I just love that they do their homes with the homeowners in mind. Like everything you see comes with the house. Bring your clothes and pots and pans and you're done!!
You guys rock. I was born and raised in Detroit but have lived on the west coast for the last 50 years. It does my heart good to see people such as yourselves revitalizing this once great city.
I love these two guys. What they have taken on over the last few years that I have watched their show makes me respect them immensely. They work hard, they are talented, and they are "doing good in their area". Stars in their heavenly crowns. Keep up the good work!
I would have moved the back door over & used the nook as the back entryway. Then the old back entry space could be closed off & used as the bedroom closet. The bedroom could now be enlarged by adding the hall space to it. The old bedroom closet is closed off to be used as a linen closet with access from the hallway. The new bedroom door is accessed from that same area.
downstairs is very busy with all the patterns and colors and I do like the fact that the upstairs in this case is a bit more simple and not to overcrowded
Absolutely love this show. One of my favorites. Good job on fixing up the houses and selling them for affordable prices. Love all 3 of you. 😀😀😀😀😀😀. I am so glad you are back for a new season. Thanks 😀😀
I love what you guys are doing for Detroit. I was born there in late 1948 so I grew up in the 1950's on the west side . which now is not much left of my area. My Dad passed in 1961 & Mom remarried in 1963 to a man from a small town in Ohio so i moved with her. There are times even now when I miss Detroit.
@@JayYoung-ro3vu My memory could be playing tricks! I recall that @beckysnyder DID reply, and said life had worked out well for her. Something about the cost involved in revisiting Detroit was a barrier. But there is no such comment to be seen. Either way, it was lovely hearing a little about her young childhood memories here.
@comealongcomealong4480 Hearing her story is lovely. Is fine about the sources. I attended a conference in Detroit about 2003. I stayed at a once beautiful hotel that had been split between public housing n lower floors with hotel remains on the upper floors. I distinctly recall the imposing Michigan Central Station and asking about it. There was still pride but concern spoken about it. They bussed us up to xx Mile Road. Saw for myself the gutting and ruin that had befallen the Motor City. It's heartwarming to see "Rust Belt cities" turning around and at least slowing the rate of population decline. Heard that collectively, cities are seeing small gains?
Alot of care & details in this home! The way he does walls is awesome & this is one of my favorite renovated homes so far! I miss y'all on TV, bring this show back!! ❤❤
People don't need 2 places to eat and the nook seemed cramped. I would have repurposed it into a nice office. One could even add a large curtain and have it closed while working and open when not, and easy to take a coffee break then also!
Surprized they took out window by chimney. I would have left both windows n built bookcases to flank fireplace. Very symmetrical, n in keeping with craftsman design.
Be encouraged! Both of you have your heart inline with what people need. I pray you both prosper and that most importantly you both are in great health! I'm very proud of you both!
Loved the house and all the green! Except in the breakfast nook coz it looked a little dark in that corner. Maybe a pantry would've been better? That dining area was elegant. They did a wonderful job.
I thought the breakfast nook looked dark and small with that paint color on all the walls too - They should have just painted the wall with the window green and painted the two side walls white to make the space "look" a little brighter and more open.
Charming. Next time don't cover the windows next to the fireplace. Those are a classic selling point. If the sun was beaming in too much put up some short, shirred sheers. Then you'd get a soft glow that would light the room but no glare.
You two guys are the best. You'll are doing such a wonderful job saving all these houses. Every house you complete is so unique and beautiful. Your real estate agent sorry can't recall her name is super in work and looks. What a lovely person you'll are so blessed to have her. Keep up the very good work and God Bless You'll
Some very interesting design elements… ❤ the kitchen! Disappointed in the FOCAL POINT FIREPLACE! I mean, weren’t the bungalow windows supposed to POP?!?!
I hope your videos will be a little longer cause I love all your designs your very creative I think 9 or 10 minutes is too short to showcase your beautiful creations
My guy lol i had to do that many times in my long life lol. Making a belt outta everything from extension cords, rope, electrical wire etc lol lmao 🤣 😅😅😂
😊me encanta este programa,es mejor que las renovadores desde que sale karen yo no lo veo me cae mal la aviación de mina y trata de ser simpática, pero se nota que es todo es por dinero, ellos son más simpáticos y humildes.
Drapes flanking fireplace is a big no for me. 14 grand is NOTHING. I just got a house ready to sell and yard cleanup, painting, a couple of small plumbing fixes, total check up and cleaning, and inspection of the pellet stove, building five steps off the deck and staining the deck was almost 13 grand. So, it they got all that for 14 grand, they are very fortunate. Why are they showing that house with ALL the drapes closed? Just dark and heavy. Oh well, none of my business.
Not a fan of the patterned walls. I just see the cost of changing it if i had to buy the house. Also not a fan of retro stiling as that only appeals to a small % of buyers
Such a lived-in looking transformation! What happened to the second window over the fireplace, and what's with the curtains hanging all cattywampus around the mantle?
The "breakfast nook" would also make a great "office" space for computer, file cabinets, office supplies, bookself needed for work etc.
AND OR A PANTRY TOO, BUT A REALLY CUTE OFFICE
Glad you’re saving houses from being torn down, recycling in a big way!
Cute. I wish they had shown the new upstairs bathroom they planned.
Same

That's a lot of money.

