i have some severe problems with decartes' views. for example there could be reasons for whatever could control our minds (he characterized it as the deamon) to create the illusion of unwanted stimuli. one of wich would be that it would give us the belief that if everything we experience was just made up, we wouldnt experience said stimuli.
