I love that Tony chose to focus on the music from this era over retreading a night of old music.
Anno Mundi has got to be my favorite Sabbath song.
Fantastic song with an unparalled feeling/vibe. Nothing less than spectacular. It's the foundation for the modern epic doom subgenre.
😱
Only non-ozzy era Sabbath tune that can surpass, sometimes, depending the mood, it's the shinning with Ray Gillen. I love Dio, but his Sabbath stint aint got such titan tracks as Anno Mundi or The Shinning. Epicness, heavy riffing, wild and thunderous rythm, maybe Computer God s a worth mention on that level. I, with time, realised that their Devil You Know was their most distinctive and cohesive effort, free from Ozzy era shadow, and a sense of belonging arouse back then, they simply were able to bring a unique record on their own, wich i was floored to admit they could pull off such feat at their age.
Me too of ALL of them it is SO well written and performed you can hear Tony Martins touch as well twisted vocal melodies!

Thx for posting Setlist 🎵🎼🎶🎸😎👊
Well done
Thanks pal
@@richardhincemon9423 No, it isn't. He cheats out on the high notes in When Death Calls and several other tracks from the first three Martin albums. The only live recording I've heard of him not doing so is the live recording from the '89 tour of Eternal idol. It's here on the Tube.
What a voice.. one of the best ever
They almost reduced the setlist 40 percent after these first gigs for the remainder of the 1990 European tour. A shame! Great setlist here!
Incredible setlist.
AAAAAAAYYYY!
I like martin era
Tony Martin at his best...fantastic era❤️
I saw them with the same line up in Rome September 1990. Tony Martin's pitch, power and sound...just unbelievable
I saw the show in St. Wendel Germany on 20/10/1990. I had a handshake with Cozy when he came out of the tour bus to enter the hall. A magic moment that is still in my mind. RIP Cozy.
I was there sat up the back! Bittersweet memories as it was only 9 days after my Mom had passed 😞
Tony is exceptional as a singer and hits all the notes I hear on the album right here! Awesome live album form all on board!
Great rendition of underrated tracks such as 'Anno mundi' an 'The lawmaker'. Tony Martin's voice was pretty good back then and the whole band sounds tight as hell.
Yes, "The Lawmaker" is an incredible son. The first three Tony Martin albums are all so great.
This Anno Mundi rendition s the shit. Tyr s My favorite Martin era lp. Cozy Powell was thunderous on this years. What a treat this concert was to see live.
What a show!!
Martin deserves his return in Sabbath
I would love if he could sing all his songs.
Tony Martin era is the best version of Black Sabbath!
Didn't get to see this tour I saw Cross Purposes and Forbidden tours but TYR is my favorite Martin album Feels Good To Me
This a great set list and probably one the longest Sabbath shows they've ever done or at least a long time. This tour didn't come to the states, but i did see the Headless Cross, Cross Purposes and Forbidden tour.
Yeh for sure he lost it later, but this is just fucking superb, Tonys voice is reaching all those high notes and his range is just something else,....... Sabbath at their very best, Tony, Neil, Cozy, Toni and Geoff, ........ never surpassed and a fucking delight to all that hear them.
I was there! Circus of Power were support. After cozys drum solo they had to give him oxygen, great night!
You are lucky! I love C.O.P. and the Martin era Sabbath.
Best fucking set list ever!! my god
Uau… An official DVD of this gig would be a jewel of hard & heavy music.
Hell even an official release of the soundboard would be amazing
Great setlist. Love Tyr, it’s one of their best collection of songs, IMO.
And their I was, at my first Black Sabbath gig!
🤘🏻
This is really beautiful. I'm glad so many people enjoy this.
What a setlist!
This is the best show, setlist wise of all of the Martin era Sabbath shows. Cozy Powell (R.I.P) sounds awesome, as always. Thanks to whoever posted this. This is great! Cloak & Dagger is performed here too! Unreal.
Yes Indeed mate
Not Cloak & Dagger man, it is a heart like a wheel. Bit similar sound, but different songs from different cds
@@rodrigozzy You are right about that, of course. It took me a while to realize that, realize that I wrote the comment 2 years ago.
@@michaelrandle8316 I figured as much lol It is just that I read that and had to listen to the show again (even tho o have had it for over 20 years) to try to find it lol I was like WTF how did I miss that
The lawmaker played in a metallica fast way😂 Tony barely breaths!!! Amazing
45:03 "Tony is fuckin brilliant!"
Cozy : you are with us till the last day.
this bootleg is so amazing
Saw them in copenhagen TYR tour , they were absolutely fantastic ! ❤🎸❤🎸 underated line up 2 say the least !
wow, what a set list, no wonder Tony blew his voice out, and they trimmed the set list later on, the damage was done though. A fabulous studio vocalist now.
Tyr and Headless Cross....excellent albums imho! And the huge sound!
What a set list... 🤩🤘
Feels good to me 😍
Cozy Powell descascando a bateria é sempre bom de se ouvir!!!
("Sgt.J.").I, am very intrigued... Thanks for sharing. Recording. Thanks
✌️🕊️
Great show, thank you for uploading!
Thanks for sharing!
Great concert! The sound quality is surprisingly good. Thanks for uploading!
Magnificent era of Sabbath. Cozy Powell. My gods. The thunder he brought to Sabbath. Going all Stargazer at the end of Anno Mundi. I'd love to see a remixed official archive release of this.
