    I like that you added ventilation holes on the bottom for air intake to the PSU and a possible radiator.

    I hope i can grab one in time. I want to get back into the Amiga.
    I sold mine for an N64 back in the day. What a regretful day that was in retrospect.
    I just got a pristine Breadbin with the original Mouse wich i could not pass up.

    Back in the day when I did have Amiga500, integrated keyboard, was real pain, because every time pulled the computer, it stress the cables on the back, now days I don't have the Amiga 500 anymore, and they come expensive items.

    That is a really great looking setup. I already backed the A1200net project for the replacement A500 cases to get one in black for my Vampirized 500 and an extra standard color for my spare system. Will probably have to back this too since now I am thinking it would be great for a new Manjaro Linux box to do emulation on. Where did you get the black Amiga keys? Custom ordered?

    Was just thinking that if you put an Amiga 600 board in is there extension wires for the mouse and joystick ports available?

  • @RiotRetroGaming

    I'd like one in original A3000 colour with my CD32 board inside 😊

      Riot Retro Gaming sorry no cd32

    • @RiotRetroGaming

      Oh, really? All that space for expansions inside too! :'(

  • @daviniarobbins9298
    @daviniarobbins9298 3 роки тому

    It is a lot of money though. Nearly £400 if you need to buy the power board, front bezels, PSU, etc. Am assuming all that doesn't come as standard with the case?

  • @FindecanorNotGmail
    @FindecanorNotGmail 6 років тому

    I really like the keyboard tray but I think that you should make it even wider.
    There are many tenkeyless boards that have the spacing between right Ctrl and left cursor key be 1/2 key units where as it looks as if this one has the spacing be only 1/4 unit.
    I have been playing with a design of a mechanical Amiga keyboard with the full Amiga layout, only tenkeyless (as an option) and that one be 3/4 key units wider than that keyboard - and that's just the keys, not including the borders, of which that keyboard there has almost none.

    • @Checkmate1500
      @Checkmate1500  6 років тому

      The machine would be to wide then, best just forgo the risers if you want a bigger keyboard, sorry

    nice, pretty tidy in there, one thing. how do you plan on getting the hdmi out of it ?

    • @Checkmate1500
      @Checkmate1500  6 років тому

      Rear utility panel option will have HDMI, USB and Ethernet sockets

  • @KarlHamilton
    @KarlHamilton 6 років тому +1

    This is so fucking cool. I had planned to put an A1200 in my case, but didn't realise you had a Zorro board adapter! How many Zorro slots are on there? Might go for an A500+, Picasso II, and Ariadne card if possible. Brilliant work!

    • @Checkmate1500
      @Checkmate1500  6 років тому +1

      Sadly only 1x86 pin and 1x100 pin slots. However if you put in a vampire with 2.0 core you get super fast CPU, super fast graphics, you can add a network adaptor and still have a slot free.

    • @KarlHamilton
      @KarlHamilton 6 років тому

      I'll maybe go for that. Is there any benefit to AGA if you have a Vampire v2?

    • @Checkmate1500
      @Checkmate1500  6 років тому

      For some games, or dpaint etc.

    • @KarlHamilton

    I want to build my ATX motherboard in this case, and put my keyboard under my computer :-). Will regular ATX boards work?

    • @Checkmate1500
      @Checkmate1500  5 років тому +1

      Sadly no. Only mini ITX and micro ATX as in the Kickstarter docs and web site.

    I couldn't make out what the Zorro card does?

    • @Checkmate1500
      @Checkmate1500  6 років тому

      For fitting Amiga 2000/3000/4000 Zorro Cards

    • @Ratteler
      @Ratteler 6 років тому

      I got what the Zorro slot is for. I just couldn't make out what the card you put in was called, or what it was for.

    • @skilgannon1971

    How are you connecting the DVD drive? Also, what about an HDMI back plate?

    • @Checkmate1500
      @Checkmate1500  6 років тому +1

      This is a complicated one on the DVD drive that I working on, after all it is a case and as such the PC has no issues but the Amiga does not support all modern parts. But you can fit a scsi controller and drive, an IDE controller and drive, use the Vampire with IDE. But this is SATA right, so I am experimenting with Sata2Ide adaptors. On the HDMI output that is just a back user port hole, as with ethernet and keyboard etc.
