This is the only UA-cam channel that genuinely gives me hope and one of the reasons I started my journey last year…..Thank you kris you genuinely made my life better
Hi Mr. Sturmey, I am a 14 year old who was harming himself and was victimising himself because of years of trauma. You and many other male role models (there is a lack of local role models in my life unfortunately. Including my father) have shaped my life and unplugged me from being a total waste of potential and life. I just want to thank you because even though the average person will see you as a toxicly masculine weirdo, I want to express how you have genuinely impacted young men's life for the better.
Yea man I also want to thank these role models for providing us with such information so we can improve ourselfs. Just about think the people at our schools they might have potential but youtube never recommends these types of content.
@@kadirul00 Very true. But I have tried to spread the message of self improvement to my friends and most of them never really pick it up. Alot are inspired by me and have started working out, but they don't really do holistic self-improvement. I wish you well on your journey man.
@@soethurain A lot of people don’t feel the need to embrace self-improvement as a philosophy, and I would argue that basing your entire personality around self-improvement could be harmful for your mental health (I’m not saying you’re doing this, but be careful not to fall for that trap, because I did). Going to the gym and learning how to take care of myself physically and mentally really saved my life, but after a while I started to become obsessive about it and close-minded to anything else. Specifically at the time I was consuming a lot of pua content and some business related content, and the issue was that these guys basically portrayed what they were doing as enlightened and superior to any alternative (like saying that if you don’t have lots of casual hookups with women you’re beta, or that if you work a normal job you’re a slave and you’ll never be happy), but I didn’t want to become a pua or build a business, and yet I was forcing myself to fit into these roles because I thought they would make me superior to other people. After some years I was able to let all of that go and ask myself what was it that I really wanted from life, for myself, what was it that really mattered to me and what I didn’t really care about. This allowed me to explore new hobbies and find new things that give meaning to my life, and now I feel like I actually know who I am, what I like and what I dislike, what I stand for and what I stand against. I realized that I really like adrenalinic stuff like motorcycles and combat sports, but also more intellectual stuff like some philosophy and learning about culture. I recently started playing the guitar and realized that before then I lacked something in my life to truly express myself with. To conclude I would say that having an improvement-focused mindset is essential to get anywhere in any aspect of life, but you shouldn’t let self-improvement dictate the way you live. Instead, in my opinion, you should try on your own to get an idea of the kind of person you want to be (through personal exploration, trying new things, picking up new hobbies, meeting new people, exposing yourself to new, different and contrasting ideas), and then use self-improvement as a tool to sharpen yourself up in all the areas that are important to you. Hope this comment was at least somewhat insightful for you, and good luck on your journey mate 💪🏽 Tl;dr: use self-improvement, don’t let self-improvement use you
I was thinking the other day about this, and I realised that if when you die you start another life as someone else, you get to do the journey all over again. It’s literally like starting a new save on a video game. Fills me with the most incredible optimism.

I swear man this is so true. You just have to do the right things for some time and you will get results. The more you do, the better you do and the longer you are able to stay consistent the more your life will change. And with the compound effect of doing many good habits and eliminating bad habits... the progress one is able to make is insane. Lets fckn get it guys!!! Go after it!! Thank you for your work!
One of the videos I keep coming back to frequently since i ts release to remind myself. Soon 2 years in and starting to look like a beast and in talks with a successful start-up to become one of the cofounders or first employee with options. 1 year out 😁
He's absolutely right about improving bit by bit. I struggled for years to quit video games, and only been able to do it recently because I'm in a position where it's the only thing left that can hinder my success.
slipped up today massively. although i already knew this about momentum and 3 months (give or take) sometimes you just need someone in a position you aim to be to help remind you. respect
Never underestimate consistent progress over time. It’s the compound effect, it’s true for everything in life not only money. I think men would benefit from stopping to put so much attention into women. Chase excellence, not women like Richard Cooper says. They will come to you when you are at your best in life. Stay Based
I’ve been watching your vids for probably a year to two years now. Your journey really was incredible to witness Kris, truly happy for you bro. I’m 21 years old and I’d say I started my journey last September, and I’m excited to see how many years it takes me to make it!
You were a big spark in my motivation to change my life over the last year and a half and already I feel a million times more like I'm on the right track now. There's been hardships but all learning opportunities
Incredibly encouraging Kris, I was feeling down lately that I'm not where I want to be yet, but now I am hyped to be starting, now we just have to wait and see 3 years from now
So true. I feel like lately a lot of the habits and routines I've been doing for 3-4 years are starting to become something. People call me muscular, I am seeing my jawline finally etc.
