- nVc checks out the C930e webcam from Logitech designed for business use. How does it stack up against the C920 as a Twitch streamers webcam though? Should the general consumer consider it? Why is it even a business webcam anyway? The increased FOV is certainly tempting, but is it worth it if you're not just using Skype or Microsoft Lync for business?

We’ve only had the cameras up and running for a short time. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxOXxsTZ3ptV_Pk0fFl8bNZvVqeoqBQFwe So far we love them! I got the outdoor mounting kit for them and they were easy to install. Once you download the app, it walks you through the very easy set up. The clarity, and range is awesome. I am thinking seriously about adding another camera or two to my 3 camera system. The price is lower than a lot of comparable systems.
Unlike most reviewers, you actually give an in-depth comparison.

BEST review I've seen for webcams. Having you switch between the webcams seamlessly, as well as giving us a visual landmark for comparison made this review perfect beyond words.

A great and detailed comparison. As a streamer with 920 I can't see myself moving to 930 after I saw the minimal image quality difference.
To help me decide which to get, today I watched more than dozen reviews of the C920 and C930e and this is the best one! The content was well organized and I appreciate the way you demonstrate the differences (tell me, show me), and conclude with an excellent summary that is what clarified the differences in a way that made it easy for me to chose. As I won't be gaming and doing any rapid movement the C930e is the one for me. Moving from content to presentation, you speak at a rapid pace, avoiding common cause of UA-camr bordom. As required to achieve what you set out to, the video is a bit longer than average, but it doesn't seem so because all the information is relevant and engaging. Finally, I have to say I enjoy your Anglo accent. Great job & thanks for your help.
Only thing I'd add to this is I found it hard to hear at times, would appreciate a higher volume on the video.

There's a reason why pretty much everyone prefer the c920. Software mainly.
If you could combine the c920 software with the c930e field of view we would be in nirvana. How can logitech still not update their webcams?

I'm using the Logitech 930 to stream live feed. However I want to use OBS to set up the best quality of the cam. I can only find OBS Studio, and the settings are different from your video.

Super review. I've attached a wide angle adapter to my present webcam - works well. Managed to get an adapter mount to fit it (MS LifeCam is round.) I've had it since 2012. Looking to upgrade.

Great review mate! Question, you mentioned that the C920 had video capturing software, I assume that also includes Photo capturing software (forgive me if you already mentioned it, I must've missed it)? I'm looking into buying it for stopmotion >_
I was able to disable automatic exposure with the C930e using Logitech Gaming Software (under advanced). It doesn't do the light adjustment anymore with that "Auto" checkbox unticked -- this sounds like it was your main gripe with the C930e?

Excellent comparison between the two cameras and, just as important, their available settings! I never understand why a company would have a useful software feature for a device and then leave that feature out of the next, supposedly better, model.

+ScanComputersTV *Thanks for the diff on the Logitech® stereo 1080p cameras.* The C930e looks better suited for the close-in installations typical of busy offices, which makes it a prospective upgrade from my QuickCam® S7500 (an older Logitech product with a built-in lens cover) - my Web station is pretty tight. Is the lens cover shown here separately available for, or even prepackaged with, the entire C900 family of USB 2.0 cameras? (I noticed it on the C930e and not the C920 this vid.)

Honestly you can't get any better than the Logitech webcams, I would wait for the right price and go with a c920 or c930e. They'll regularly go on sale during the year.
Thank you very much for this epic video review. Gonna rewatch it in an hour. I just bought Logitech C930e. I got it at a huge discount and cheap one day shipping. Shipping was $8.99 for one day shipping. I do tons of videos been using a webcam for 6 years. Needed something better and HD 1080p quality picture at 60fps. My webcam currently 780p 15 fps. Which this new as you said be unbeatable!!!

On Mac you can use "Webcam Settings" app from app store to edit ALL available settings for all web cameras (C920 in my case). You can disable focus, right light, led lights and setup manual exposure, white balance etc. Super tool, very recommended!

I have a view out the window and many time parrots land on the balcony. I have the Logitech9000 and looking out the window at birds is a poor result. Would the C920e be better for that situation. Another bug bear is disabling the inbuilt mic. Please advise.
