We all knew that Patek will win, because we all know that Patek keeps their watches simple while having high ass performance, unlike a lot of other watch brands that is mainly for showing off their looks.

I hate quartz. It's just not as unique-looking to me. I'm stuck with this Jaragar of mine for a while and I'm lucky to buy the fixed one - I bought my friend another Jaragar but the one I gave him had its second hand detached.
Wonderful 2-part series. Congratulations! Although the Cartier presented obvious irregularities, I still value the intensity of its sound more than the perfection of the small PP.
Excellent, thank you for educating your viewers on this unique complication. I feel like a better informed consumer/enthusiast because of it.

More harmonics not always means better (2:06),harmonics can cause nasty off-note sounds too. Are those peaks at specific musical tone frequencies?

I guess I called it correctly in my comments on the first segment. These watches really do stand out....but Cartier did have irregular strikes at the end of its cycle.
Unfortunately it should have been a all mens ,or all ladies watches experiment from a purely scientific research point of view, but having said that yes the sound was fabulous and even illustrious ,a great episode as always 👏👏👏👏👍
I prefer the harmonics of the Hublot, but I agree that the sound of the Patek is astonishing for its size.
for me the hublot are marred by the background gear sound.
A kid's watch? You mean a woman's watch, but the 5708 at 38mm is a gentleman's watch rather than a Cheeseburger on my Wrist. This has been a great series

It probably wouldn't be fair to judge the Seiko Credor Masterpiece Spring Drive Minute Repeater against these, because it has such a unique and highly refined sound- the unique alloy used in the bells gives it a sound unlike any other minute repeater made.
But you're right, it would have been interesting!
I would take the Hublot over any of the other watches. Didn't think the Patek was so great sounding. Just my opinion

I understand why you say Patek won but the Cartier sounded the best. The second gong in particular felt a bit flat on the Patek..

Emoitionally i have a wristwatch from asia, it has inside a circular box and inside the box all the gears and stuff necessary to work, like a wall watch.
Something different , for seure, my watchmaker told me its amazing to repair and easy,
precisioon its astuting 1 or even zero second a day and power reserve great.
Its anti magnetic and very well jewled.
Probably 1000 times better then you patek.and 1000 times cheaper.