I never ever leave negative comments under any videos, but honestly, your advice is simply missing the most important part. The most important part is having online based, scaleable income/ business that allows you to earn when you sleep. I’m doing self improvement religiously for 5 years now, and still have two jobs, one is regular as an engineer and second one an online brand with my own production line, stores, hi level marketing methods etc. I kept my regular job because it’s very fulfilling while selling the same products over and over seemed like a thing to do for a braindead person, but its just me. If I only went to the gym, did everything from the self improvement list and still were just an engineer with salary cap set very low (relatively to online businesses) my life wouldnt change at all. You get used to the body, people treat you better, girl are attracted and people think you’re better than you really are based on your looks, but its not important at all. It simply wouldnt transfer to more options or better standard of living, if I didnt push my online stuff. Do the right thing guys, but start something that is scaleable and makes money while you sleep, otherwise life wont change despite the transformation.
This. Those good consistent habits allowed you to massively attack on what is important. Presence and clarity in life. May I ask you some personal questions? If I could get your contact in some way. I'm also on my way to becoming an engineer, on last year of studies. I'm really interest into knowing more about your journey. I have been doing a lot of soul searching, for what is important, and a lot of action, grasping time with my own hands. But I have no mentors to look up to in this regard, to probably give me a check or insight, on what I am navigating or could be approaching.
Hard agree. I've said in some of his videos that it would be awesome if he would include the wealth aspect in his content, which is massive. He got his main bussiness with YT videos, but just a minority is doing or could do the same in an already saturated market.
It’s like these UA-cam guys think that only working on your body is the end all be all, never heard them talk about finances or picking a skill or trade….
@@karnazacss I think it‘s kind of a misunderstanding. Kris always said that fitness AND success are the main pillars to work on in the 20s. He just didnt recommend a specific path. But when naming examples, he always mentioned doing the employee thing but at a very high level (high management positions etc.) or an own business. I don‘t think he „misses the point“ at all. He just doesn‘t focus on which profession in particular to take. His main focus is on life and that you level up these areas.
I dont think I should be a role model for anyone, but… “never give up” is the best advice in my opinion. Just never give up and accept you will eventually die trying, but you never gave up. More tries, more times to succeed. I failed 100 times and kept pushing as a relentless imbecile in terms of business. The worst advice is “be yourself” . This is the kind of advice you give to your enemy. We are not perfect from the get go and we have to do a lot of uncomfortable things for some time, unintuitive, things that feel not right, to finally become our second nature. We are not the best versions from the start, and its good to acknowledge that. Take care of your mental health - its the foundation for everything else.
Dude I really have to say I found yours and Hamzas videos at the right time. I needed a kick in the ass in the worst way. I started a little over a year ago with most of the self-improvement habits but I've been working out since 2019 (I was 13 y.o. lol) and the results I've been getting are mind-blowing. The body is insane (comparable with Chris's even tho I'm not even 17 yet), mental health became insanely good thanks to meditating consistently, I've done a cold shower every single day since 24th Jan last year (so almost one year streak, I didn't miss a single day), etc etc. I'm the only guy in my high-school class who is earning money online (not much, 100$/m but growing rapidly). This was a comment to inspire more of you young guys, because i am not special. You can do everything the same. My genetics are pretty typical (I'm 179 cm tall, that's like 5 foot 11 or smt, and I'm not a blackpill chad or anything, and my parents aren't wealthy, and I live in a shithole country Bosnia and Herzegovina). I did brag a lil bit but as Hamza says, we should be proud of our achievements. Proud but never satisfied. Let's make progress together brahs 💪

King, can you make a video on how to stay low key when you become wealthy and in your position. I know you mentioned life setup and everything, but people nowadays really be giving you evil eye when you doing good in life. Like let’s say one becomes wealthy, what must he do in order to stay safe from taxes, robbers, government, and just slimy people in general, where are good places to go and what must one do in order to stay safe while growing and flourishing. Hope you see this.

“Aggregation of marginal gains” BOOM. That’s it. That is what life is. My savings account doesn’t grow 1k at a time right now. Maybe 50-100 some months, a couple hundred other months. The first time I watched Kris it's last September of 2021 and up until now. It's just too addictive! It helps me a lot on my self improvement journey. Thanks, Kris for this. Keep uploading man!
