This weekend is a massive double-header event, with both Round 1 and 2 held back-to-back on two layouts at Taupo Motorsport Park.
Round 2's circuit will see the teams tackle the non-traditional 'Normal' direction layout from Turns 1 to 4 (Standing start off the main straight)

Great event all around! Shame the final battles didn't go the judges but hey that happens.
The commentators need to take a page out of drift masters Dave Egens play book! You guys are not exciting at all. Especially the guy who sounds like Alexi from Japan. Sorry but you’re boring. You need someone with some character on that mic! If you listen to every single other drift championship, the commentators are fun, screaming, excited than there’s you lol.
We're happy being who we are, as Kiwi's we are a little more laid back and from a technical point of things we are constantly picking apart the runs to find our winners - we just banged out 4 competitions in 2 days so maybe we'll amp up some excitement for you at the next round ;)