@beckysnyder4591 (2 mo later) Loved your recollection here of mid-C20th Detroit. Maybe time for a revisit? I hope life has been kind to you in Ohio.
@@comealongcomealong4480 Am hoping Ohio life was kind to her as well.

Wow the living room was beautiful,,so homely comfy and warm… ❤
Just wow. This house is going to make someone an amazing home.
I watch you on Bargain Block. You guys are amazing. Love your reno videos.
Gorgeous kitchen and nook, bathroom so well done....and the greatest points are the unique and creative walls. Thank you for sharing 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Alot of care & details in this home! The way he does walls is awesome & this is one of my favorite renovated homes so far! I miss y'all on TV, bring this show back!! ❤❤
the interior that those guys do are never boring
Evan is so funny when listening to Keith next moves. They are just adorable and talented!
My favorite show on HGTV, can't wait to see the new series coming up in the fall of 2024❤
Geniuses! So beautiful. The creative expression on the walls and art is just gorgeous
This was a beautiful project but the "breakfast nook" could have been a pantry or a little laundry area.❤🎉
5:07 that was so sweet ❤ u r a very kind human
Good vibes, I love seeing them!!❤
People don't need 2 places to eat and the nook seemed cramped. I would have repurposed it into a nice office. One could even add a large curtain and have it closed while working and open when not, and easy to take a coffee break then also!
Every hour is better than the last .❤❤

My favorite HGTV show
Kinda wish they had not put drapes over the windows that flank the fireplace. Keith said he loved the windows but we cannot see them.
He had to tie the "green" checkerboard paint over the fireplace
They probably were there to block out the view outside and not accidentally film the neighbours
Be encouraged! Both of you have your heart inline with what people need. I pray you both prosper and that most importantly you both are in great health! I'm very proud of you both!

Mud/ laundry room. Who needs a breakfast nook with that pretty dining room and small space?
Beautiful work! Just hope you aren't pricing people out of the neighborhood.
On your craftsman mood board I didn't see any geometric designs. But the transformation is just beautiful ❤️❤️
I love to see all your shows ! Y’all make so much sense! Ya take trash and make it a treasure ❤️ keep going you have encouraged me so much !! ❤
😮. OMG. Beautiful, y'all always doin an amazing job. It's perfect. Love it 💞

It was probably there for filming purposes so that the neighbours wouldn’t be taped.
One of my favorites. Bravo

So gorgeous, I loved every room. Well done guys.
Beautiful...love the swirl wall and checkerboard!
You guys are amazing I look so forward to each show ❤❤❤
Love the work these guys do but, why didn't they show the rest of the upstairs (second bathroom and additional bedroom)?
It’s not the full episode. The full episodes are on the website of HGTV.
Beautiful transformation love the accent walls
Right on with the Craftsman style. Great job!
Beautiful guys!!!💕💕💕
This is so awesome house you did! I love it. Great job, guys!
Easy like!! The dining room is the gem.
Beautiful transformation but not a big fan of the checkerboard & geometric patterns. It seems to cheapen the look.
when they removed the Wooding from the fire place there was someone old photo and cd i think they didn't notice but for anyone looking 3:47
Very nice . Lots of heart goes into every place they work on .
I don’t like the checker board but the rest looks amazing and I love the furniture choices for this one ❤
Loved the kitchen.
You guys are the best. Your show is the best. Cant wait to see all the new shows. Love you guys
Some very interesting design elements… ❤ the kitchen!
Disappointed in the FOCAL POINT FIREPLACE! I mean, weren’t the bungalow windows supposed to POP?!?!
Another beautiful creative home.
Un saludo desde Viña del Mar , Chile y mi admiración por su trabajo ..son geniales , amo su show❤

Will you guys ever show the new owners of your masterpieces

Why were all of the curtains closed? (Especially the ones by the fireplace)
Really cute house.
Privacy you can’t film the outside without the neighbours permission
Great save
It looks so much better, next stop va?
The colors on the fireplace were really horrible😮
Some questionable design choices 😳 that made the house feel chaotic instead of cohesive
Agreed.
I know who used to own that it was beautiful he paid 28 years on it but walked away from it due to neighborhood was getting to much.
Love the Kitchen and Bathroom, I love modern, bright and clean looking. Antique looks don't appeal to me at all.
Gosto do trabalho deles mas acho que deveria mudar um pouco as bacanas da cozinha sempre de madeira😊
Exquisite ❤!!!!!!!!!!
Do you still sell the homes interior also.
Genius man
You took the second window out next to the fireplace?!!!! Noooo!!
Need to use lined curtains.
Love it

I wish they could come to my house!
Do keep in mind that you would have to pay for all the renovations. They’re not renovating your house for free lol
When did they get the dog?
Love the house, but I have a strong dislike for small bathrooms
The color of the kitchen…
You should rehab 3226 Columbus ($2500)
i dont like all the accent walls but the house looks beautiful
It is just stunning 😍.
KEITH IS THE VINCENT VAN GOUGH OF DETROIT!
I challange you to do a house with no gray.
I don't like the feature wall in the living room!!
