    Fortunately I'm at the age where I dont care what others think about what I choose to ride. The only criteria for me , do I enjoy it....that's why I traded in the AT for my NC

    Hi Paul. Great vid. I had a town mate 80cc bought from Cadishead motorcycles when i was on the bones of my arse. Commuting over a year on it, but loved it. The original E clutch🤣 cheers 👍

      I used to call into there, forgot the guys name it was a proper bunch of Harley Guys Hangout, I think the building has actually been knocked down now, And yes the Yam was a sort of competition against c90, I loved them, the double sided gear change, and you could wheelie them for fun "Memmories🤣🤣🤣

    Another good video Paul. I could just see you on a Corsa V4 especially up the lanes in Wales 😁 The nearest I ever got to a Ducati was very early 80's a Mike Halewood rep. Couldn't quite afford it so bought a Red and White Honda Britain instead which I had for 19years.

    Great vid bud , last few years Favourite manufacture has been Triumph (owning a Tiger Sport 1050 for just over 10 years) I also have the Royal Enfield 650 in Glitter & Dust which is great fun and lovely to ride and when polished up looks great and always gets lots of comments , I am Test riding the NC 750 DCT tomorrow and if all goes well hopefully purchasing one , Just want something for commuting and a bit of touring and the low down weight really is appealing as I'm now finding most adventure bikes too top heavy also seat height is an issue as I'm a bit of a short arse at 5,6 lol , from all the research I've done and sitting on the NC in the local dealership (Staffordshire Honda) I think it should be the perfect fit. stay safe out there buddy 👍

      Cheeers Dale, you love it, you can put drop links on it will take it down, a further 1" 1/2 I done the opposite I raised mine, starange I had the Triumph Speed Tripple 1050, just didn't get on with it, execpt it's power, I think more it was hard to move arround the garage, no where to grip, send some pics if you manage👍👍👍

    Alas I cannot spare over an hour of my time to watch this. Nonetheless I go to 'Completely Motorcycles' in Hinckley. I like how you can sit on *any* bike they have for sale, and that must be in excess of 500+ bikes of virtually any and every manufacturer you can think of.

      Cheers Bib yes bit long, I do like Superbike warehouse, multi stock the same you can sit on or pull out bikes, but not got the attention to detail this show room has, I suppose they have to👍👍👍

    Hi Birchy, I think you’ll find the NT1100 a great (TOURING) all day motorway motorcycle, but there’s bulk & top heavy weight to contend with compared to the
    NC the greatest (ALL-ROUNDER)

    I'm hoping they adapt the Hornet with the E clutch. Sadly, we don't get the CB650R in the states anymore so we have to wait to see what they bring it to next.

    • @birchwoodbiker
      @birchwoodbiker  4 місяці тому

      strange the way they adapt models doesn't make sense to me🤔🤔🤔👍

    • @thedragon1322
      @thedragon1322 4 місяці тому +1

      @birchwoodbiker agreed. I would love to see it adapted to the NC750x as well. It would reduce the price and cut a bit of weight. I see it as a win win with both options. I was finally able to get my hands on the NC to finally throw a leg over it and take a spin and loved entry minute. I'll be calling my local dealer next week and getting one on order.

    • @birchwoodbiker
      @birchwoodbiker  4 місяці тому +1

      @@thedragon1322 Are you going DCT or Manual, I still love the DCT but could live with that e clutch, four other major Manufacturers are now pushing both technology on there bikes👍👍👍

    • @thedragon1322
      @thedragon1322 4 місяці тому

      @birchwoodbiker DCT. A work related accident 13 years ago left me with injuries to my left hand. I can still grip the bar and such but lack the dexterity to pull the clutch so the DCT is a perfect option. Your reviews along with a few others turned me on to the NC and I've been trying to find one at a dealer so I could check it out first before spending the money. At 6'4", minding the ergonomics is an absolute must and I was quite comfortable on it.

    Hi Paul, spent many an hour waiting at that coffee machine while tracing many electrical faults on my Diavil (a new one).
    The staff are really helpful over the five years I had the bike, the bike itself was brilliant.
    Pity it wasn’t assembled by Honda !
    What is it with electrics and Italian bikes ?

      There just a completley different beast, I don't know what the new onces are like I had the oiginal 600 Monster which I spent more time pushing than riding, and it was like shakin stephens the rattles, the 996 was just like been launched out of a barrel, I would say like that v4 Panagali there really a Track bike with lights and licence plate, still lovely looking, But wouldn't change for my NC👍