WOW WOW WOW!!! Truly TRULY incredible video. I have watched like a million videos on the very same topic, but NONE like this one. This is literally spoon feeding the secret sauce of success. Thank you thank you!!!!!
I thought this guy had 3 million subscribers . Seriously under rated
keep it up kris!
the way you and steve walker changed my life the past year(s) is crazy. i used to be a warehouse employee earning between 13 & 15 euros an hour aside from being a part time entrepreneur and working out (crossfit included) for 3-6 x a week.
since i'm currently preparing for competition in the crossfit open i'm also looking for a new job so yesterday they called me and said that the company i went to for an interview is offering me a job as a responsible earning 3 euros more than the wage i put above.
so with extra money coming in, focusing on competition, gym & my business it will be a crazy new year for me. in better shape, making more money and finishing the year more driven and motivated
Remember that the 1st step to fixing something is to acknowledge it’s broken 💪
35:16 The male journey is one of the most beautiful things on earth... SO well said, Kris. This is profound haha!
Indeed.
I'm 18 right now, made myself a 3 year plan for when I'm 21 years old, and told myself I'm gonna increase my value over the next 3 years to reach my goals and think in the long term instead of the short term
How is it going for you?
I can honestly say he’s right. You have to move as the person that you see yourself being in the future in present time. Before you know it your tastes in fashion will change, your body will change and your connections will grow.
It was one of those gloomy ass days were I was just battling self doubt the whole day. Thanks for this video bro, I really needed it. Cheered me right up!
Tbh this is true Kris. So many more girls check me out just after getting fit. I’m a shy guy so I have to work on my courage to start a convo. The crazy thing is I’m more shy now because of the new attention
It's new territory
Kris you should do a self improvement habits tier list
21:45
Now THAT'S a massive change. The broad neck and shoulders make you seem meaner than last year. Momentum really does its thing, looking godly Kris!
This is the only UA-cam channel that genuinely gives me hope and one of the reasons I started my journey last year…..Thank you kris you genuinely made my life better
Hi Mr. Sturmey,
I am a 14 year old who was harming himself and was victimising himself because of years of trauma.
Be good to yourself and to others
Good job kid, I wish I had this mindset at your age
Hope this comment was at least somewhat insightful for you, and good luck on your journey mate 💪🏽
Tl;dr: use self-improvement, don’t let self-improvement use you
you dont even know how much i missed you, you have become like my big brother and a father
I was thinking the other day about this, and I realised that if when you die you start another life as someone else, you get to do the journey all over again. It’s literally like starting a new save on a video game. Fills me with the most incredible optimism.
18:40 I’m watching this in mid April right now and I’m actually making progress after I started listening to you for the first time this year. I’m in back in the best shape oml after slacking off for months. Much love Kris
What have you done in this four months?
I think this started for me last year, I've seen massive improvement in physique, money and with women
It's a pleasure to see you back on youtube Kris ! 💪
you're truly a gift, thank you for everything you've done
Good to have you back on UA-cam bro, very inspirational story, keep up the good work.
Thanks Kris, it’s great to have you back. You’re a legend and an inspiration, improving the lives of men.
Glad to see you're back, one of the few youtubers where I actually notice that there's no content
slipped up today massively. although i already knew this about momentum and 3 months (give or take) sometimes you just need someone in a position you aim to be to help remind you. respect
Really needed this now Chris. Thank you.
Chris is back in the house! Welcome home Chris.
I fucking love these videos. There is so much power in the male advantage. When it comes to ideas for men, you are always on top. Glad your back!
Love your style Kris, we need some fashion videos mate 💪🏻
I always loved these longer in-depth videos, please continue doing them!
More 1stman, I fancy this
Dude I really have to say I found yours and Hamzas videos at the right time. I needed a kick in the ass in the worst way. I have pretty decent finances but man I've got a ton of social and style work to do on myself. I was also in a not so great headspace as well a bit under the weather/ with Seasonal mood problems as well. (I wish i had found this stuff much sooner than nearly 30 ) but in any case thanks for the work you do my man. Appreciate it so much 🙏
I started a little over a year ago with most of the self-improvement habits but I've been working out since 2019 (I was 13 y.o. lol) and the results I've been getting are mind-blowing.
Amazing progress man.
Everythings fine but the mental health part of me always suffers dont know how to improve.