Muito obrigado a quem teve o bom senso e inteligencia de postar o audio desse show! Sensacional!
A hell of a concert! Tony Martin at his best
If we ever get time travel, it's THIS night I'm going back to.
set list impressionante
The only time they ever did 'Feels good to me' live.
What a show, Martin's voice is insane here and the set is great
I loved it
47:47 Tony used to play that fast riff during the 1977 tour
AWESOME !!!
36:00 The shining !!!!
I've always wanted to listen to the Best song in the world "The Shining" alive.
@@danielarias1203 me too
This lineup is almost a Sabbathsnake, isn't it? Two past Whitesnake members, Cozy Powell and original Whitesnake bassist Neil Murray
White sabbath? Haha
@@RAREDEATHMETAL White bath?^^
It's very cool to see how Deep Purple and Black Sabbath traded members. Especially with DP's spin off bands Whitesnake and Rainbow. Dio, Craig Gruber, Ian Gillan, Glenn Hughes, Bob Daisley, Neil Murray, and of course Cozy Powell. David Coverdale was considered for Sabbath twice. First after Dio left but was busy with Whitesnake and second when Cozy joined up with Iommi for the album that became Headless Cross but Cozy enjoyed Tony Martin's singing and asked Iommi to bring him back.
What a set list!!!!
Very good album and concert
Pretty much my dream set list for a Martin era show! Except I’d replace “Feels good to Me” with “Ancient Warrior” and “Paranoid” with “Devil and Daughter”
I wish people would upload 720 p and above as default, but that aside, what a great concert.
It takes a long time to upload a 2 hour video in 720p and above.
Nunca uma introdução caiu tão perfeitamente assim
Genial!!!!
Geoff Nicholls pic is missing on that artwork.
Unfortunately he seems to get somewhat overlooked in the overall Sabbath story. He was a big factor in their live sound from the early 80's thru early 00's. He also sang backing vocals and played some guitar while he was in the shadows on stage but only got mentioned as a keyboardist. R.I.P. Geoff \,,/, ,\,,/
@@thewurm9177 True that. I have Iron Man to read, maybe Iommi says something about keeping Geoff in the shadows, I dont get it.
Epic!!!!
Que genialidad esa banda
crowd was psyched up for War Pigs
Muito bom 🤘
🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Feels Good To Me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Best Sabbath LINE UP
When Death Calls! fucking flawless!
What?? That is a long setlist!
Muy bueno el recital. Hace mucho tiempo estaba buscando recital de la gira de TYR.
Saben si este recital se puede encontrar en cd?
si, en São Paulo brazil.
Ward
I want it too
The Shining sounds totally different with Powell in drums;)
Stacked set list
Martin the best ever.
Cool
Gold
I was wondering. Why if you’re doing the Tyr tour do you not add Jerusalem to this set list? I feel it’s one of if not the best songs on the record? Anyone disagree?
Even if I must admit that I struggle a bit to call this band "Black Sabbath", I do actually like what the guys do here! Thumb up!
If Iommi’s there, it’s Sabbath
@@FNAFEDITS171 I will be utterly pragmatic: If they officially call themselves Black Sabbath, I call them Black Sabbath.
That's been my point for years. If Tony Iommi just done the same records with Tony Martin under a different name, they would be hailed as his best work
IOMMI is Sabbath
the definition of epic doom metal
Anyone have this on CD?
Fuckin’ great show!
Thanks for posting!!! Is this anywhere for sale???
This copy is In japan i think, cd-r. Sorry by the slow answer haha.
That's why TI reunited with RJ Dio.

I was at a live show during the Cross Purposes tour and as well I saw a dozen of recorded concerts, and I'm sorry to say but Tony Martin's voice was disappointing. However, at last, here He is really great. 😀
Ars Poenica Martin was at his best on the Tyr tour.
On the Headless Cross tout he had really great moments but not like the Tyr tour. During thé Eternal Idol he was good but not really confortable with the songs yet.
On cross purposes tour he was sick he had a throat infection and he damaged his voice. That is why he was so disappointed. He recovered after but never had the same level unfortunately...
FUDIDO DEMAIS!!!!!! \m/
Heart Like A Wheel is kinda a weird choice from Seventh Star. i wish it was Seventh Star or Danger Zone
Tony Iommi brilliant guitar showcase 👏
Too bad that ain't played Valhalla and Heaven in Black.
41:35 “great riff” shut up Beavis
Idk if I’d want to call this Black Sabbath. I don’t even like calling the dio era sabbath. Not that it ain’t any good it has its own identity
I can guarantee that this is a received opinion. I doubt that you would say that after Paul Dianno left Iron Maiden that they should've changed their name.
IOMMI is Sabbath
@@richardhincemon geezer butler and bill ward is sabbaths heart and soul man
@@sp4cepigz174I first saw Sabbath in 72,75 and 77 original members but my favorite shows were on September 26th Charlotte coliseum Heaven and Hell tour and the Mob Rules tour February 16th and 26th Charlotte and Greensboro NC 82 . Ozzy was great entertainment but couldn't deliver the vocals live and Vinny Appice was a powerhouse drummer great tribute to John Bonham who passed away on September 25th 1980 . Cheers 🍻 😊
I saw Ken tamplin saying he was the weakest of the sabbath singers and he couldn’t sing live 😂
