@@briantooleyracing3554 what type of lifters are used per application (street/cruiser - street/strip - Racing - etc) and why. "THAT ENGINE GUY" on UA-cam has a good video on lifters (LS Lifter comparison) but it's very performance based. It would be nice to have something similar but covering the whole spectrum of lifter.
@OlivierV9000 well honestly if the valve train system is well designed and has minimal loft or closing bounce, Delphi or LS7 lifters are fine for upwards of 8000 RPM. Some of our competitors' cams and applications with a lot of closing bounce due to valve mass like LSA intake valves (120 grams), or aftermarket stainless LS3 or LS7 intake valves (120+ grams) would benefit from a Johnson lifter like the 2110R. Basically valve trains with excellent stability don't need anything special other than good Delphi/LS7 lifters, and any application where stability can be a issue due to RPM, lobe design or valve mass needs more durable lifters like 2110R.
Whatever you decide dont get Morel. I bought a set and its been a nightmare.
