Alex, thanks for the review! I have a C920, but need a second camera (to replace my ancient C310, lol) for online teaching. You cleared up a few of my concerns & love the side by side, since I am familiar with the things I saw on your C920. So...I have a question that you might have an answer for. Have you tested the auto-focus range, by chance? If so, how well does the C930e accommodate super close-up images? I am trying to figure out what the range is for up close details (or does it blur out like most cameras)? Thanks in advance :-)

I got the outdoor mounting kit for them and they were easy to install. Once you download the app, it walks you through the very easy set up. The clarity, and range is awesome. I am thinking seriously about adding another camera or two to my 3 camera system. The price is lower than a lot of comparable systems.

the c930e is a bit warmer in color temperature but there may be an adjustment for that in the settings.

Thanks I'm looking to buy 4 for podcast show via OBS and use elgato stream deck as a switcher. I definitely think the c930e is the option for me. big help. much richer tones and sharper quality even though it's not as "natural" I think it will boost the overall screen experience.

hi, I have a question, I wd be glad if you answer. I need cam / webcam but not for primarly to capture myself in front of my computer. Im an IT professional and at work, during IT projects a lot of people colleagues reflecting their computer screens to show software and make presentations. We have projectors in meeting rooms which we connect to computers and reflect to a white screen. So I need to cam these presentations from the white screen. I wont be very far away from the screen but, what kind of cam/web cam I need for this ? For good quality capturing ? And is this cam can to that ? Can do some zoom in to fit the white board where the presentation is done ? Light etc. ? because Im going to try to shoot an illimunated screen where software screens and ux are shown. Im not a youtuber or boardcaster so is this cam is way too expensive for what I m going to use it for ? thk u
There is also a slight delay with the 920. Sound is great on 930
The C930 seems to refocus more in this video, especially in the beginning, but both the image and sounds of the C930 is better.
The C930e does do a lot more smaller adjustments. But they are barely noticeable. Also to me it seems like the C930e has better color. It's a bit richer. More saturated. I just found a used one for a total of $35. Seems worth it. We'll see how it goes. Thanks for the comparison.

I have exactly the same issue with autofocus of C930e. It tries to change focus so many times that is becomes annoying.

i bought a used C920 on ebay. It arrived today. It was a C930e instead it's very good compared to my friend's C920

930e это лотерея! купил 2.. 1я нормально, вторая мыло как тут 920 и даже хуже! автофокус прыгает.
The difference for such a small price difference is YUGE. The 930 is so crisp in comparison, I don't understand why people keep the focus on tbh

C920 looks better more natural just look at his face. .It is true C930 have better contrast but again it does not look so natural with more contrast i like c920 what can i say. Choice is yours.
What I see is that the C920 has a small Delay and the C930e did not , that's is my observation from here .

huge price difference between both. i got the 920 for about 50$ and i think the 930 is twice as much... unless u need the tiny improvement , i would suggest go with 920 if u find it for cheap.
when it comes to tech, if you have the money NEVER go cheap..
Its not twice as much. The C920 is 54.00 (BH Photo) and the C930 is 59.00 (Wireless So Shop). That is a 5.00 price difference. If it was double the price, wouldn't that make the c930 108.00?

Poor choice of colors: red for T-shirt and background and that's why both cameras struggle to get a focus.

Turn off the auto focus. Unless you are doing gymnastics at a distance you don't need it.

Эм да как бэ о чем тут говорить 930e это логическое продолжение 920. Вообще я бы назвал её 925ой а в 930 еще должнен был быть звук лучше при записи по логике. Но факт фактом? видео пишет получше , но звук так же фигово пишет. А вообще не стремно так сидеть с флагом США. Или грин кард обещали?
