Matt, I really enjoyed your song! I remember a time not so long ago that your band The National, opened for REM, along with Modest Mouse, and during part of either the early set of MM or possibly REM, too, I just remember, because I was there, at Red Rocks in Colorado, when you walked up to exactly where I was at in the row I was in, around the 17th row I think it was, and checked out the bands you were there with that day. I remember saying hi to you, you probably don't remember ;) I remember really enjoying the whole night, I hadn't heard of your band before that night, and had barely heard of MM, I lucked out on that ticket, as I remember.
