    The problem with a lot of people who watch these videos is that they become dependent on these videos to the point that they're doing everything Elliott says, without really thinking for oneself. You can make all the explanations, read all the books, and watch all the documentaries/videos you want on how to achieve whatever you want to achieve, and I'll bet your ass it won't magically make it happen for you. It's all about ACTION, and experience. Less explaining, reading, and hearing.

      Use these videos as something to assist/support you on, not to run your life by what he says.

      Which is exactly what he has been trying to say several times; use your own experience to find out what works and doesn't. He just tells how you can do it.

    Eliot, would you be kind enough to upload a reading list for daily walks? I would really like to listen in on what you do. I have a lot of respect for your mental awareness and motivation to help others, and I can't help but feel that the audio books you listen to daily have something to do with it.
    Thank you for your time and your videos that have helped so many people.

    Another solid video, Elliott. A lot of people say they can't meditate because their mind wanders whenever they give it a try. But everyone's mind wanders, even hardcore monks have wandering minds! The key is notice when your attention has left your breathing (or whatever your anchor is that you're using to keep yourself in the present moment) and gently bring yourself back without judging yourself. Everyone can do this no matter how chaotic their mind may be.

    Another thing to do is if you're still a high school athlete and still git a future ahead of you, take a couple of minutes to get refocused on your goals. Just sit there and think of what you ACTUALLY want to be when you get out of college and use that as your motivation because alot of times with this fast paced world, you lose focus on what you really want

    I like it and I'm gonna employ it but I wish you could have said a bit more about how this effects your work out. Does it just change your mind set abit. Get your body ready to work out? Does it help me focus on complex exercises? Why do it? More info please.

    • @Mysticalearth1
      @Mysticalearth1 10 років тому

      its not aimed at directly helping your working out, its a mental exercise that can help you if well performed to be able to calm yourself down, and let go of worries. Google the benefits of meditation, and you will see the point and the positive side effects of it

    I'm 14 and I have a problem with a elbow, where on my left side it's a little bit less dense and not as thick or dense as you might say then my right. I have a hypothesis and i'm pretty sure it's because I have used my right arm a whole lot more during my life. It's the same with my wrist on my left side also. I watched the video you made the wrist and the whole joint movement with grabbing, pulling, etc. And I am confused on whether to do that and if it will help density with my elbow and some of the correct exercises. I know there is a way to increase bone density. I just need help finding the right exercises to help me increase bone density and my wrist and joints. It would be great if you could help.

    This is the easiest way to meditate, the hardest for me is focusing on my breathe but then somehow not controlling it. All it does for me is make me anxious about my breathing. I’ve noticed more results from the 2 touch mindfulness meditation anyway.
