    Thank you very much on the detailed explanation. I have started doing Nadishodi, anulom vilom and then brahmhari breathing everyday in the morning. I feel nice and grounded after finishing the brahmhari.
    I have a question to ask you, I do this first thing in the morning without drinking or eating anything. After finishing this, can I drink warm water or lime water or coffee in about 5 to 10 minutes? Please do advice. Thanks again.

    hello sir, everyday I use to follow Bastrika, Kapalbhati and then Anulom Vilom... at the end of my pranayam practice I use to sleep ... is it normal?... plz suggest sir

    Hi, thank you for a well explained domo. However, I'm a little confused as I have always known this to be Nadi Shodhana and reading through the Hatha Yoga Pradipika it also states this to be Nadi Shodhana. Are there any other ancient texts that call this technique Anuloma Viloma? Thank you

      Yes, Pranayama can be practiced after Asanas. If you have obstructed nostrils then you can start with Kapala Bhati.
      Once the nostrils are cleared then you can practice Nadi Sodhana Pranayama. After this You can practice Pranayama as per the suitability. However, ensure that you practice Pranayama only after checking the Contraindications that you need to keep in mind.

    When this pranayams can be done apart from early morning? How much time gap required before & after food, water ?

      Namaste Fani Kirans ji.
      Usually any Yoga practice should be done on an Empty stomach. Early morning or Evening. If you have eaten heavy meal, then there should be a gap of atleast 4 hours. If you have had a light snack, then there be atleast a gap of 2 hours. If you have had something to drink, then there should be a gap of atleast 45 mins.

    People with deviated septum may find one side with restricted air flow or sinus congestion. Any suggestions to improve for less congestion and inflammation of nasal and sinus tissues?

      In yoga there is some purification method which is called shatkarma (kriya) and we use this method with salty lukewarm water for cleansing nasal passage. But this salty lukewarm water is irritate your nasal passage during the inflammation of nasal and first you need to concern with doctor cure it with help of medicine afterwards you can do.

      The thing is, it's been one month that i started alternate nostril breathing.
      Since i started this, loose tools, and sleep variation occurred. Before starting this it was alright. Even i am doing slowly as per the instruction.
      Do i need to continue or stop the practice? Please suggest me sir.
