he did everything alright, but he should recalibrate the steering sensor by inpa or dis. u can find it in inpa in dxc8 module or something like this i dont remember. ITS A ASNWER FOR OLDER COMMENTS.
Not so easy actually which way up do the new one gos in with writing towards the steering wheel or the other way ? Also you need to make sure your steering wheel is positioned properly before putting it back together 😢
Hi, I've heard that if you're getting constant 4x4 light, you should try to calibrate the steering angle sensor, not change it. Do you know how to do that? What is meant by recalibration and how to do it. Thanks
If you change out the sensor for a new one, you will need to have the new one coded for your vehicle, otherwise you'll still get the same warning lights on the dash.
emin3nt have you fixed it? Mine is the same and apparently my sensor is faulty, the light is on because the vehicle stability control is not working because it isn’t getting a steering angle signal.

Suspend the car completely off the ground. Then turn the steering to the left until it locks. Do so for the right . It should clear

If the Sensor is new,you only need to calibrate it with Rheingold
