AJ I love the way you support other people...chefs that design the recipes or not......your support = humility. Can’t find a lot of that these days. Loved Andrew and his honest outlook. Thanks for interviewing him.

I'm old, the weight will not come off like when I was young, but, when Andrew went on the year-long potato diet I tried all potatoes for a month, Iost 4 sizes without realizing, and my pants almost fell off, I happened to be at yard sale, so I was able to buy a pair of slacks to get me through the day, fully clothed. Anytime I want to lose a few pounds, just go back on the potato diet for a week or so. never hungry and very satisfying

I'm old too & can't loose weight even being vegan. How did you do this diet??

Like Andrew said, just potatoes no fat. However, when I use the potato diet now, I add the frozen California blend (carrots, broccoli, cauliflower of frozen vegs with the potato, I eat about 8 medium potatoes, for my weight/size either cooked with the instant pot or in the microwave

Hi AJ, I live about 3 and a half hours from Andrew and we have wombat burrows on our property and koalas who visit our trees. My hubby took a photo of a Mum and here Joey in our backyard. I fid Andrews spudfit challenge in 2016, lost 10kg and lowered my cholesterol. Andrew rocks! And so do spuds!

I wanted to be your FIRST comment, Chef AJ!! I always love your blingy LV ball cap!! I found out about Andrew "SpudFit" Taylor through you when I was attending Kelley Williamson's Parker, CO Plant-Based Summit. I started following Andrew after the Summit, then bought his e-cookbook a few weeks ago-- I love it --its beautiful and soo inspiring with all the vegan guru contributors' recipes & bios. I printed it on a home printer, it took 1/2 a day, 2 cartridges of ink (hubby raised his eyebrows when I pleaded with him to go get me new ink cartridges!), but its sooo worth it, the e-book is absolutely wonderful!!! Thank-you again, Chef AJ & Andrew!!!

Here in Australia we don't call them "koala bears"! They are just koalas! They are marsupials, not bears! Haha, Chef AJ said "koala bear" so many times and Andrew was too polite to correct her but I could tell it bothered him. 😄

Hello my heroes, I have learned that - according to Arnold Erhet, and Chinese medicine - potatoes are actually inflammatory - they produce or make the body to produce mucus, which is not necessarily visible. I have personally noticed that especially after eating the waxy potatoes my nose is dripping all the time. I have also the impression that i 'feel' my joints too. I did not noticed that when I ate all plants, but after eliminating most of starches and eating mainly greens from my allotment - I started noticing all differences when adding certain foods. Could you look into this topic and make a video on this?

There was a study where a Male and female ate potatoes for 6 months! They lost a lot of fat and claimed they were not tired of the eating plan.

It's all about how you get your dopamine. If food is your no1 dopamine source, obviously you will want to eat your pizzas, burgers and generally the most commonly craved foods. Otherwise, you can actually get your dopamine from exercising, socializing and being creative and productive. Then food only becomes a matter of the feeling of a full stomach and nothing else.
