Taiwan is set to come out of ‘soft lockdown’ next week. Once that happens, we’ll resume the normal schedule. Let’s hope we don’t have any setbacks!

4:50 Great game, but lying to students is a big no-no.

Fair enough. In my opinion, telling this small one actually benefits the students because it quashes any argument and keeps the activity moving.
I’m not distorting their reality or teaching untrue facts. I’m managing class time and expectations.

@@GuysWithGamesESL And then they find out you lied to them so they start lying to others thinking if you can do it, they can do it too.
Please repent, and accept Jesus Christ as the Son of God.

@@earlysda Last month, a student asked me if Santa Claus was real. Not knowing what her parents had been telling her, I was less than 100% truthful in my response.
The point I’m trying to make here is that knowing when and how to conceal the whole truth is a useful skill and social norm. I don’t believe it causes any harm and, in fact, is the path of least resistance.
You are free to actually ask 100 students for their answers to the questions to create a truthful survey, but I don’t think the way I do it is malicious, and certainly doesn’t provoke eternal consequences.

@@GuysWithGamesESL Concealing the truth is evil. You are free to lie, but no liars go to heaven. Please repent, and resolve to tell the truth to everyone in the future.

No no. We’re still here. We’re just waiting for the new school semester. Most of our viewers are either on summer break, or teaching online. We’ll get going again in a few weeks.
