funnily enough, these guys are running hella stiff suspension, if they were too soft, the trucks would just bottom out and bounce instead of properly absorbing the impact... the damn things are just that heavy, and the drivers are whipping them THAT hard.
@@pcd1377 im not an expert on rules, but there's not really a reason to avoid them other than if you lost control. they dont really have to slow down to go on a jump. going around a jump would actually be slower.

It's actually an American invention haha, Robby Gordon (that bright orange #7 truck) more or less created the sport. Australia initiated a ban due to an accident like 3 years after they started racing there where a wheel came off and collided with a spectator bridge. It got lifted when they agreed to have less inclined ramps :/ less fun

they have Onboard cameras looking front and back, cameras on cockpit, cameras on the wing, cameras down the car, cameras in front of the car, cameras everywhere, if they add too many, that would probably do something to the car.
I think the moment at the 2nd to last ramp, where creed moved to the right giving Gordon space to fit and jump was also pure sportsmanship. He could block opponent and let him fail at the ramp but he didn't

Really? I couldn't get past 5 minutes, it's like: ok cool, trucks and jumps and it entertained me for like 5 minutes but there is not really anything happening and it just gets boring after some time. Not really entertaining on a long term.
At this exact moment, of realizing this exists for the first time, i am so pissed at my mechanic friends for not telling me about this sooner. This is SO much cooler than nascar.

I'm a big F1 fan myself, but when you watch 2 hour race where the leader wins by over a minute to the next guy without ever losing the position, and the results are always predictable, you know there's something wrong with the sport. Not to mention they need to bring a safety car on the track for 5 laps because of the smallest amount of debris on the road and the tyres won't last more than few laps. This was amazing. Jumps, donuts, crashes, contacts, more jumps, close racing, solid entertainment. Really makes me wonder what do I see in F1 😅 But I watch all kinds of Motorsports 🙂

This sport is so exciting to watch!! This is everything you look for in a racing sport! They drive fast and hard, crash and keep racing and even when the guy you're racing against is cutting corners and hitting you, everyone is still chilling and having a good time. I'm glad I found this sport finally! Any other type of racing there would be a lot of fighting after that type of racing
