Evan and Keith secured this home in hopes of turning it into a "Country Estates House." As renovations began, first-time buyer Diamond had other ideas for the build, which led Evan and Keith to scrap their original plans.

I think the buyer is a Detroit Hip Hop artist and she bought herself a really good house, small but spacious inside and decorated with its own urban vibes just like she had asked for. I would buy myself this house too with no hesitation. Good job, Evan and Keith.

Please come to Charleston West Virginia our city officials and mayor are demolishing the vacant houses. Their goal this year is 300 house to demo. These houses are beautiful! Nothing wrong with them just vacant because our population has declined since 1987 consecutively. The population has become interesting since it’s sooo cheap to live in Charleston. No industry no economy

Bonjour! Please consider visiting the National recognized, designated Luna Park historic preservation district. Luna Park was an amusement site with amenities swimming pool and roller coaster 1900-1920. The facility suffered a fire and dissipated. The area sites was subdivided into 440 residential structures. Currently the Luna Park historic district is in disarray. Lacking resources, and guidance to maintain the existing structures. City officials have adopted a budget to demolish Luna Park preservation properties. The Charleston WV land bank list has obtained properties but does not allow to purchase properties. The properties listed on Land Bank are listed as unavailable to purchase. Help!!!!!!

Absolutely! Don't know about a permit but a person's life is worth one.
if anything that tiny window wouldn't pass inspection because a bedroom requires egress, in case of a fire. Same with the bedroom that is staged as an office. Bigger!

Where do they find these cheap houses in this recession 😢? Also, are the areas of these houses safe?
Detroit. Not the most desirable or safest but cheap houses are going to be in cheap areas. You can’t expect a 15k house to be in the safest trendiest most desirable neighborhood in a city where everyone and their momma wants to move to.
Once they redo the block, homeowners can turn the neighborhood around. Hopefully it will spread out to surrounding streets. People are paying a fortune in rent these days. Better to buy a house in a neighborhood in transition. She said her father lives nearby. So she knows the neighborhood. Someone moving from elsewhere may view it differently. Don't think these guys would go to a really unsafe area. Someone might strip out the house before it sold! 😂😢

I would love to own one of their houses but not in Detroit. Wish they would travel and make people’s dream come true that are actually looking to buy small homes. There are a lot of seniors that need affordable housing.
They probably couldn't make a business case for buying homes in the suburbs since Detroit is full of properties that can be scooped up for pocket change. This $15k property is actually on the expensive side for them. "Seniors" can live in Detroit affordably too.
The problem is that they would have to live in similar areas where it is possible to buy a house cheaply, renovate it and sell it for an affordable price. You can’t buy a 15k house if the comps are 700k lol.

Yeah they seemed to be really big on style over function with their show. They really needed a woman to be a mediator/designer to help them with the functionality of most of their rehabs.

I Noticed that Keith and Evan, When they do Homes with Upstairs, Their is No Bathroom, and they never mentioned anything about Upgrading the Basement, It's nice for her. But for $15,000. Selling this House for $102,000 which is a Profit of $87,000. That they could afford to do from Top to Bottom.
Dude... your math is so off. They bought the house for 15 thousand. They then spent 50 thousand on the renovation. So their profit was 37 thousand. Not 87. Adding a bathroom out of nowhere would take away almost all of their profit. Are they supposed to work for free ?

@@jillmarshall4718 MOST bungalow homes like this in Detroit do not have a bathroom upstairs. That is not an expectation here. And the neighborhoods that most of the homes they renovate are located in would not bring a meaningful return on that type of investment (this neighborhood included)... Nor would finishing an unfinished basement. It made perfect sense to renovate it the way they did. Doing more than they did to this house in the area that it's in would have been over-improving.
@@Stressless2023 When it all said and done, It doesn't make any kind of Sense not to put a Bathroom upstairs. If you have Family over, Climbing down just to use the only bathroom is really pointless. They do a great job, If you purchased the House, then you should Remodel the House,!
@@jillmarshall4718 It makes perfect sense not to put a bathroom upstairs - Maybe it makes sense where YOU live, but not in these old bungalow style homes in Detroit. Virtually none of them have that feature here and it is not an expectation like I said. Waste of money for an investor.

Yuck. Seeing into the bathroom from a public space, walking out of the bathroom into a public space is gross. This creates additional problems as well.
Office and master bedroom space needed more light. Kitchen must've turned out bad...

Yeah they deleted the little hallway entrance to the bathroom/2nd bedroom and made everything directly accessible from the living space which was a bad design. Most of their rehabs are too much "style over function".