@@ACE-mu5qx meditating and journaling, write your feelings everyday, instead of screaming work out with those feelings too and still write the stuff you feel and why, it makes you understand how it is and how to change it maybe, write them, dont wait any longet.
@@dariotatopiola ok man thanks
This is what I needed to hear, thank you.
I've been going to the gym a little over 2 weeks and already noted a big difference in my life. So yeah, in 3 months I'll be way ahead. My goal is to "disappear for a year" this year and completely change my life for better
best self improvement video I've seen in a year!
I literally had a thought yesterday thinking, what happened to you. Lo and behold you pop up.
Your videos give me hope and want to improve myself and I love that about your channel. Keep uploading and I hope you get well soon.
Your videos are truly helping me like no other brother. Thank you for everything you have done 🙏. I wish to repay you some day for all of this valuable gems. Your e-books and courses were never less than expected (in fact they blown up all the expectations).
25:30 Squeeze fruit and add that to the water for flavour. I think gradual improvement that is earned is powerful. Good video mate.
I check every other day for your upload.
Yes Kris Love it. Good to see you back!
21:43 bro literally turned into Kratos, wow 💀
NGl lie Kris this is the video that i needed. Esp the before and after gave me a hugh motivaton. We are all gone make it!
Edit: I'm really coming back to this video things aren't going as i wish especially with the female's. Getting 0 female attention is something that is really bothering me. But I know I'm on the right path. Maybe I will need to watch this video 100 Time's. But it's giving me the hope to keep pushing.
I will keep updating here. Let's see where this goes
Really enjoyed this video Chris. This type of content is super motivating
The re make of the old videos will be game changing. Its not even a remake. I look at it like a fresh outlook of kris’s current beliefs (compare/contrast)
Been enjoying your content since 2017…keep building the brand Kris.
Love you brother. Thank you for the invaluable content as always. God bless you and your loved ones.
I also have this flu right now, it's brutal but we gotta keep moving 🔥🔥
Classic 1stman right here 💪🏽
For everyone saying sparkling water is too spicey, i promise you IT IS THEEEEEE CHEAT CODE. Great vid tho nothing like a first man vid to keep ya head in the game, im tryna have the time to sun tan the ol boys namean 💪🏽😂
I am a hardgainer last year 65 kg this year 75 kg at 1,8m. Sure i eat a lot of calories not clean at all, but I see progress.
Great video! Thanks, and welcome back 💪🏻
Saw you mentioned in another video then you popped up, now I’m here. See you in 2026!
So glad you back and well
If you haven't already I'd recommend you get your ears syringed by your local GP but before doing this spend a week dropping olive oil into both ears to soften the wax
Thank you for your work, Kris! 💯
love the dedication man keep it up!
New to you and your content. Love this video. Helps set in stone some more modern belief systems in my personal development journey. Congratulations on your transformation.
Now back to the video you came here to watch
This video reminds me of the compound effect book, thanks for making a video on it
Back at it
You got me thinking about SMP . New to the channel was unaware you had it done.
Can I get a like from the people who are currently crushing their goals
Thanks bro hope you get better soon 🖤🙏🖤
Finally a new video
“Aggregation of marginal gains” BOOM. That’s it. That is what life is. My savings account doesn’t grow 1k at a time right now. Maybe 50-100 some months, a couple hundred other months. Same with the gym. It’s all marginal gains. A year of marginal gains all of a sudden look pretty sudden upon reflection.
21:47, can we take a moment to appreciate the results?!
Rocking the suave kratos look 💪🏾
Your videos are always motivating!
Loved this video man
I am 20 years old and obsessed with self-improvement and my daily habits that make me better. But i had a baby in last november that really made me feel depressed and it makes me feel trapped in a life that i dont want to live in. I cant focus only on myself anymore and cant even have fun with my friends. I mean the idea of even lighting some candles and being on my own in a calming precense makes me excited but i cant have that anymore. Im wasting so much time and potential and i dont know what to do about it.
Been through the same thing everything around you and your identity will eventually settle and you will be happy about it.
get off social media then
@Linda c. correct bro
Can you please make a habit tier list for young men ?
“Hard times create strong men. Strong men create good times. Good times create weak men. And, weak men create hard times.”
Off topic, but the beard suits him very well
I and a bunch of friends have had the exact same thing happen to our ears, they were fully blocked and have since partially cleared up and now ringing. It isn't wax I believe its sinus congestion affecting the ear canals.
6 months is more than enough to see conplete change
