- Tesla software 10.0 just dropped and includes a ton of new features like access to Spotify, playing games like Cuphead and the new Smart Summon feature. Smart summon allows the car to come to you on its own depending on where you are. Question is, how well does it work?

The only good way to steal a Tesla is to disable the 4G Modem. Will require a bunch of tools and time. Which is not great during committing a crime. Generally a bad idea.

So in Germany I doubt someone did this cuz even by hacking the car no one would be able to just upload this kind of software and I also don’t think this kid even had access to software like this.

GREAT video! Maybe when the car is pulling out at 1mph and you are in motion while coming into the frame, it presumes you will also exit the frame. It's not expecting you to be screwing with it. Or maybe it trusts you to have enough sense to get out of the way [eventually]. But still this is great to see! It's like yesterday's future is here today!

Welcome to our Alpha tester. I need to see the instruction for users to use that feature. It's seems too buggy to be available to general public. Human are not that smart we eat tide pods and these weakness will bite tesla in the ass later.

Smart Summon needs some work. I want to see it in a full parking lot where there are cars in every space because its a little iffy right now.
I think it will be like autopilot. Starts out okay but gets better from experience

to me It seems to be better the more cars there are . when its empty it goes very jagged and crosses lots of lines but when there are cards it seems to detect them and goes more straight

The only reason it kept going to the parking spots is because it takes your phone location and since there’s no car parked in the free spaces it kept going to him directly with no obstacles
Then this feature needs to use its cameras to detect the lines as well of which I’m sure is very possible.. And by the time of my comment might have already been implemented.
