that first fight he just plain lost. There was nothing controversial about it.
Mosley on roids was pretty controversial if you ask me
@@carlosgaleotegandara7812 Controversial in what sense? He's admitted to it in court. Everyone knows about it.
@Erik Hernández Yes!
Oscar won the first five rounds, then lost the next seven, against an opponent using illegal PEDs for endurance. Makes you think.
@@louduva9849 controversial because the main comment tries to make it look like Oscar clearly lost the fight, wich I dont think its the case, specially against a superfast fighter like Mosley on roids
Sped up footage???
Please, close fight granted! But, the judges saw the action up close and Shane was initiating most of the fight. His power punches were the hurt locker variety and Oscars were just contact. Oscar also tries the "last 20 second performance act to hopefully steal the rounds and fight judges are not o erly impressed. The judges made a good call.
BALCO Shane was a beast.
116-112 Oscar
Anyone from Nepal 🇳🇵

good fight
I don't agree with the decision!!
Same here
I'm no boxing judge, but I don't think this was a total robbery. I thought Mosley landed more power shots
Bad decision. Even Shane looked surprised.
6:50 bro said the N word
Wow for me Oscar won. 🏅
Great Fight! 15 rounds if you please. Mosely fought great but do enough to beat the Champ.
Oscar & Mosley had that dog in them
Mosley was on steroids or some shit when he fought Oscar
Delahoya won this fight & against Trinidad
mosley knew he lost
"I've never seen Mosley this cut up.." Yea that's exactly why he was caught up in Balco. He was doping and Oscar on cocaine. Lol
The. Commentary been on bull💩throughout the whole fight.
It was a great a great fight from Moseley and Delahoya. The commentary suck I turned off the volume.
Another fight Oscar got robbed in.
De la Hoya definitely won this fight. The Mayweather trained DLH was the best version of him. He went on a great run with Sr.
De la hoya ganó por dos puntos y después mosley dio positivo para drogas que ayudan con mejor rendimiento
The commentating was alot better then
Well Shane is my fighter but just maybe he never done enough to win this time.
no way, 7-5 Oscar and that's being generous by giving 2 very close rounds to him, and I'm a shuga fan, sad
Such a close fight! We were robbed of a true clear winner by not being scheduled for 15 rounds...Championship rounds!!! Bring back 15! It separates the greats from the all-time greats!
Le robaron la pelea a De la Hoya...unos delincuentess.
Shane coulda stopped oscar
Another corrupt judging decision. Clearly a win for the golden boy.
I dont care what anyone else thinks. But these guys won't be able to stand against the modern boxers of today. All they do is head hunt with sloppy punches, bad timing, and accuracy. Back in these guys era boxing is all about blocking punches with your face!
Prime Ray Leonard and prime HITMAN Hearns would’ve given the current ww, Junior ww and even MW divisions major problems. I don’t see any WW today beating prime Hearns fr. There’s not many old school boxers I think would take the new school but there’s some that just look like a problem
@@StayinMotion_ro No they won't dude!! They're not as refined as the boxers of today. And, those so called legends you've mentioned were likely on steroids.

Unanimous? Hell nah!
i had DLH winning. was this the fight that Mosley admitted using PEDs?
This fight was close.
Yeah, no it wasn't
The second 1 could've been a draw 👊👊👊🤝
Oscar won!
Si habláramos de joyas del boxeo; no podríamos dejar de mencionar a Shaney Mosley. Sin duda alguna.
Am I crazy? Or was this fight very slow and seemed more like a sparring session? I don't understand the commentary saying it was going fast and how it was full of action.
I love the shorts wearing by mosley, his grandfather cannot go out.
Shane was also on PEDS
De la Hoya was robbed
Mosley was juicing and was gifted a decision
Mayweather fought these two legends way past their prime
LEGENDS !! 💥💥💥💣💣💣🦁🦁
Floyd wouldn't fight either of these guys when they were in their prime. They fought each other twice in their prime while Floyd ran and hid.
I’d explain the truth to you but your a spic so there’s no hope!
Always got the goats balls in your mouth
@@bondsgoat25For a racist that had to say that you must have got beaten up by a Mexican 😂
You got it backwards because Floyd Mayweather called both of them out when he was up and coming and they did not want to take the risk at that point because they were bigger Stars
@@deanvoss7098 I saw the interview when he mentioned Kostya Tszyu, Shane and Oscar. It was after Floyd's fight with Bruseles in 2005. Oscar just lost 3 in a row, he was 33 and not at his best. His last 2 fights were at middleweight, 160 lbs. Floyd said if Oscar would come down to 147, he would fight him. So Oscar was past his best with 3 losses in a row, 7 years older than Floyd and was fighting at 160. That means clearly that Floyd started talking about Oscar when he had all of the advantages.
The other guys a lot of things are said. If Floyd 'called out' someone it means nothing. Did they fight is the question, and when did they fight. All of his best opponents were fought very late in their careers, which tells the story. There is a long list of names he ducked as well, instead fighting smaller, older, just beaten opponents.
I go by what happened, not what someone said. It's not defendable to make an excuse for dozens of fights that never happened or suspiciously happened very late when Floyd was shamed into taking the fights. He proved my point by finishing against Berto, not ranked in the top 10 welterweights, and Mcgregor, a joke and a mark against his legacy in my opinion.
116-112 Oscar de la hoya
De la hoya dominated this fight SMFH insane robbery.
Everybody knows Mosley was on EPO during the both Oscar fights. Victor Conte had gone on record that Mosley used to come to him from EPO for over a decade. Mosley was on EPO during the Floyd fight too, but floyds was too slick after the first round.
mosley in prime would have finished mayweather
De la Hoya and Trinidad should of rematch
somehow everybody whos on one of their last fights for uncle bob gets robbed
Mosley may be the most mismanaged fighter in the last 30 or 40 years. He should have been a PPV star after beating Oscar De la Hoya TWICE. Instead? He fights high risk/low reward guys like Vernon Forrest (RIP) TWICE, then loses two more against Winky Wright. After this, he was essentially written off like a martini lunch.
This fight is after those loss
@@louisgibson5795 This was before the two losses to Winky Wright. Coming off a hi-profile win against Oscar, Why would Shane then elect to get in the ring with someone impossible to look good against like Winky? And he did it TWICE. Shane was one of my favorite fighters, and he clearly had more talent than Oscar. But Oscar fought more hi-profile signature fights (even though he lost most of them) and made a boatload more money as a result.
@@bengolfs1 not really. Oscar was a better boxer than Mosley. He had a better jab
@@brianticas7671 Mosley beat him twice and proved to be the better fighter. What else do you want?
@@bengolfs1on drugs
Unlike Floyd de la Hoya fought every one in there prime. And in 6 weight classes. He’s over mayweather all time
Both were sloppy and winded throughout the fight, usually it's just one fighter that's just not his night, but it was both of them this time. Mosley always had more power than Oscar, and their first fight it won him the belt.
